I'm trying to get more than one image into a gimp document, resize them and print off on one page. Currently, I need six pictures, but the number will go up and down depending on what I'm doing.

I have 75 different images and would like to apply 4 different hue adjustment layers to each image and save them so I have 300 new images.
Idea on how to do this is;
Copy hue adjustment layer Merge the lower hue layer with the top image layer. Name the merged layer to what the image layer was Save newly merged layer and image layer in PNG format.
Doing this 300 times manually will take me an age, are there any scripts for CS4 that can automate this?
I want to create some typography in Photoshop that will be used to create a web address that will be applied as a watermark to lots of images.
1. After I create the watermark, any easy way to apply it to lots of images? As an action? Something else? Is this easier to do in Lightroom?
2. Any style of typography/color that would convey a Mediterranean villa style?
I know I remember reading about this somewhere a long time ago, how to save lots of images with the same settings. How do I do it?
Example: I need to save over a hundred images as .jpg with a quality setting of 6 and the image size at 1024x768.
I just started using GIMP the other day, and it's great; I've already gotten the hang of layers and moving stuff around! But sometimes, after I put together a part of an image using multiple layers, I'd like to move that part somewhere else to give me more room or to put it next to something else. Is there a way to do this without going through each of the layers, selecting the part, and moving the part to its destination layer by layer?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm trying to create a nice example of a paintscheme. In order to do this correctly I need to cut lots of pieces from a picture taken from the original truck end make them in to several layers.
Now I have done this, as you can see here, not very well. There are a lot of lines that aren't cut very nice and smooth. Most of this cuts I did with the scissors tool. The tank I cut with the path tool.
What is the best way to cut pieces from images?

I readily admit that I have another thread open where I mention this issue. However, that thread mainly addresses another issue. The problem that I address, here, is holding up progress on the other and I believe it to be unique enough to warrant an independent thread.Here's what is going on:
-I am attempting to have text travel along a path.
-I am using the proper procedure to save the background frame as _000001. and duplicating way more frames than I am using path points.
-I am using the proper procedure to create my text letters in a separate source image.xcf file.
-My RGB settings match up.
-I am activating the background layer in _00001.
-I am using the proper move path procedures and operator settings.
-My From and To frame assignments are less than the number of frames.
-Whenever I Refresh, or OK, the move path function, I get a Move Path Message stating the selected path points are different than the number of frames and I either need to adjust the number of path points I am using, or change the number of frames.
I have spent hours researching this. The only two issues I see mentioned are to make sure that the RGB's match up and that I am using the background layer of the _00001 file.I see that there was a patch for this condition on early versions of Gimp/Gap. I wonder if it could be reoccurring.
I would like to learn better ways to insert a logo image into an open document in Photoshop CS6 than letting a logo window float and copying and pasting the image into the other open window. how you do it in more advanced ways.

View 9 Replies View RelatedWe face a serious problem: when we insert jpg-images by reading their associated jgw world file the images are positioned in a different way (starting point, rotation) then when we do this by using ArcGIS or GDAL-software. We use RasterDesign 2011 on Acad Map 3D 2011.
The jgw-file looks like this:

Is it possible that AcadMap/rasterDesign handles a jgw-file different when it is made by other software (you would assume standardization)?

I sometimes need to write a quick "Copyright" statement on my images and I'm having difficulty trying to find the following:
- I copied this from FrontPage's symbol feature.
Where do I find these symbols in Photoshop7, especially the copyright symbol?

Whether I use the insert command from the menu or type in the command, the program freezes at that point until I hit escape. Now I can't work! Image manager works and insert block works. Is there a different command I can try for inserting a raster image?

Using Photoshop CS6, I am trying to insert two same size images into a predesigned template. I can insert the first image just fine. However,when I try to add the second image below the first one, the template rejects the second image and just leaves a blank space.

My question now is, if I remember correctly there is an option when you import an image to corel it just keeps the path of the image and adds the image on corel on very poor quality just for you to work easily. When you are finished you just make something and the paths of the images are replaced with the originals.Where can I find that option?

I created some images in illustrator. Saved the images as a .tff. Put the images in a Word.docx. Looks great. Convert the word.docx to a pdf and my images have jagged edges. I have anti-alaising check in my preferences but still the image looks bad.
