View 2 RepliesWhen I insert text with either the TEXT command or MTEXT command, the text is displayed mirrored. This doesn't seem to have anything to do with the MIRRTEXT variable because that is used when I'm actually mirroring the text. In my case, the text is mirrored as soon as I insert it. How can I get it back to normal? Is there a variable I'm missing?
I'm using AutoCAD LT 2012 .
how do I insert text faster? Attached is a screen capture of my set-up. I am bulding a plaque. how to set up "pre-determined" text fields that populate from an internal or external text? Right now I have to >duplicate layer>drag layer to new spot>enter in new text. It would be really neat if PS could populate from a file like web-site populate pages from other text files.

©®™ - I copied this from FrontPage's symbol feature.
Where do I find these symbols in Photoshop7, especially the copyright symbol?
I think it was in "Photoshop Classroom In A Book" i inserted the symbol with some keyboard short cut but I forget and can't find it in the book.
Using Photoshop CS6, I am trying to insert two same size images into a predesigned template. I can insert the first image just fine. However, when I try to add the second image below the first one, the template rejects the second image and just leaves a blank space.

View 1 Replies View Relatedin Autocad when you change the justification of text the insert snap of the text stays fixed and the text changes position around this point.
Using the JUSTIFYTEXT command you can change the justification of the text without changing its position. However this command is operated through the command bar of dynamic input. What I would like to do is to have the justification change in the quick properties this way.
We face a serious problem: when we insert jpg-images by reading their associated jgw world file the images are positioned in a different way (starting point, rotation) then when we do this by using ArcGIS or GDAL-software. We use RasterDesign 2011 on Acad Map 3D 2011.
The jgw-file looks like this:
0.116411954910561
0.0788005361703199
0.138141909607477
-0.146095373532603
30912.0675618482
390387.121812212
So we have following questions:
Is it possible that AcadMap/rasterDesign handles a jgw-file different when it is made by other software (you would assume standardization)?
Would a rectangular pixel-size have influence?
I am using AutoCAD CIvil 3D 2011. Just recently, I am unable to insert images. Whether I use the insert command from the menu or type in the command, the program freezes at that point until I hit escape. Now I can't work! Image manager works and insert block works. Is there a different command I can try for inserting a raster image?
I haven't made any changes to my computer, no upgrades since the last time the command worked (that I can remember) - I tried a system restore but that didn't work.

I need to insert text over some mottled regions so I want to insert black text with a white background. I can't find a way to give the text a background color. I can do this with Powerpoint and Visio, so why not with Photoshop?
Â
So far I was able to copy a white region in the background layer and drag it to the place where I need it on the text layer, but that seems klutzy to me.
Shortly I installed on my Mac OSX 10.6.8 the testversion of the Photoshop Elements 11.0. I tried to insert text in the picture and I choose the text-size 100 pt, but the text result very small.Where is the problem
View 5 Replies View RelatedSometimes I am working with "heavy" files, images of huge size and when I thrown them to corel it really starts to slow down. My question now is, if I remember correctly there is an option when you import an image to corel it just keeps the path of the image and adds the image on corel on very poor quality just for you to work easily. When you are finished you just make something and the paths of the images are replaced with the originals.Where can I find that option?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI am creating a text document with Xara Xtreme Pro 9, and I noticed that I can insert groups into floating text. Great, I can use this for inserting Xara graphics, for example a chart!
However, editing a chart is a pain. When I double click on the group, then the surrounding text disappears, i.e. everything outside of the group. However, that is not sufficient. For example, I would like to be able to define horizontal guides that don't move (relative to the chart) when the chart's position changes relative to the page. Is that somehow possible?
As a workaround, I guess I could put the chart on a separate page at the end of the document, and then insert a live copy into the text.

View 9 Replies View RelatedI've got a number of multi-line text elements in my document and I want to decorate them with some icons that further describe the content. If I can find a font that contains all the icons I need, it's pretty simple. I just add the glyphs from that font in the normal text flow. Maybe change their colour.
Â
But what if I can't find a font and need to use other graphics sources for the icons? They're not in the text flow and I'd need to align them to the font baseline by hand, and update it whenever I change the text length or font size.
Â
I'm looking for a way to insert a graphic directly in the text flow, much like adding an image inline in MS Word or HTML. Maybe it will be necessary to adjust the graphic size or the vertical alignment a bit, too.

I am trying to create a block which consists of my company logo and some text to use on my drawing sheets or templates
I have created a block by making a autocad drawing and creating /saving it as a block .. When I insert the block into my drawing the text style changes into a different style... why is this happening and what can be done to prevent this change from occuring. I am using autocad lt 2009 and 2005 the problem is consistant with both versions...
