I have an Imac with maverick. When I open organizer 12 from the app icon the program opens but I can't see or access the menu bar on the top of the window. Can't drag or scroll the window down except for the lower rh corner. All updates are installed. Restart doesn't work. I also tryed to move it to another workspace. No support of that either.
View 2 RepliesThe Organizer and the Editor stopped working together in just 1 of my catalogs. It happens to be the catalog in which I have done the most image manipulations such as renaming, stacking, albums, rating, etc. Now, when I select a photo in Organizer and click on Fix, Edit, the Editor window comes up but the photo does not appear in Editor. The only way I can get an image into Editor is to pull it directly into Editor. Then, when I want to save it as a Version Set I have to choose File> Organize Open File in order to save the image as a version set. Other than deleting and re-creating the catalog, how can I get Editor to open the image from Organizer like it used to do?
View 2 Replies View RelatedHow do I transfer the entire organizer of Elements 9 to the empty organizer in Elements 12? By the way, Elements 9 is so defective, it will not even let me back up my organizer in 9. The 9 organizer would let me select a photo, bring it into the editor, print it and then it would crash... then I had to start all over again... the darn thing crashes as it was prone to problems that adobe ignored. Is it better to just re-load all the photos from a fresh folder that is on my desktop? There are 5,000 !
View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm using PE9. Every time I go to the Organizer (even after switching to another program briefly) the Update box appears, searching Watched Folders for new pics. It always finds them, frequently the same, imports them and then tells me they're already in the Organizer. During this process, which may last 5-15 minutes, I can't use the program.

View 1 Replies View RelatedWhen I double-click on a photo file (e.g. jpg) Elements 12 opens but the photo isn't in the Editor window. Double-clicking on the photo again opens the photo in the Editor window.
On all the other versions of Elements I have used, one double-click on a file opened Elements and the photo appeared in the Editor window.Is Elements 12 different or is there something I need to change to make this work as it always did?
I have Photoshop Elements 11 running in Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit.
When I double click a jpg file to open it in the editor the editor opens but the image does not open. However if I open the editor and open any jpg file then double click on another file it will open.

All worked correctly immed. after first install. Closed down PsE and then tried to reopen; the opening screen displayed and I was able to open the Organiser. Nothing happened when when I tried to open the editor from the Organiser. Closed down and then tried opening the editor from the opening screen - this screen closed and no editor appeared.
Logged off Windows and tried PsE again - all worked correctly until I closed down then as before.
Reinstall of PsE - no difference. Tried the 6 suggestions by a contributor to a similar problem 2 days ago - no difference. Premiere Elements 11 works correctly at all times.
I have been using PSE 6 happily on my iMac under OS 10.6.8. Now it won't open fully. I get a blank opening screen and functionality. Tried deleting and copying my programme from backup but same result. The installer only works once. What can I do.

View 7 Replies View RelatedFew days ago I opened a file in corel x6 and bitstream font navigator found missing fonts and installed them. After that I found that a lot of my fonts are partly missing and I mean for example Arial has only Italic and Bold Italic but no Regular or Normal, Bold and Italic... That happens with a lot of my fonts.
I'm with win7 64 bit and cdrX6 + font navigator 64.

After I cut a three-point curve through the middle the curviest part becomes really fat (see attached photo). I have not found options to tackle this problem. I just want to draw that half curve.
Another problem is: When I enlarge figures the wideness of the lines enlarge also. What is this? 0,3 mm wide = 0.3 mm wide. If after enlarging I try to paste the different figures together one figure has a fatter line than another, while the figures both indicate to be 0.3 mm wide. I cannot make the fat line thin enough because there is a limit in which you can make the lines thin.
I only want to draw an ascending sinus (growing amplitude) in a mathematical looking way.

I used to be able to minimize my images and have them on my workspace side-by-side. I liked the convenience of dragging and dropping as well as seeing things right beside each other.
I can't figure out how to do it with PSE11.
How do I click and drag the corner of an image to enlarge it beyond the edit workspace? Using the Navigator, I can enlarge the image, but am only able to view part of the image in the workspace, not the entire thing. When editing, I need to see the entire photo and its edges. I could do this in the earlier versions, but not 10. What am I doing wrong? I am a former user of photoshop 7, elements 8.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI've used photoshop elements 10 ad it's worked fine on my other computers. I just purchased a new computer, same size monitor and I can barely read the font or text on it. I have 20/20 vision but the workspace is so small on this computer. I've tried changing the resolution on my screens and it's not changing photoshops screen at all. I'm not sure why it is a great size on my past computers and this updated computer it's not showing properly ? I can not use the program any longer with the changed sizing.

There are now two images side by side.
Over the left one are several tabs, although not one for every image (they don't all fit).
Over the right one is a single tab, with the name of the open image.
How do I change which image is shown on the right?
I can change the left one by selecting the left image then double-clicking on the image I want in the project bin.If I try the same on the right, the image I double-click on goes into the left side of the window.I can't pick from tabs, because there aren't any (other than the currently open one) over the right window.
I am using PSE10 with Windows 7. I've looked at the on-line documentation and tutorials, and they don't go into details about controlling the division of the windows.
how do I get raw NEF files (from Nikon) to open in the edit workspace of elements 8? I have windows 7 , and when I try to open NEF raw files from the viewer, it says cannot recognize the file type.
