Photoshop Elements :: Enlarge Photo In Edit Workspace?
Feb 13, 2014How do I click and drag the corner of an image to enlarge it beyond the edit workspace? Using the Navigator, I can enlarge the image, but am only able to view part of the image in the workspace, not the entire thing. When editing, I need to see the entire photo and its edges. I could do this in the earlier versions, but not 10. What am I doing wrong? I am a former user of photoshop 7, elements 8.

Oct 9, 2012I accidently changed the color of the background outside of my docked image from grey to black and can not figure out how to reset it to the default grey. The workspace dock color is grey until I dock an image and then the color surrounding my image changes to black. This is occuring in the Full Edit Mode.

Apr 23, 2011I have a web design comp in Photo-Paint X5 with all of my layers nice and organized, and some are hidden. If I edit a text layer, upon exiting the edit all of my hidden layers reappear, but only within a "group". It's very annoying to have to go back and hide all of those layers again.

Jan 29, 2014I have an Imac with maverick. When I open organizer 12 from the app icon the program opens but I can't see or access the menu bar on the top of the window. Can't drag or scroll the window down except for the lower rh corner. All updates are installed. Restart doesn't work. I also tryed to move it to another workspace. No support of that either.

May 19, 2013I've used photoshop elements 10 ad it's worked fine on my other computers. I just purchased a new computer, same size monitor and I can barely read the font or text on it. I have 20/20 vision but the workspace is so small on this computer. I've tried changing the resolution on my screens and it's not changing photoshops screen at all. I'm not sure why it is a great size on my past computers and this updated computer it's not showing properly ? I can not use the program any longer with the changed sizing.

Oct 8, 2012I have several images in my project bin, then use the Arrange icon to divide the workspace into "2 up."
There are now two images side by side.
Over the left one are several tabs, although not one for every image (they don't all fit).
Over the right one is a single tab, with the name of the open image.
How do I change which image is shown on the right?
I can change the left one by selecting the left image then double-clicking on the image I want in the project bin.If I try the same on the right, the image I double-click on goes into the left side of the window.I can't pick from tabs, because there aren't any (other than the currently open one) over the right window.
I am using PSE10 with Windows 7. I've looked at the on-line documentation and tutorials, and they don't go into details about controlling the division of the windows.

Feb 9, 2012In 2008, never had this issue.Just dumb, circles, and lines in a view port, that have hidden or center linetyoes assigned to them. When we go to plot using legacy hidden (this new for 2012?) the plot comes out with continuous lines. These are not solids. Just ordinary line entities.Now, when I change the shadeplot to "hidden" the linetype is shown correctly, but now my entities are coloured, when I just want my drawing to be black and white (going to PDF), even though all of the colours in the pen style are set to "Black".
Has this changed? Is there a new variable introduced?

Aug 3, 2011I'm drawing objects (walls, platforms, etc.) in 3d made up primarily of extruded polygons. I want to be able to plot these objects in a way that hides all of the lines which are obscured by other objects. Currently I have my viewports set up with a 2D Wireframe visual style and a Hidden shade plot. This isn't working for me. I'm still getting all of the lines in the drawing visible no matter what.
Here's the strange thing: It seems to work perfectly fine in plan view, but not in front view. Also, it's worked fine in the past. It seems that the problem has gotten progressively worse over the past year or so.
I'm using AutoCAD 2008.

Jan 13, 2014Here is my situation: I want to draw a vertical line on the left-hand side of my workspace about an inch away (to the right) from the left edge. Then I want to fill up that inch-wide column with a particular color. The end result being that I will have an inch-wide bar of color running vertically down the left side of my project.
I know this is probably really easy to do but it's been a long time since I had a course in Photoshop.
I use PSE 6.
