When watching more (3 to 4) videos after one another, the video player just stops working.After a while (a minute or so) I get an error message: "There was an error working with the video".
The only way (so far) to get it to work again is to restart Windows.And then again, I can watch 3 to 4 videos before the problem occurs again.My computer runs 64-bit Windows 7 with 8GB RAM.

What happens.... In new installed VS X4 if i put a videofile on the timeline and go to SHARE >MAKING VIDEOFILE MENU....the computer breaks down, and gives the error: " VS X4 does not work anymore..... " and stops working, realy breaking down....
Have tryed it lots of times, it looks like at installing the program, the link to the output formats is not there and VS X4 does not now how to handle.....Yes I am going over to the professional software edius 6, but with a usermanual with 1000 pages i need studying at least one year on that....

Can still see video and edit it, but without hearing the words / background, editing will not be correct. Is there a bug in the software or some way of reseting the file? I have noticed a similar issue with videos in LR4.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI use the grid view to reorder photos then rename them so I have the corrrect sequence number for each image as part of the name. After I have been doing this for an hour or so (on various folders of images) Lightroom gives me an error message saying: "Reorder photos by dragging from within the grid view, not by dragging from another source". The images are not from multiple folders and I am gragging within the grid view same as I was doing moments before it simply stopped working. Subsequent attempts to drag are met simply with silence. No more error messages.

I am trying to import that filestructure to Lightroom, but after some thousand fotos the import-process just stops. Lightroom is still usable, the "import-progress-bar" shows the correct value (something below 50%) but import action is frozen.
I can shutdown the program and them try to restart them import, but it does not work.
When I then try to import the fotos "year by year" then it also has the same behaviour after some time...
Seems to me quite a bug for the sake of a photo-management-tool?
Started with LR5 CS6 CR8.1
Suddenly when a raw image has been porcessed by the Develop Module the (ctrl-E) 'open in Photoshop' command does not work for that image. It works for images that have not been 'developed'.
I have deleted LR preferences several times.
I have upgraded to LR5.2RC and CR8.2RC.
As far as I remember this catalog was new as LR5.
So, I've rendered my still images with iray, and opened them in RAM player. So far, so good. Video looks and plays great. But when I save the video file (no matter which format or compression I use) the end result is really dark. Like, I can barely see the animation dark.
I've attached images comparing the RAM player view and the resulting video in WMP.
On a side note, the reason I'm using RAM over other post editing software is that I only rendered every 5th frame for sake of time. In other software, the video is really choppy, but RAM player handles it beautifully.

It's always a lot of trouble to view videos in the pse video player because it cannot play most of them out of the box. It cannot be set in full screen. I would like a shortcut like the image one, edit in alternate editor. It would be view in alternate video player, I would use vlc and never bother with the embedded one.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI am using VideoStudio Pro X3 on my Windows XP Pro machine (see profile for specifics) to capture and edit video from my Canon Elura 100 MiniDV Camcorder. The problem I am having is that VS Pro X3 is stopping the capture during scene changes. It stops both the software and the camera. This does NOT happen on every scene change, but happens at differing times throughout the tape. It requires me to restart the capture from that scene forward. This happens regardless of whether or not I have the 'Split by Scene' option enabled. It is frustrating to have to sit through the entire tape restarting the capture at various scene changes. Previous tapes I have used Windows Movie Maker to capture the video. I have tried WMM to capture these tapes and it does work successfully without stopping at scene transitions. A related question is on Data Rate. The data rate listed under the properties menu in VS Pro X3 is almost 2x for the clips captured with VS Pro X3 vs the same clip captured with WMM while all other attributes are the same (including file size)?
View 4 Replies View RelatedUsing VideoStudio X4. I Have a JVC VHS unit which captures video perfectly fine. It's connected via firewire from the JVC unit into a firewire 2 adapter and into the iMac. However I also have a Sony 8mm playerGV - D800E unit which plays back via the preview pain on X4 fine, but as soon as you hit capture, it runs for 9 seconds and stops and it does capture 9 seconds of footage. I've run the Sony unit with other apps and it works fine. Just with X4 I have issues with. Tried switching between DVD (array of differnt setting) and DV (Type1 and 2) but with no luck.
I also tried connecting the Digital Sony 8MM player via a video capture device (Canopus ADVC110), same result. It captures video for 9 seconds, VS stops capturing, and the player continues and play's back on the viewer in VS.
After I've upgraded to OSX 10.8 Mountain Lion, I begin to see the following issue while trying to import .mts files from my Panasonic GH2 SD cards:
1. LR no longer sees individual files on the SD card. I know that this is because ML has decided to treat all AVCHD-related directories as packages and LR can no longer see the indivisual .mts files from the file system. However, Premier Pro CS6 CAN.
2. Even after copying the .mts files to an unrelated directory, LR is no longer able to import the files. I get the "There is a problem with the video file"
3. The .mts files I previously imported into LR 4.1 with Lion no longer plays inside LR. I see the thumbnail but if I attempt playback I get the "there was an error working with the video" error.
There obviously major compatibility issue with LR 4 and ML in relation to video files. I relies on LR for all my video file cataloging needs - now I am unable to do so. All of this was working just fine with Lion.

After opening and using photoshop cs6 for a few minutes I get a box popping up saying Adobe Photoshop CS6 has stopped working. "A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available." So far never received any notifications about a solution. I notice that it closes soon after I try a CTRL T to select an image.

View 9 Replies View RelatedCS4 OpenGL stops working after a few minutes of painting. It doesn't seem to have anything to do with the amount I paint. If I save the file, then reopen I can paint for another few minutes before the opengl stops working. Is this a standard problem with CS4? Is there a solution?

When I have made 5 HDR RAW pictures and want to combine them within CS6, the program Photoshop stops working. Why is this happening? What am I doing wrong? I juist follow the instructions of the book.

All I need to do to fix it is to restart photoshop and it works fine again (until the problem occurs again).But recently, this problem occurs ever 2 mins. I've just started a design I wanted to finish with quickly, and I actually restarted photoshop at least 20 times.
btw, the only other applications running while photoshop is are windows media player, NOD 32 , windows photo viewer, and some other folders, thats it.
For the last three versions of Photoshop the shortcut keys [ ] for brush size stops working. Why is this not fixed? The other shortcut that shows brush size in red.

I X3 stops working during the rendering process everytime I try to make a video file. I'm making a 4:3 mpeg 2 file (DVD). I have tried several different ways and the most I can get done is 24%. i have tried to cut out a clip..I get a dump file each time that it tells me to send to Corel.

I reloaded Video Studio Pro X3 which worked fine until I tried to save the edited video as a mpeg-4 HD (to be converted into an AVI later). It starts saving and then shut downs informing me to contact Corel and give them the data dump to figure out what the problem is. of course, i can not contact Corel who directed me to this forum. I did download and install the critical update but the same error occurs.
View 14 Replies View RelatedI do a heavy job about an into working on a comp my keyboard will stop working, every once in a while if I cmd + tab out of smoke and back into smoke it will do the same thing, but my mouse always works. The only way to really get the keyboard back to working is by rebooting the app. This is really embarrassing when you are doing supervised sessions and you have to reboot.
View 9 Replies View RelatedI've got a scene setup with a dummy wired to a helicopters proppelors. The dummy is animated from frame 0 to 130. And it is working fine. But as soon as I want to animate the dummy to frame 200 or so the propellors stop rotating from frame 130.

I'm a new GIMP user and, prior to this, my sole experience with a graphics program has been MS Paint. So be gentle.I am currently trying to make a logo. I have been using the Path tool to delete portions of the logo I don't want in the final picture. I used the Path tool several times, used "Select to path" to get a selection, then deleted the bits.
And there I am, merrily deleting away when alla the sudden, "Select to path" stops working. I make a closed-loop path, hit "Select to path", and...nada. No selection, nothing.
