I made a dvd video on elements 7 (wmv) but it will not play on a dvd player. If I upgrade to elements 11 will it allow me to burn a dvd that will be a different format to be played on a dvd player?
View 2 RepliesWay to pick an alternate video player. I'm a pse 11 user, I only use the organizer for my pictures and video. I like to view them in it. It's always a lot of trouble to view videos in the pse video player because it cannot play most of them out of the box. It cannot be set in full screen. I would like a shortcut like the image one, edit in alternate editor. It would be view in alternate video player, I would use vlc and never bother with the embedded one.

Since then, I cannot import nor play video (avi or mov).
When importing, I got an error related to a connexion to the Dynamic Link Server When playing videoa previously imported with Lightroom4, I got a grey screen and it doesn't start.
In LR4 when I burn my slideshow video to a USB and play on my TV, the slideshow works fine but the mp3 music skips during transitions. Played on the PC music is fine. I am using 'fit to music'

View 1 Replies View RelatedSo, I've rendered my still images with iray, and opened them in RAM player. So far, so good. Video looks and plays great. But when I save the video file (no matter which format or compression I use) the end result is really dark. Like, I can barely see the animation dark.
I've attached images comparing the RAM player view and the resulting video in WMP.
On a side note, the reason I'm using RAM over other post editing software is that I only rendered every 5th frame for sake of time. In other software, the video is really choppy, but RAM player handles it beautifully.

When I use photos, they pixelate slightly and loose quite a bit of clarity as soon as I press play. Why is this?

The only way (so far) to get it to work again is to restart Windows.And then again, I can watch 3 to 4 videos before the problem occurs again.My computer runs 64-bit Windows 7 with 8GB RAM.

I can import it in a visual studio pro x5 project. The problem is that when I play it in Video Studio environment, some sequences are replayed twice and it happens that I see video artifacts.
Is it due to the codec? I have downloaded (and bought) VideoStudio last week, so I think it is not necessary to download the patch provided on the website.

I have video studio 7 SE DVD. When I capture edit and share my file and burn it to DVD, the picture looks fat and stretched whenplayed on a widescreen TV.
I have played around with some of the properties and setting on the program but everything I do has the same effect.
I can have the TV set to 4.3 and the picture is fine but of course I have the black bars on each side.
Is there a way to have it show correctly on the widescreen TV without affecting the quality?
I dont mind if it cut some of the picture out as in top and bottom, I just want to keep the picture the right ratio without stretching it to fit.
My video camera I am using is a DV cam. I think it might be half the problem as it records in 4.3 format and is playing on a 16.9 TV.
I've tried everything I can think of to get the audio to playback after capturing from a VHS tape, but can't figure it out. I can hear the audio output from my sound card during capture, but playback has no audio. I noticed in the Video Properties box of the Options menu in Capture that the "audio source" says "pass through to sound card", but the "audio source" box is grayed out and can't be changed. I am using an S-Video cable for the video from the VCR, and L/R audio to a stereo plug into my Line In on the motherboard. I can hear the audio during capture, but not playback. BTW, the only means I have at this point is to use Pinnacle Studio to capture, then export as an mpg. file to import into VideoStudio. Pinnacle gives me a choice in audio inputs. Why is VSX4 not allowing that?
View 8 Replies View RelatedI have CS3 and bought a CS5 upgrade. Both were loaded on my PC via the cd/dvd player. I am switching to a laptop that I bought without a CD/dvd player. I was able to copy the CS5 CD to a flash drive and load it fine. I was unsuccessful with CS3 so I can't use CS3 as an upgrade. How can I get CS5 to work after the 30 day grace period?

But the movie part stays in the same spot. The samething happens when I zoom in, it doesn't get any bigger. I can't get the part with the movie though. View 1 Replies View RelatedWhen I open channel A and click on the .avi file I want to watch in the RAM player nothing happens. However, once I rename the file .mpeg it works. This includes all .avi files not just the one I'm trying to work on at the moment. How I can play the .avi files in the RAM player since I don't want to have to convert to .mpeg every time I view a video. I'm using 3ds Max 10 on Vista 64.
PS. This seems to be an extension of problems I've been having in general with previewing my animations. Whenever I try to preview my Max animations as .avi files windows media player seems unable to recognize them. I tried changing the default player for .avi files to quicktime and vlc however max doesn't seem to recognize them. If I navigate to my preview folder though and open them from there I can play them in any player except for Windows Media which seems unable to recognize .avi's.
Whenever I have an open video file with GOM Player (my vide file player) Illustrator will casually crash upon opening, Illustartor would load completely and then just crash. The same thing would happen if Illustrator is open and I want to open a vide file - then GOM Player would crash, after trying to open the same video file, while Illustrator is open, GOM Player would play a black screen. Similarly, if GOM Player is open and I try to open Illustrator a few times at about the second or third try Illustrator will finally load.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have an SD Pioneer dvd player...model dv-49av. It plays all commercial DVD fine, but never a DVD I burn from VS. However, any DVD I burn from Corel plays perfectly in my Pioneer 23fd bluray player.
Anything I can do to change this? The disk type (-r, +r etc.) doesn't matter and the DVD that won't play plays fine on the computer. The disk loads fine, but when I select play the video or chapter it just locks up and I have to restart the player.
