Photoshop :: Insert Two Same Size Images Into Predesigned Template?
Nov 19, 2012
Using Photoshop CS6, I am trying to insert two same size images into a predesigned template. I can insert the first image just fine. However, when I try to add the second image below the first one, the template rejects the second image and just leaves a blank space.

I was able to turn the background to white. However I am still trying to figure out how to insert my image into this template so I can then have photoshop manage the color and print it with my Epson 3800 printer. When I click on the template it says could not complete your request because more than one layer is selected. This what Avery sent in the download. Do I have to do this in layers? I just want to insert the photo and print my images on the postcard templates I bought from Avery.

I am wondering if there is a way to insert a template that I have created into a project that already exists. Â I have created a template for the company I work for and we already have all of our plans for our homes drawn up. Â So I either have to redraw these homes starting with the new template or if it is possible load in a template. Â

I've created a set of templates, A3, A2, A1 A0 etc.
When I open the .dwt at A0 it is fine, the correct dimensions for A0, everything is how it should be.
Now, when I'm in a drawing and go on the tabs, right click, "From Template", select the A0 template and it opens a new tab as normal.
However, the paper size is correct, A0. But the actual frame with the attributes is very small in the cornet, about 25 times smaller, so I'm thinking units, mm to inches, but all the INSUNITS are set to 6.

I need to make a Template.idw file with my company logo. and i did that by using insert image options. Then i saved it as template file and when i try to use that tempate file for new drawing, it shows a message that the reference file path is not the part of active project. So there is any option availabe like copy image and paste in template in place of insert image with link option?

I am using Autocad 2012, I made a drawing frame template up in model space, then saved it into the DWT template folder, when I go into Layout and into insert to insert the template it will not show up.
I reloaded the DWT template back into model space and saved it as a DXF and I am able to insert the dxf template in Layout using the insert Block.
I can get the job done by using the dxf template but I would like to be able to insert the DWT template.

Any way to use iLogic to create custom iProperties from the cells in an Excel spreadsheet (both text and numbers) for a .dwg template. The only thing even close has been a user who already knew how to do it and was having a different problem. I am using Inventor 2012 and Excel 2003 and have very little experience with VB. I currently have a family of assemblies, consisting of two parts linked to an Excel spreadsheet to control the various parameters for each variation of the assembly.
I need creating an iLogic rule that will:
Go to a specific tab (I have four different tabs/worksheets) in an Excel spreadsheet.
Make a specfic row of that worksheet the current row based on the part number used to generate the models of the assembly shown in a .dwg.
Use the contents of a cell in that row (text or numeric or a combination of both) to generate a custom iProperty for the .dwg template.
Use the custom iProperties to fill in the title block of the template.

When you purchase a template for a website, it often comes with the original photoshop document.
Is there a command in photoshop that takes what they've done and saves it all as the individual images that are usually included?
I have a template and I swapped out one image in the file, but I can't get it perfect by simply replacing the final image. I have the photoshop file with all the slices and whatever people do with templates, but I can't seem how to get it to save all the separate images again so I can grab the one that I need.

I want to replace an image in the template .psd with one of my own.
After I selected the layer(blue highlighted), I try to Ctrl-click on its name in the Layers palette.
In previous versions, this will immediately give a selection box(marching ants) around the
corresponding image on the screen. That action seem not to work in CS2. Does anyone know that action
works in CS2?

I sometimes need to write a quick "Copyright" statement on my images and I'm having difficulty trying to find the following:
©®™ - I copied this from FrontPage's symbol feature.
Where do I find these symbols in Photoshop7, especially the copyright symbol?
I think it was in "Photoshop Classroom In A Book" i inserted the symbol with some keyboard short cut but I forget and can't find it in the book.

I am in the process of completing my Photographic website and need to make thumbnail and larger sizes for the the site. The site will have approximately 100 images on it. Clicking the thumbnails will connect to the larger images. How do I make both sizes in PS CS? Perhaps their is a generator that you would recommend for Mac 10.2?

I created a template 1 inch high, 3 inches wide. I have set it to get one line of text input from a .csv file created in Excel.
The text input has been set to use Arial 22pt. Sometimes my line of text is too long and the input becomes truncated on start and end of its line. I have tried to change the text to a paragraph text and using fit text to paragraph frame with limited success. Sometimes it works ok, automatically downsizing the text to fit but often it wraps to a second line with isn't visible on my finished print. So, by trial and error, changing the text smaller and smaller until I can see the full line in a print preview and it will work. Tedious, tedious, especially when my list has over 50 items. (the print preview setup may show 6 across, 10 down.Â
Any good way to downsize the text automatically to fit the template box? I want to have consistent output and if a short word or line fits the space I want it to use the Arial 22pt font, not stretch to fill the space available. However, if the word or line is too big to fit, I would like it to automatically shrink to fit the space.Â

In the title block of a my layout template I have tables inserted for revisions, drawing type, numbering etc. I have type already inserted in those blocks that I typically click on and then type in what I need it to say. My template works on all my other drawings except a particular one that I am currently working on.
When I click on the type, it automatically increases from 3/16" to 8" and enlarges the box to accommodate the new font size.
I've attached a screen. The top is before I click on the word "type" in the lower right corner and the bottom one is afterward.

We face a serious problem: when we insert jpg-images by reading their associated jgw world file the images are positioned in a different way (starting point, rotation) then when we do this by using ArcGIS or GDAL-software. We use RasterDesign 2011 on Acad Map 3D 2011.
The jgw-file looks like this:
0.116411954910561
0.0788005361703199
0.138141909607477
-0.146095373532603
30912.0675618482
390387.121812212
So we have following questions:
Is it possible that AcadMap/rasterDesign handles a jgw-file different when it is made by other software (you would assume standardization)?
Would a rectangular pixel-size have influence?

I wanted to set up a template for dealing with printing four images on a sheet.
I created an image the size of the sheet and then added four layers, each of the desired image size which needed to be positioned appropriately.
When I went to position the images, I could not find any reasonable way with the move command or with any of the layer operations to position each layer precisely.By that I mean simply type in the coordinates of the upper left corner, or move with the mouse where I see a text version of the upper left coordinate of the new layer position as I move.
If trying to position using the mouse, the lower left of the status line shows the position of the pointer itself, so that is useless in positioning the layer as a whole; and the numbers to the right of the per-cent size display show how much the layer has moved relative to its starting position, not the absolute position of the upper left corner. (I'll grant that the latter is useful, but in this case one needs something else, particularly if a layer has been moved and needs to be repositioned to a fixed location.)
The only way I could get what I wanted was to expand to 800%, and at that magnification I could grab the upper left corner with the mouse so the mouse position was itself the upper left corner position. Surely there's a better way?
Layer/Layer to Boundary Size... does not appear to work as advertised. The offset appears to be relative to the original size of the layer, not the original size of the image. The panner image is limited to the size of the layer, not the image. When you first bring up the dialog, you are unable to reposition the layer unless you change the layer size to make the layer smaller. If you make the layer half the size of its original size and then click "Center", the offset is set to - 1/2 the size of the original image, not + 1/2, which seems bizarre. The layer is scaled properly, and ends up where you would expect (based on the center command given, but not based on the offsets indicated), but the values in the Offset boxes seem to have the wrong sign. It works by moving the original layer relative to the desired new layer, rather than position the new layer size relative to the image. Which means you can't move the layer relative to the image if the layer is smaller than the image, and the graphic panner doesn't show you the layer position relative to the image as a whole. It is not at all intuitive and is not useful for quite a few common cases.
Layer/Transform/Offset shifts the contents, but not the layer itself. Which is what it is supposed to do, so that's ok; it's just not usable for this operation.

I am using AutoCAD CIvil 3D 2011. Just recently, I am unable to insert images. Whether I use the insert command from the menu or type in the command, the program freezes at that point until I hit escape. Now I can't work! Image manager works and insert block works. Is there a different command I can try for inserting a raster image?
I haven't made any changes to my computer, no upgrades since the last time the command worked (that I can remember) - I tried a system restore but that didn't work.
