Even though the strength of the blur tool has been set to 100%, the image mode is set to RGD, and I'm applying the blur tool to the right layer, it has no effect whatsoever.
View 9 RepliesI just got PSE CS6 and the blur too will NOT work ....blur filters work, but not BLUR in the tools panel I have tried: unintstall/reinstall, updating, using it no a picture straight after opening it, duplicate layers, selecting an area and then blurring....flattening an image, every single different setting in the the blur tools menu bar NOTHING works. And everything I find about blur is the new blur filters....

View 1 Replies View RelatedI bought and downloaded PSE11. However, I don't think I disabled my virusware. It took an especially long time to download and I don't know if it downloaded correctly. My blur tool does not work and my "guided" options are not there. What is the easiest fix- uninstall and remove the serial number then reinstall using same serial number? My question with this is- how many times can I do this, and or is there an easier fix? I have PSE11 and LR4 and I am going back and forth between which one to use. I really need all the options to work from PSE11.

get my pen (Wacom Intuos 2) to work properly with dodge tool like the mouse?It is the dodge effect was made by mouse..It is by the pen (same brush size)
The brush becomes too small and has a hardness effect, not smooth at all. If I size up the brush real large it's still not right (like in lower corner) and it's hard to control because I hardly see the brush movement. Pressing the pen tip on the tablet pen/mouse mode didn't.
I have PS CS2 & CS3, at first, when I used the pen tool in CS2, it would't do the simulate pressure. When I got CS3, at first I was delighted to see that here the simulate pressure DID work! But after just one use, it my joy collapsed, again the simulate pressure does not work!

I can't seem to figure out why in some cases trim works and in others it simply puts the top object under the bottom one instead of trimming it from the bottom one.
Does same thing in X3 X4 and X5?
I've tried everything from making sure both were filled with solid color - all curves closed, nothing else grouped with them - nothing - sometimes I have to try a couple times doing same thing and it will work, other times not at all - even after trying a save (which sometimes works)
Both top and bottom show on layer one in properties too!
i'm using 3ds max 2014, i'd recently installed it, and i've problems with the "conform" tool in the graphite modelling tools. i select the mesh i want to draw on, but the tool doesn't fit my mesh how i want, it just move it around the viewport with no sense. I frequently used the ctrl key shortcut in illustrator on a PC to temporarily use the selection tool last used. This still works in CC, but I used to be able to toggle selection tools by keeping ctrl held down as before and then toggle selection tools (selection tool - black arrow, and direct selection tool - white arrow) by tapping the shift key. The tool description in the very bottom of the window shows "toggle selection" when I do this, but the toggle selection tool doesn't actually occur.

The problem I've now is when I drag lasso tool on an image to make selection it doesn't make a selection even it is showed in the history state that I've used lasso,or magnetic lasso.

same thing with the connect two paths. holding the command key doesn't change the behavior of the pencil tool.i'm guessing there is no way of remapping the 'smooth tool' to option again? or was it moved to another hotkey?
I have problem with attached block (also with other similar blocks with field). This block include field in block attribute. Works fine if I copy and paste this block. When I drag and drop from Tool Pallete field disappeary.

The instant I move the "Blurriness" number above 0.0, the Program monitor turns black. I have tried some of the other blur functions with similar results (i.e., no blurring). The blur functions do work on my videos. Do the various blur functions only work on videos and not still, e.g., JPEG? If so, is there a workaround to blur a JPEG file?

The new blur filters available in CS6 don't have any on-screen controls visible at all (the ones that let you adjust the position and strength and other parameters), like shown in the marketing videos and tutorials. I don't know if it's a Windows specific problem, but I've seen this problem on multiple PCs.
