Every time I open Elements 11 I have to arrange the workspace to my liking, that is with the image tiled. I have locked my preferred workspace in CS5, and earlier editions, but can't seem to find a way to lock Elements.

I use Adobe Lightroom but am new to PSE. When I use the text mode all of my letters are in caps. Caps lock is not on. I did reset preferences on next launch and that didn't work.

I used to be able to minimize my images and have them on my workspace side-by-side. I liked the convenience of dragging and dropping as well as seeing things right beside each other.
I can't figure out how to do it with PSE11.
How do I click and drag the corner of an image to enlarge it beyond the edit workspace? Using the Navigator, I can enlarge the image, but am only able to view part of the image in the workspace, not the entire thing. When editing, I need to see the entire photo and its edges. I could do this in the earlier versions, but not 10. What am I doing wrong? I am a former user of photoshop 7, elements 8.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have an Imac with maverick. When I open organizer 12 from the app icon the program opens but I can't see or access the menu bar on the top of the window. Can't drag or scroll the window down except for the lower rh corner. All updates are installed. Restart doesn't work. I also tryed to move it to another workspace. No support of that either.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI've used photoshop elements 10 ad it's worked fine on my other computers. I just purchased a new computer, same size monitor and I can barely read the font or text on it. I have 20/20 vision but the workspace is so small on this computer. I've tried changing the resolution on my screens and it's not changing photoshops screen at all. I'm not sure why it is a great size on my past computers and this updated computer it's not showing properly ? I can not use the program any longer with the changed sizing.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have several images in my project bin, then use the Arrange icon to divide the workspace into "2 up."
There are now two images side by side.
Over the left one are several tabs, although not one for every image (they don't all fit).
Over the right one is a single tab, with the name of the open image.
How do I change which image is shown on the right?
I can change the left one by selecting the left image then double-clicking on the image I want in the project bin.If I try the same on the right, the image I double-click on goes into the left side of the window.I can't pick from tabs, because there aren't any (other than the currently open one) over the right window.
I am using PSE10 with Windows 7. I've looked at the on-line documentation and tutorials, and they don't go into details about controlling the division of the windows.
how do I get raw NEF files (from Nikon) to open in the edit workspace of elements 8? I have windows 7 , and when I try to open NEF raw files from the viewer, it says cannot recognize the file type.

The workspace dock color is grey until I dock an image and then the color surrounding my image changes to black. This is occuring in the Full Edit Mode.
