I am using AutoCAD CIvil 3D 2011. Just recently, I am unable to insert images. Whether I use the insert command from the menu or type in the command, the program freezes at that point until I hit escape. Now I can't work! Image manager works and insert block works. Is there a different command I can try for inserting a raster image?
I haven't made any changes to my computer, no upgrades since the last time the command worked (that I can remember) - I tried a system restore but that didn't work.
I am having a right torrid time with this drawing first of all the seat numbers (see previous post!!) and now I can't insert a block!!
I select insert block and the dialogue box comes up - I then pick the block that I want and I check the insertion point box to specify on screen but uncheck the scale specify on screen and set it to 1.0 which is the same as the block unit, I then click ok and select a point on the drawing where I would like the block to go by clicking my left mouse button and nothing happens!
I have tried upping the scale of the block but this still does not work!
I've got a problem with inserting MText into drawings.
The code below works perfectly in new file (AutoCAD 2012 18.2.0.0) and in some files, but in some other files the MText field just doesn't show.
There's no exception thrown, no error messages, debugging shows everything is OK. what's the difference between those files which I can't insert MText into and those, which I can?

I'm trying to add rows above rows in the middle of a table. The options under Rows are all grey/not available. The last row will allow me to add a row below and the top row will allow me to add a row above. I'm unable to Delete rows, too. The table is not listed as locked or anything. Aside from retyping the table, is there something I need to do to be able to edit the table?
We face a serious problem: when we insert jpg-images by reading their associated jgw world file the images are positioned in a different way (starting point, rotation) then when we do this by using ArcGIS or GDAL-software. We use RasterDesign 2011 on Acad Map 3D 2011.
I recently upgraded to PhotoshopCS5.5 and find that I can't print on my HP Photoshop Premium printer. I'm using a MacBook Pro with Mac OSX 10.6.8. I also am unable to open 2 images at the same time.Â
Lightroom will not display preview images during import of raw images. Any images in other formats display fine but with raw images I get a gray window the size of the preview image and the words "preview unavailable for this file".
I'm trying to get more than one image into a gimp document, resize them and print off on one page. Currently, I need six pictures, but the number will go up and down depending on what I'm doing.
Using Photoshop CS6, I am trying to insert two same size images into a predesigned template. I can insert the first image just fine. However,when I try to add the second image below the first one, the template rejects the second image and just leaves a blank space.
Sometimes I am working with "heavy" files, images of huge size and when I thrown them to corel it really starts to slow down. My question now is, if I remember correctly there is an option when you import an image to corel it just keeps the path of the image and adds the image on corel on very poor quality just for you to work easily. When you are finished you just make something and the paths of the images are replaced with the originals.Where can I find that option?
I can't seem to get images to show up in 2012. Not all images... just ones that I receive from other folks using LandDesktop 2009. They are usually images of terrain.
I write a program, this program needs to insert some standard illustrations. I made these standard illustrations into different blocks. And I store these blocks in a dwg file. Everytime I need to insert some illustrations, I just click the mouse on the current drawing, I want the illustration inserted. These means the following points:
(1) Import the blocks to the current drawing, if the blocks have already been imported, then do nothing.
(2) Specify the insert point by clicking the mouse, and I want the block's insert point to coincide with the mouse clicking point.
I am trying to insert OS Tiles into a drawing using the insert x-ref command. I have managed to insert 192 tiles but still need to add 29 more tiles to complete. When I try to insert another x reference AutoCAD just goes into a continual loop. Have to force AutoCAD to crash after ten minutes.
I am using AutoCAD 2014 MAP and have just had a new system built (i5 processor, 8GB RAM).
Every time I try to add an image I get a message saying that there is a format mismatch (see screenshot). This is strange because when I first installed it, everything was working fine. This applies to the following image types JPG, JPEG, GIF, PNG, BMP. I have done some searching and confirmed that I am not the only one who has experienced this.
Ever since transferring all my files to a new computer, I have been unable to permanently overwrite any images opened in Gimp 2.2 nor 2.6. Worse, any image or even folder created through Gimp does not show up in the Windows directory folder. (but, strangely does if viewed through Gimp itself...)
The images are still changed from the last time were I last left off, but on rare occasions, usually after altering Windows User Controls, the images revert to the appearance of when they were uploaded to the computer(around 12/17/11 according to the files). Luckily, they revert back to my last known save (Yesterday) if a System Restore is initiated.
The images in question are .GIF images and they were imported from Windows Xp to 7.(whom I highly suspect is the problem) The Gimp version I use is 2.2.
I heard many good things about Gimp so I downloaded it, eager to begin editing my photos. But for the last 30 minutes, I have been unable to even upload an image to begin editing. I've tried everything, but no matter what, my images will not "drag and drop" like they're supposed to. I am getting more and more frustrated by the second. I read it might be the fact that it's a "jpg" file,so I tried renaming it, as suggested, still, no luck! I'm using a Mac Os X 10.6.8
I have been using CS5 Illustrator for over a year now and have had no problems until yesterday when I opened illustrator and was unable to place any images. Â I can click on 'place' and go find the file, it appears to go through the right process then there is no image on the artboard at all, anywhere. Then I decided to open up previously made files that contain placed images and all they have is a bounding box with no image. The Links panel recognises the name of the file but no image is visable, even as a thumbnail.
I have used Lightroom 5 before, on another machine and with success. I have recently purchased Lightroom 5 and loaded it to my main PC. It recognises new sources of images ( my camerais an EOD 40D) and shows the images. When I ask the sftware to Import it tells me that it does not recognise the images and will not import.
Is there a reason, when working in the Library module, that I would not be able to stack? Have images in a Smart Collection that is built based on keywords and lack of "rejection". When I highlight a group of images and attempt to Stack, the all of the options are greyed out. Â Not at all new to LR, have been using since ver 1.0

If I use the Develop module in LR to edit CR2(Raw) images and want to complete the editing it in CS5 there is no option to 'edit a copy with lightroom adjustments'. I get the option with Jpeg images but not Raw. If I choose Edit in CS5 I just get the original file and not the one I have been working on. How do I ask LR to edit my developed image in CS5? I am usung CS5 and LR4.
