View 2 RepliesIn Graphics Editing software like Photoshop you can rotate an image ever so slightly to the left or to the right. I'm trying to super-impose a png of a head onto something and I would like to match the angle of the original head.
View 4 Replies View Relatedhow to make watermark images that goes at the bottom right corner of Special Folders such as "My Images", or "My Music". They talk about image tinting :
"The large watermark in the bottom right of the folder is 150x150 pixels. It's designed to be anchored to the bottom of the page. Tint the image blue (R71G94B148) and screen back to about 12% opacity with an alpha channel."
I don't know how to perform this blue tinting on my image in Photoshop.
I am having this problem whenever I synchronize a folder that images have been added into.
Example: I have a folder of images in LR; I export all those images with a watermark, resized, etc. into a separate folder of proofs; even though I performed that batch process using LR, for some reason the app still won't see those images until I synchronize; when I do synchronize, it is shifting the color temp to +8 and the tint to -11; I then have to go back and undo that color temp shift.
How do I get LR to stop changing the color temp of images when synchronizing?
I use EdHarvey's colour tint tool and it changes colour of the whole image, I'm looking for something similar but it only changes selected colour, so that the image is left with mutiple colour scheme rather than just one, any addon that can do this?
From this example, you can see the figure on the right is in a brownish colour scheme, what tool can I use in order to make it's colour scheme blue like the figure on the left?
I have 8 gig of ram and a nvidia NX8600Gt vid card - never had problems in CS5.5 and expected CS6 to be better, but it is not.
View 1 Replies View RelatedUsing Photoshop CS4 on Vista with a dell monitor.
I have the standard dell color profile set in windows for the monitor.
Whenever I save "for web and devices" I get a color difference between the actual webpage colour and the colours in the picture. So I searched about color profiles and I gather (I find this profiling thing very confusing) that I should set my photoshop profile also to the dell profile. So I did, but there now still is a slight difference.
For example, the color I use in photoshop is #12141A and once saved it shows up as #13151B
i have pictures due on the 7th this month. The only thing that bothers me in my picture is that I have a slight shadow out of my face (on my right). I have never used Ohotoshop so I dont know how to remove it. I have photoshop 7. I am attaching my pic and I would GREATLY appreciate if someone could list the steps i need to do to fix the picture. My girlfriend's picture is the same .. so Ill need to know the steps
Also if I could maybe lighten up the background ...
I have tried a number of different methods however I cannot seem to get rid of this problem. Every time I put together banners or any graphics/designs for that matter, whenever I save them and then display them I always end up with a slight blur. I am trying to get a really crisp finish but can never seem to get it right, please see attached photos .

I have tried various settings in Lightroom to brighten it up enough to see the moon and the building in the foreground but the pictures just come out to grainy and a slight purple look. what i can do for this?

View 9 Replies View RelatedI am trying to find a faster way to save my images. I shoot in raw, save raw images as jpegs after editing them in Camera Raw. I am using Photoshop CS6 on a Mac version 10.7.5. When I save, I either have to save as a copy of the exisiting image, or replace the image I'm working on. Other forums I've read said to make an action to save and create a function key to make this process faster, but my function keys aren't working, and playing the action I've created still makes a copy of the image.
View 3 Replies View RelatedToday i've noticed that when i copy/paste a timeline from Premiere CC to AE CS6 unfortunately nothing happens. So i can't dynamic link or copy/paste footage in AE CS6. I can only use AE CC. Usually i make my edit in Premiere and then i use the same timeline in AE to do postproduction. If i uninstall AE CC can i be able to copy/paste my timeline in AE CS6 from Premiere CC?
I can't install Premiere CS6 because i use an MXO2 card.I can run AE,Photoshop and Encore CS6 with CC apps on the same machine, but not Premiere CC and Premiere CS6 at the same time.
I have an HV 40 and take the video off with Hd Split.I put 30 minutes of video in the time line and then want to break it up to 8 -9 minute segments. I tried using the scissors to cut each segment and then delete what I don't want and share - output - mpg optimizer. That gave me five files. The first one is fantastic, what you would expect. The rest all have a jump or stutter at the beginning. Just for one second of play, the rest is great.
So I thought I must be doing something wrong, and then started over with multi-trim. I cut the five segments out using that and the same thing. I thought I would live with it. So then I converted all the clips to MP4 HD. Just to reduce file size and make easier to upload. Now the thing I was going to live with looks twice as bad. It went from being almost unnoticeable to a major glitch. Rest of video plays great and you can hardly tell any quality difference between it and the original.
So then I started playing around with cutting off the front 1.5 seconds of the clip and that seems to actually work. To get rid of it. But it is more work and I don't think professional.
Then I read something about fade ins so I tried that. I took the original first cut of the second segment and put it into the overlay track and used the little fade in slider in the preview window, to have a slight black fade into the clip. This covers up the jitter but the entire clip is now noticeably degraded. I mean it looks lousy!I went straight to mp4 this time, instead of making the fade and then using the optimizer to go to the same format and then convert.
So now I am a bit discouraged. I have a fast six core computer am using the latest corel x4 pro and it seems that things are not going to go very well. Simply cutting the video to make edits results in jitter at the start of each cut clip and messing with a fade in just ruins the quality. What to do?

BTW going from the mpg to the mp4 reduces the size by about half which makes up load reasonable, but still an all night affair.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI built 3 profiles with ColorMunki for three different papers (I print with an Epson 3880). Using each of the profiles, a slight bluish tinge appears in what I'll call the "margin" of the prints. My tests were done on 4x6 paper, but the image was only about 5" wide--so there's a 1/2 inch "margin" between the edge of the image and the edge of the paper. The bluish tinge shows up here, but doesn't extend into the white border of the print. The weird part: the bluish tinge appears ONLY using the profiles. If I choose "Managed by Printer" everything is fine. No bluish tinge.
This could be related to LR 4.3, which I downloaded just before making and installing the profiles.
Is there a way to apply a slight boost in exposure to multiple images that have different exposure settings?

I'm a Photoshop CS4 convert and until recently have been printing beautiful photos using my Canon Pixma MP800. Recently I got a new computer, a HP Z400 Workstation. Runs perfectly, except now I find that my photos are printing out with this disguting magenta tint. I've recalibrated the screen and made sure the proper printer drivers were selected, uuninstalled and reinstalled the printer drivers from Canon's website, unset and reset my printer as the default printer, checked all my print settings and color settings in Photoshop, made sure I had the correct paper settings selected and tried both Printer manages color and Photoshop manages color, all to no avail.I've spoken to Canon Tech Support and verified that the printer is printing correctly. I've printed out pictures that I've downloaded from the internet and that are in my Sample Photos folder in My documents and the color is perfect. But as soon as I go to print anything that has been through Photoshop, the magenta returns.

I went to Image -> Mode -> RGB but it didn't change. I am opening .jpg files.
I have recently installed CS3 and it seems every picture i throw in there will get a reddish tint to the skin of the person in the photo. Makes everyone look like they have a sunburn. I'm not sure if its some filter that is being applied or what. In the windows preview for this images I do not have this problem. Paint and Adobe Bridge CS3 also do not have this issue.

I am trying to draw an octagonal luminaire arm with a slight taper for a light pole by sweeping along a polyline profile. Sometimes it lets me do it, most of the time it doesn't. I can do a scaled sweep along a straight path and an unscaled sweep along a curved path, but I cannot do a scaled sweep along a curved path.

View 7 Replies View RelatedI did a screen calibration earlier today. And it went great and everything is perfect. After the calibration I decided to work in Photoshop for some retouching. Everything was great. I closed out and then restarted the program a little later, but now the photos are coming up with a green tint. But if I preview them in the Microsoft image viewer or paint or anything else they look fine.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI'm trying to change the color scheme on a model/figure I photographed, but I don't know how. I've done a search in the help field, but it pulls up a ton of unrelated articles.Example of what I'd like to do: I have a photo of a model jet that is red, black, and white. I want to change the red to blue without changing the overall look of the color. I'm not sure how to articulate this, but I want to maintain the hue, saturation and variation in the color. If I select and delete the red, then fill the area using the paint bucket the new color is flat and uninspiring.
View 6 Replies View RelatedRecently I noticed that when I print on a certain paper (Epson Premium Ultra Luster Photo Paper) that a blue tint is being printed on the paper along with the image. This seems to be occurring whether I use a standard .icc file or a customized .icc file for this paper. Am using Adobe CS5 to manage colors, rendering intent relative colorometric. Am using an iMac with 10.6.8. and Epson 3880 printer. The only thing I can think that changed is I upgraded from 10.5 to 10.6 a few months back. If you look along the sides of the image below you can see what I'm getting.
Just for the heck of it, I just printed the same image with Photoshop Elements 9, and I am not getting this blue cast.
I just bought a MacBook Pro three weeks ago. I'm running Mountain Lion. Also, I have my copy of Adobe Photoshop CS6.
Something very unusual is happening. I'm a Graphic Designer and currently doing an Interior Design major. I calibrated my monitor perfectly. But now, ever since I installed CS6, every time I open Photoshop, a bluish tint sets on the screen, affecting every program running (browsers, for example) and it's very annoying (not to mention it disrupts any color calibration I made to my monitor). The only solution to this problem is closing Photoshop (the problem persists even if I minimize Photoshop to use another program).
I tried opening Illustrator and it works fine. Only with Photoshop this is happening.
I searched on Apple discussion boards for similar cases and found nothing.
What's interesting, I took screenshots to send them to a friend and the screenshots don't seem to be affected by this phenomenon.
I would like to create like a blue filter to cover my picture to make them "blueish". so for example, a picture in black&white will become somehow a little more blue. if i have a picture representing a garden, everything should turn to blue tints.
