View 1 RepliesWhen I signed up for the Cloud, the desktop application manager for CC wasn't installed on my computer, so now, when I try to update or install something new (Photoshop CC for instance), I get a message to do it from my desktop. Since I don't have the Cloud application on my desktop, I can't do this!
View 3 Replies View RelatedI bought Photoshop CS3 and have a photography studio. I have 4 computers to do my editing on and when I tried to dowload the program to the last computer it says that I have reached my maximum amount of downloads or something like that. It won't let me register it and it tells me that I have to de-activate one of them to register the last computer. Am I going ot have to go out and actually purchase yet another copy of PS CS3 to have it on that other computer? Is there a discounted price or do I actually have to pay full price to add it to one more computer?

Extracted all files and placed them in PS Fonts file in appropriate places.
PS still does not acknowledge this font.
I can download and install PS CS3 (as well as Illustrator, Dreamweaver etc) just fine...
but when I launch the app and select the option to start the trial, I get an ambiguous error message saying that...
"A problem was encountered while trying to load the trial period for Adobe Photoshop CS3
Click Quit to see if restarting you computer or reinstalling the software..."
so I did both, and I still get the error.
I need this trial version as a bridge for the next month before pulling the trigger on the full suite;
I have bought yet another Elements and this one doesn't work any better than the last one did on Windows 7. I am sick of wasting money and time! Last time I was out the money and just had to continue using Windows Movie Maker.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm a fairly new user to Video Studio - started with X2 version 12, which had 30+ mask type transitions. I used these mask transitions the most for my editing. I recently upgraded to Pro X3 and now only have 6 mask transitions.
I have searched the corel site, this site, and the Get More feature in X3 - but can't find any transition downloads anywhere. The only options available in Get More are titles and templates (styles). I still have files from X2 on my computer - which folder transitions are kept in or what file type they are? I might be able to track the specific files down and move them over to my X3 files.I've only been using X3 for a few days and I'm ready to go back to X2!
I searched but could not find any paths for download.

I have a personal website and upload video files for people to download. My videos are around 45-60 mins long and I save them using MPEG optimizer usually, resulting in file sizes of around 2GB. These files take a long time to download, and I have to upload them overnight. I've downloaded video files of around 60 mins in duration from other sites which have been only 500MB in size. These tend to be WMV files 25bit with frame size around 640 x 480 and bit rate of around 1122fbps, frame rate 25fps.
Is this the best format for achieving a compromise between quality and file size? The WMV options un custom are much smaller frame sizes, where can I find the right option? Is there a better format available in the custom menu?
When I try to download a vector image from the site , when i select a vector image i get the folllowing message: "Vector downloads are not supported on this device".I have adobe creative suite 5.5 installed and my computer is a windows 8 OS on a HP TouchSmart computer.how i can get these images "supported" on my device?
Shutterstock information tells me that i should be able to download these files -- but i continue to get this error message.
The brush size on my paint brush and clone stamp are not working properly.
View 1 Replies View Relatedyou can see what i mean in the following picture examples.
Selecting a brush (any 1 pixel) brush
[URL]........
shows my selection . Drawing a straight line
[URL]........
Zooming in to the line (600%) you can see i can draw a marquee through half of it ...
[URL].........
No matter what 1 single pixel brush i use this will happen... no matter which computer i use cs6 on and different copies of the installation. Anyway have any insight into this? frankly... it's somewhat limiting that i can't use the brush for stroking a shape if i need a pixel line and yet soft curves that a pencil won't get you.
I am not very good with photoshop, and if there was a brush tool setting to make it just like an actual paint brush.

I'm a web developer but have little knowledge of Photoshop. I got a web design job to create something very similar to URL.... Firstly i want to know how to make a brush mild like the white brush on that website. It doesn't overshadow the blue background.
View 1 Replies View RelatedThere are a few things I just don't get about brush settings. Sometimes it seems my brushes go all wonky.
When I change the settings for 1 brush... say I add some jitter to a smooth brush - then suddenly the other brushes get the same jitter applied to them.
How can I set the brushes so that each brush has a different setting that doesn't change when I change any other brush settings?
p.s. I also don't get why Adobe has you lock a brush by UNlocking it? Seems to me it should be the other way around?
I have contacted Adobe about issues with Photoshop brushes recently. My issue is that the brush size is smaller than the circle that represents the brush. In other words, when I hoover over the area that I want to paint or erase with the circle and then click, the painted or erased area is smaller that the circle. It's really frustrating when fine tuning an image, you never know how close you are to what you want to correct. This is only visible when you zoom in quit a bit. I worked with an Adobe tech for over an hour and he could not simulate the problem. Then he finally asked if I was using a retina display, (he was not).
View 4 Replies View Relatedthe brush, stamp brush and eraser tools are giving me a hard time the actual working area from the tool is so much smaller than the outside frame of it URL....
i'm using cs6.the picture i'm working with was enlarged to 400%.the brush, stamp brush tool was at size: 12px, hardness 100%.opacity 100%
in the presettings i saw the brush was set to normal size.also i played with the jitter sizes, to no avail.

View 3 Replies View RelatedWhen I use the healing brush is tends to "skip". It leaves a line of circles like a stamp would instead of a flowing line like it should leave. No matter how slow I move the brush it leaves a circle and then as I continue to draw nothing happens until I reach the edge of the first circle, it then drops another circle and it continues that way as long as I draw with it. The brush tool works fine, leaves a smooth line. The Spot Healing and Patch Tool work fine but the healing brush will not heal in a smooth stroke. It skips along a leaves a tail of circles the size of the brush. I am using a fast computer, i7 processor, 16bg ram and a SSD drive so I do not think speed is an issue. I upgraded from CS4 where the healing brush worked fine on this computer

View 2 Replies View RelatedI recently upgraded my computer to Windows 7 (32 bit) and installed CS5 on it. Everything seems to be fine, but using my wacom intuos 3 tablet i found that when making curved brush strokes every so often it came out as a straight line, the straight line being where i start and finish the curve (see pic below. The S stroke is what should happen. The straight line is what happens every so often with the same motion).
At first i thought it was the tablet and reinstalled the drivers to no effect. Since then i've discovered that the same thing occurs with the mouse. The problem occurs once every five or so strokes (i'm doing digital art, so there's a lot of strokes). It never happens if i do a stroke slowly, but will almost always happen if i do a fast stroke.
Testing other painting programs i've found them all to be fine (i grabbed trials of open Canvas, Sai and Gimp and had no such issues). However, getting out my old copy of CS2, i found it had the same problem. The problem does appear to be Photoshop + my computer based. I've since reinstalled them both but had no success there either. (My computer is a intel i3 btw with 8gb of ram, so i wouldn't believe it to be a performance issue)
From the Brush Presets Panel, I choose Basic Brushes from the drop down menu. Then Replace. The new choice of brushes appear in the Brush Panel and in the Brush Presets Panel.
But in the Brush Panel, additional brushes appear.
There are always more brushes in the Brush Panel than the Brush Presets Panel whenever I Replace. The Brushes Preset Manager is populated with identical brushes as the Brush Presets Panel. What determines the additional brushes that appear in the Brush Panel?
the size of the brush at the Brush Mask Tool can not be changed when I pressing the Shiftbutton
X6.4 - Win7
Is there any way to add a favorite brush stroke to the list of brush strokes, or do you always have to open the original file to access the brush stroke?
View 9 Replies View RelatedI'm using a tablet with gimp and I want to be able to set the brush size for the paint brush and also for the eraser, separately. What happens now is that I'll set the paintbrush size to 10px, paint for a little while, turn the pen over to erase and the eraser will now be at 10px. So I'll adjust the eraser size to something like 50px, erase, turn over, and now the paintbrush is at 50px. Grrrrrrr... I tried creating new brushes for both the paintbrush and the eraser, but there's no brush size option. This is my first time using gimp so I'm probably missing something.

But when I start drawing with the Blob Brush tool, it reverts back to the basic brush automatically
Am I doing something wrong or is the Blob Brush tool only capable of using the basic brush?
