Photoshop CS6 has loaded on my Dell Alien with tiny icons, I need a magnifying glass to make out which tool I'm selecting.
Changing the display resolution makes no difference.
Is there any way of increasing the size of icons and fonts in Photoshops workspace?
I was just wondering what size canvas i should use to make an icon. I just wanted it to be a normal sized icon for msn messenger.

I have no trouble making a selection, but I'm embarassed to say that I don't know what to do after that. I've tried adjusting the hue/saturation, but important detail is lost, and (for example) if I was trying to make the image #ff0000 red, it wouldn't really be true in color with a hue/saturation adjustment. I know this image is not the best quality, but something tells me that I need to make and selection, then create a new layer.. but as a newbie I'm stumped. Oh, that is - a newbie still using Elements 8.

That option was very good for big screens. Do they intend to bring it back in the update along with the colored icons.

Sometimes the menu item for control bars is also greyed out had to close Xara just to access it again. how to control icon size other than at one point it says you can. The actual image it shows in the help files also have all the options for icon size greyed out.

I recently installed Autocad Electrical 2012 and found that the icons in the toolbars are very big, making the toolbars too big. I can't figure out how to reduce the icon size in the toolbars.

I am sure I am following instructions correctly, but nothing changes when I try to rezone the area I wish to have showing without blur. I could do in operation in the expert mode, but it should work in guided edit.

The feature where you can quickly change a brush size/ diameter by pressing Alt + hold right click (for Windows) (In Mac, control + alt + left click) is neat but is there any way to change that shortcut to a different combination? I can't find it in the shortcuts list.

Somehow whenever I choose that color and use the bucket tool to fill in the background I instead have the background become doe8a0 (the things that look like o's are zeros). I have no clue why it gives me such a different color.

When I loaded some photo actions into my new PSE11 it show only a generic icon in the effects palette, not the icon from the maker so it takes extra time to search for the action I need. How can I get the icon from the maker to show as the icon in the palette?

View 9 Replies View RelatedI am using Photoshop CS3 extended 10.0.1 on Mac Intel. I have made a layer of one photo that I want to blend into another. Last time I did this in the distant past, there were handles in the selected layer that I wanted to blend and I could grab and drag those handles to change the size of that layer in relation to the other.
It was very simple. I have been at it for quite awhile now but those handles are not there and I can find no way to make them appear. I cannot change the size of one layer in relation to the other.
I want to print an image using an online service and the attached image shows the dimensions. I'm VERY new to Photoshop and want to know if I can just enter a larger size into the fields to print it at say, 8.5 x 11 and, if so, do I need to do anything else to prepare the image for this?
View 3 Replies View RelatedI have my preferences set up for my cursor to show as brush size, but suddenly my brush shows up as a tiny dot no matter what size I change it to (I've gone all the way up to 5000 pixels with no effect when using the brush, healing brush, and clone tools). My image is 1402x996 pixels at 200ppi. I've tried zooming in with no effect. I'm probably missing something obvious, but I can't think what.
