for years I used Epson r1800 on printer management it usually matches the monitor image quite well I had not had any success using adobe color mgmt in the past
the images I am printing are sRGB and now they don't match at all they are too dark and cool (bluish) If I change the monitor to the match the printer then all of my files will look bad on screen changing the printer setting did not seem to change the actual prints
i always use corel for designing an advertorial matter, but there's always something that bothering me when i get the print results.. why does the colors especially blue and green always looks so dark, infact, they became brown and purple..

View 5 Replies View RelatedI'm running Windows 7 64Bit running Adobe CS5 Master Collection. But ever since I allowed CS5 Photoshop to control my printer (HP Photosmart Prem 310-C) to do a test print of a graphic that I created all of my Blues print a violet/blue color, no matter what color blue. It has even affected MS Word & MS Project when I try to print blue colored font or Gantt Chart blues will no longer print blue, but will print the same blue/violet color. I've even tried a brilliant blue which will all view great, but prints the same shade of violet blue! All my colors and Blues will view great! I've calibrated my monitor and I've reset my printer several times and still the same thing! I never had this problem before I downloaded Adobe CS5! A strange thing is that I can run check printer test and the data & image that is stored in the printer will print blues perfect, including running a copy direct from the scanner bed and it will produce perfect blues. I almost feel as though Adobe CS5 has possessed my PC and printer, how do I get it back to printing like it did before installing CS5 Master Suite?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI began tweaking things up with proof setup, and when the "preserve RGB numbers" box is unchecked, the bluish tint is gone, but still the canvas was different from the original image because it appears to be slightly desaturated compared to the original image. The original image appears normally everywhere else, and that includes the photo viewer, the browser, the library, and such.
It even appears normally in smaller previews on the menu by the side and in the Adjustments>Variations box. The only difference is the canvas, and when I looked up the problem, it either had no response, or it mentioned monitor calibrating, and I've already tried that so I already know the monitor is not the issue! I even tried deleting the preferences file and relaunching Photoshop. The problem still persists. I have looked everywhere online, and I cannot afford clinking more urls.

I am trying to get the light blue bow to look as the other bows (dark blue) When I use the color replacement tool and sample the color from the dark blue bow and try to paint the light blue bow it just wont work..it color it with light gray instead of dark blue that I sampled.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have my own party decoration business. I had to stop my printing services because out of the blue one day, my printer just messed up everything. I no longer have it as it broke down, but now I have the same problem with no matter what printer I use to print the same file. It's suppose to print purple, and it prints the purple parts pink. It turns the aqua blue into more of a royal blue. I am using Photoshop 7.0. It also did the same thing to me in CS2.
I have tried 4 different computers, 3 different printers, and 3 different operating systems.
I'm having problems with lineweights. It shows up too dark whenever I plot to both pdf and the printer (Kyocera KM-2560 KX). Ive tried adjusting the ctb file (changing thicknesses of colours) but to no avail. This problem does not occur for my colleagues, with exactly the same ctb file. So is it a general autocad setting problem?

I am in Photoshop, all the colors are darker and more saturated. but when I save the file, it gets all light and not how I wanted it. Just to let you know, I am running CS2.
Much more full of color. This is what I wanted. I also might add that when I load pictures they are darker than when I open them out of photoshop. For some reason it just makes everything darker when in photoshop.
I created some graphics for a website and selected save for web (jpg). The first thing I noticed is the colors are much darker than the .psd file.

have to make 13x13 display prints and am wasting ink and paper testing

If you have had the issue with blue plotting purple with HP printers I discovered that its with the quality you set your printer at. If you plot draft or preview your blue will plot purple or a shade of purple. When I switched the quality to normal it fixed the issue. I called HP about the issue before I discovered this and they said update your drivers which mine were already.

When I get to this point the dark colors dont Blend well, they look like theyre displaying only a few shades of grey as opposed to many that would work for it blend better. View 7 Replies View RelatedWhen printing, if I select "Printer manages colors", and then go to the print settings ==> when exiting the print settings, Photoshop CS5 waits 1 or 2 seconds, and reverts to "Photoshop manages colors".
This happens with all the printers connected to this 64 bits Windows7 machine : Epson Stylus Pro 3880, HP Photosmart 9180, and a small HP all-in-one.
Windows, Photoshop, and the drivers are all up to date and fully patched.
I was mid-project when I realized my greys had mysteriously become tinted blue. I then continued messing with every color setting I could find, but nothing worked. And I'm sure it's not a display issue, because my other projects appear just fine. My whites are now (3,0,0,0), in both the document and swatches.

Took some photo's yesterday...blue heron, picking up a fish in a pond. Water is blue...heron is grey and white and has other yellowish and maroon coloring as well. The fish he caught was a gold fish. The colors on the monitor are wonderful.
The photo's were cropped severely. But are still clear. Now the water is pink...and the heron is a disgusting color of grey green. Have chosen ICM...chosen Adobe color profile. Used premium glossy white papers, Epson inks.
Tried printing it out without ICM and with different papers....still the same...Either everything is hot pink, or dull gray brown. This was my first ever heron photo that had any merit, and I so want to print it out for everyone to see. I was so lucky to catch the fishing capture. Does the cropping have anything to do with the printing of the photo?
When I go to open photos - they are opening in blue-green-purple colors as if a filter is being applied. The color pallette is also appearing with the same blue-purple colors. In the layers pallette - the icon of the image appears in the normal colors and no filters, etc. have been applied. It's all starting from when selecting the photo to be opened in photoshop.

I run an online wedding invitation design business. I first create the digital files of the invitations in Adobe Illustrator CS5, then secondly I email the PDF file to my customers, and finally the customers are responsible for printing the invitations themselves. Some people print from a home computer, some have a local print shop print them (professional OR places like Staples and Office Max), and some upload the design to an online print service.
I use Adobe Illustrator CS5 and cmyk colors to create my file.
2 times this year I have run across a problem that I don't know how to fix. The customer says that when they print the PDF at home AND at a local print shop (Staples or otherwise), the colors are not right. Specifically, my Peach color was printing Brown for her, and my light Pink color was printing Tan for her.
The first file I sent her was a PDF that I created from Illustrator. I also imported the .ai file into my Photoshop Elements 5.0, and then saved it as a JPG and PSD. Those two printed the same results for her. She printed from home and from Staples. Both printed wrong.
I have made 250+ sales in the last 12 months, and this is only the second time it has happened.
I get a slight difference in color in my prints my when I use LR prifile vs Canon printer managed. The Canon is much truer to what I see on both monitors which, btw, are calibrated. LR throws in a slight magenta cast. Is there a way to correct this?
