View 9 Replieswhen i try to radial blur this circle inside the object this is what i get. what am i missing? the blur center is set correctly. im using photoshop cs6
View 5 Replies View RelatedI have not been able to find a way to spin an object about its center, smearing it out in the process.
I'm trying to make a circle which is white in the center, falling off to black on the edges, following a specific contour. I could use Gradient to make a rectangle and cut a narrow line out of the Gradient which I would then like to spin-about its white endpoint.
It would make a nice effect to take any image and rotate-while-smearing around some point and through some angle.
If there is a quick easy way to spin an object, rotate it on one axis through the 360 degrees a number of times.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI first saw this problem in CS2 (Windows XP, Intel P4). The radial spin blur filter introduces pixel noise at about the 8-bit level, which is horribly bad if you're expecting a smooth result out to 16 bits. It can be seen by taking a 16-bit image, applying a radial spin blur (10 degrees is fine), and then bumping the contrast way up (say using levels 125 to 130 in an area that's around 128). Zoom in to see the pixels. The image should be completely smooth but instead you'll see random dots all over. This problem was reproduced by somebody at Adobe during the CS3 beta with a promise that it would fixed for the release, but it wasn't fixed. My question: can somebody try this in CS4 and tell me if the problem has/hasn't been fixed? How about with a 32-bit image? I don't want to be suckered in to buying CS4 like I was for CS3.

View 7 Replies View Relatedi'm trying to make a banner for a jewelry store and the guy wants a wire-frame diamond that rotates... i have absolutely no clue where to begin. does anyone know how to accomplish this? can it be done in photoshop/imageready?
except i want just the wire-frame of the diamond, not actual shading, and also maybe have the diamond rotated 45 degrees to the left.
I have been trying to get a planet to just spin continuously around - which I can do with a timeline animation - unfortunately the animation starts slowly at the beginning and slows down at the end - even if I loop it.
How do you get it to smoothly rotate forever without speeding up and slowing down. Someone mentioned using the graph editor - but as I said I am new to this.
Is there a tutorial for this sort of thing. I have done a lot of googling without any success.
I am looking for a way to rotate a image, but not the normal clockwise rotation, rather a spin rotation. I have tried the the transform tool with slight success . imagine looking at a front view of a wheel & tire that needs turned slightly.
View 14 Replies View RelatedI understand how to set up a cyclic rotation for a propeller using the graph editor and post infinity, but my understanding only extends to a constant rotation speed. I'd like the rotation to start slow for about a second and then ramp up to full speed for the remainder of the clip. Is there a way to apply post infinity to selected ranges of frames, or is there a different method for achieving that effect?

I have a logo that I am working with and I need to make it a 3D object for what I'm doing in After Effects. I am trying to make it 3D so I can edit it in repousse because all I really need to do is extrude it.
I've tried the different options in the 3D drop down menu but none of them bring me to edit in repousse.
Also, I know that I can make it 3D in After Effects my making multiples of it and what not but I don't want to go about it that way. Also, I'm working with CS5.5 and the 3D renderer plugin in After Effects is only available in CS6.
I render 3d object from raster and smart object (extrusion) Each time i do the edge where the extrusion meets the front inflation material is slightly distorted. Should be a smooth line.
View 20 Replies View RelatedA problem I do not have in CS5 - painting/stamping/blurring etc on a 3D model is showing up in unwanted, unseen areas of the model. I have tried narrowing the falloff, selecting paintable areas. Is there a setting I'm missing that fixes that in CS6?
View 2 Replies View RelatedResizing objects is a mess in CorelDRAW X6 when objects are outlined with Scale With Object enabled to retain proportions after resizing.
None of the tools dealing with outlines (e.g. Contour or even Outline itself) continue to work properly after resizing the object.
I strongly suggest to recalculate outline property values after resizing if Scale With Object is checked. Don't just do it hidden somewhere internally in the object model by applying a temporary scaling factor. Instead actually recalculate the actual property values if Scale With Object is checked.

View 3 Replies View RelatedIs there a way to exclude single attributes from being defined in a object style? As example: i want to define an outline that does not change width of the objects, but everything else.
There is a small tick box right of every attribute with help text "None this object attribute is not defined by a custom style" but i can not mark it. My feeling is, that i need to switch on this tick box to get the result i need, but i can not. When i click on it, it just gives me a greyed out "Revert". When i try to make child styles, there is a way to break the connection to parent style with these tick boxes, but no luck.
Is it a bug? I tried it with X6, X6.1 and X6.2
1. After creating a clip mask can I view it without the actual object also being visible?
2. Can I paste one object into the clip mask of a different object?
can I snap an object/vertex/edge to another object straight in one axis?
I'm coming from Rhino 3d, where this is possible by holding the shift key.

I have simple a 3D bottle shape created from about 16 points and I am trying to map a gif image on to it usning CS5. No matter what I have done (work from a new document, etc.) I always get the error message. I also receive this error when I attempt to map a jpg image on to the same shape. I have attempted this on three different Windows 7 machines running CS5 with the same result. When I try it with CS6 the program closes with a catastrophic error and no message. I do not receive this error using the default symbols. The gif and jpg images are imported and imbedded into the document and then moved to the symbols library.

I am having some trouble with a file in Illustrator CS6. Within a layer, when I add a fill to an object, the fill doesn't block out the object paths beneath. For instance, say I have a square object overlapping a circle object in Layer 1. The square object is above the circle in the layer. When I add a fill to the square, the circle stroke still shows through the square even though the overlapped part should be blocked out by the fill. The square is set to normal visibility, and I have made sure that there are no duplicate paths that would account for what I am seeing. (I.e., it's not a case where there's a second identical circle path that is on top of the square, so that it remains visible in spite of the fill.)
Other details:
- I'm mainly working with a white fill, but the problem is the same with fills of any color
- When there's a fill color in the circle path as well, the circle's fill color *is* blocked out—just not its stroke.
- I have restarted Illustrator and restarted my computer and these have not changed anything.
- There are other layers within the same document where the normal layering rules work.
- I tried copy/pasting some of the problem objects into a new document, and in the new document, the fill works properly.
- If I move the problem objects to another layer, then the fill works as it should. But as I'm dealing with a number of paths, it doesn't make sense to create a layer for each to solve the problem.
I can't tell if it's a matter of working in too large or complex a file.

Trim the master object and the cloned object gets deleted. The master object cannot be directly trimmed, so I grouped it with another object, which seems to enable the shaping tools. check if this behavior exists in X5 also.
I have inserted a clip about the problem. Maybe other users and the Corel staff will check it out.
I've already started using the AutoCad 3D.
how to put a 3D object on top of the another 3D object in autocad"! E.g.,I want to put a 3d object of one leaf (raised 1") on top of the vase, so that the edges of the leaf are placed completely on the surface of the vase.
I extruded the leaf 1" first, then tried to copy it on a solid cylinder of a vase, but it didn't work!!! It seems to be simple, maybe not!
Is it possible to select an object for reading in an XRef?
PS I think it has something to do with Editor.SelectNestedEntity() but it is the end of a long day and I can't fathom it out
When I select an object and pan to make another selection the first object "deselects". The object(s) will stay selected until I pan and as soon as I start to pan the grips go away and the object(s) is deselected.
