View 1 Replies View RelatedI am suddenly having a problem here with enlarging my photographs that I am editing. In the past, I would open an image and then click on Control + 0 (zero). This would enlarge the image to the working area. Also, it would do the same thing if I double clicked on the little hand on the toolbar on left side of screen. For some reason, this stopped working. How do I get this back?

I found a guide via google which told me how to do that but this guide is for PS not PSE and in PSE we not have layer matting (or at least i din't found it) so my question is, is there a way to delete this "borders" from my image with PSE easy way? Or i have to delete them manually ?

View 5 Replies View RelatedWhat I need to do is find an easy way to remove the white spacing around an item and have the item displayed tight to the edges.
For example: I need a quick and easy way to turn this into this
With the intention of then being able to resize the image to the exact dimensions I require before then resizing the canvas size to create the exact amount of white spacing between the tops and bottom of the image.
I've got a problem following playing around (Typical, isn't it?). Architecture 2011 allows editing property sets from external objects through the host drawing (i.e. change a room number of a property set attached to a space xref'ed in from another construct). This obviously has to put an editing lock onto the xref to prevent data loss in case somebody else works on the xref in the meantime. This editing lock is removed when I close my host drawing. However, the lock is immediately restored when I re-open the host drawing.
How can I release the xref file lock again after editing the property sets in my host drawing?
Ps CS6 (13.0)
OS X 10.6.8
I find it annoying that changes in the resulting pixels are not displayed while a control in the Gradient Fill, Layer Style Gradient Overlay, Gradient Editor and Color Picker dialogues is being dragged. The mouse button has to be released for the change to be displayed in the resulting pixels. (I realise that the controls can be manipulated in ways other than dragging to see instantaneous changes to the image pixels. For example, the mouse wheel or keyboard arrows.)
Another annoyance is that the Gradient Editor window prevents operation of controls (such as scale and orientation) in the Gradient Fill and Layer Style Gradient Overlay dialogues.
future Ps will not have these restrictions.
The lack of feedback in the image while mouse-dragging controls affects more than just the editing of gradients, of course. many dialogues are not restricted in this way, for example, image adjustments.
Every time I open Elements 11 I have to arrange the workspace to my liking, that is with the image tiled. I have locked my preferred workspace in CS5, and earlier editions, but can't seem to find a way to lock Elements.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm used to a PC, but am having to use a mac once a week for a new job.
When I hit "Cmd -0" to view my image in its entirety, my background screen shrinks with it. Then, when I zoom in again, I have to expand the screen again.
I'd like to have my background to stay locked in the same position where I have placed it, with only my image file expanding or shrinking, as I work.
I want to lock or password my files so that people can not tamper with my work.
View 2 Replies View RelatedAfter editing/touching up a significant number of photos, Photoshop Elements 11 either hangs or closes down. Works fine again after re-opening (however, unsaved work lost), but will repeat this behavior again without warning. Running the app in Windows 7 (64-bit), 8GB or RAM and an SSD drive and have applied all program updates.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have a high res image of a map and I want to add it to a project and ZOOM in to a particular spot on that image.
I also want the image to stay unzoomed for a short time, then zoom in and then remain zoomed in for a short time.
I have added two 'key frames' (using add key frame) and have applied the zoom between them.
My problem is how to make sure the image doesn't move between the start and the first key frame (and between the second key frame and the end). I know that I can drag the RED CROSS using my mouse but I am finding it almost impossible to end up with the image without at least one black stripe on one edge (ie image not centered).
The result is that the resulting video clip moves slightly on the screen between the start and key frame 1 (and also between the zoomed in image at the second key frame and the end of the clip).
Is there a method like 'snap to grid) to force the image to the same place as the previous key frame?
I am a C# developer and not very familiar with coreldraw(when using with c#). My problem is that i am programmatically importing image on a curve using the following C# code.
d.ActiveLayer.Import(imgpath);// image path is path of the cdr file
var v = d.ActiveShape;
v.SizeHeight = 20.00;
v.SizeWidth = 15.00;
v.AddToPowerClip(s);
Now when i run this code the image gets placed into the curve bit it gets stretched vertically means the face of a student(that comes from imagepath) get stretched vertically..When i do this Manually with scaling and sizing ratio locked it gets properly inserted in curve....
In all previous versions of Elements, if you set your editing in iPhoto preferences to Elements it would send the file to Elements and open in the Editor.. with this version when I do the same, it only opens the editor but no picture to edit..
