View 4 RepliesI am totally new to Revit...basically teaching myself with this project. I need to create a ramp that goes from -1 level to ground, 12 feet up. I have created the walls for the path but I cannot, for the life, figure out a ramp. I have tried but I guess I don't understand how it works. I tried making a straight path with switch backs but I can't get that to work well either and that's not the design I want anyway. I copied the path of the ramp into a new file, which I have attached.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm using the floor to build the parking ramp. The ramp slopes down from west to east. I used the slope arrow to achieve it.
But I just found out today that that parking ramp also slopes down from north to south at the same time because of the sloped site.
So, how can do a 2 way slope at the same time? I tried to add the 2nd sloped arrow but that option is greyed out.
Everytime i press the shift key and quotation mark key for the double quotation mark to display on my text on PS cs5 doesn't work. It display a double arrow instead.

Is there any way to add arrowheads to a path with script (JavaScript or VBScript)? I don't want to make triangle or V-shaped path but add one of the built-in start and end arrowheads, scale them and set arrowhead alignment, all with script. There is no information about this topic in the Illustrator scripting references.
Quick explanation of how to make columns display as columns in the coarse level of detail instead of just as sticks?
I know I'll have to edit the family but I can see anything obvious to change.
I have created a couple text styles which are identical other than the fact that one has pointers using filled arrows whilst the other has filled dots. However when exported to dwfx, the arrows appear whereas the dots are absent!

Is there away to set this up? As you can see, by default, it comes from the center. I was hoping there would be some adjustability on this.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI like to have the path display in the title bar at the top of the screen. I check the box to display it in options. It works! But the text is almost illegible in the title bar. The title bar is black, the text is black with some cloudy grey background. It is impossible to read. I can't seem to find anyplace to change it's appearance either.

I have a renovation project that I have entered the building in a existing phase. I used the demolition tool to show work removed on a demo plan. I created a new construction plan and set the phase to "New Construction and the phase filter to "Show previous + new" . The problem is that all work to be demolished appears as existing and new work appears on the demo plan as existing.

I'm new to Revit, and some how have set two floors to display as translucent - I've checked online, but have not found how to correct this.
Can somone tell me what I have done wrong - and how to fix it?
I wanna confirm this bug. I'm almost sure it's generalized but who knows. But in most systems I've tried I couldn't get Gradient Ramp to show as viewport background when using Nitrous.
System specs vary greatly from Mac Pros to Dells and ATI and Geforces and one QuadroFX 3700. Most with recent graphic drivers.
Im doing a 3D design of kerb stone which includes a pedestrian ramp.
Please refer to my picture.
The kerb stone I have issues with is the one I have provided dimensions for. From the right edge, the height of the stone is 225mm, then is slopes down to 110mm. But what I could acchive is that the right 100mm I have shown is meant to be 75mm which the back stays at 110mm. Is there a way I can achieve this?
