VideoStudio :: Video Rendering Stops At 4% Complete
Apr 23, 2013I am using Video StudioPro X4 and rendering a video that is about 15 minutes when it stops at 4% complete, showing the following words: Cannot read audio (0x80004005). Other numbers on the message are: (18300:8000:192). Is there a way to know why it will not continue rendering and/or which audio files to check?

Jun 8, 2011I am trying to complete my first project in X3 with a new computer. I have done many projects on an older computer with VS 10. I X3 stops working during the rendering process everytime I try to make a video file. I'm making a 4:3 mpeg 2 file (DVD). I have tried several different ways and the most I can get done is 24%. i have tried to cut out a clip..I get a dump file each time that it tells me to send to Corel.

Nov 16, 2012While editing a large video file (one hour), the audio playback worked for a while, but then simply stopped working. Can still see video and edit it, but without hearing the words / background, editing will not be correct. Is there a bug in the software or some way of reseting the file? I have noticed a similar issue with videos in LR4.

Jun 23, 2012I have already more than 100 projects running under VS X4 it is problematic to jump to other software, also because of spending 2 years studying Corel VS.I have found now (2 years to late) the top very stable professional software with Edius 6.06.
What happens.... In new installed VS X4 if i put a videofile on the timeline and go to SHARE >MAKING VIDEOFILE MENU....the computer breaks down, and gives the error: " VS X4 does not work anymore..... " and stops working, realy breaking down....
Have tryed it lots of times, it looks like at installing the program, the link to the output formats is not there and VS X4 does not now how to handle.....Yes I am going over to the professional software edius 6, but with a usermanual with 1000 pages i need studying at least one year on that....

Mar 7, 2012When watching more (3 to 4) videos after one another, the video player just stops working.After a while (a minute or so) I get an error message: "There was an error working with the video".
The only way (so far) to get it to work again is to restart Windows.And then again, I can watch 3 to 4 videos before the problem occurs again.My computer runs 64-bit Windows 7 with 8GB RAM.

how another app can have focus before the mouse is clicked, Cmd+Tab can be used to switch between apps.
Revit :: 2012 Rendering Stops At 26%?
Jun 18, 2012Rendering at high quality, exterior sun only, 150 DPI and the image is about 9' tall x5' wide. Everything goes great until it hits 26%. Then the bar goes full on 100% but the image is only 26% rendered.
I have a 2gb video card, 4.1Ghz overclocked processor and about 8GB of RAM. Perhaps I havn't allocated enough memory to render an image of this size?
3ds Max :: Suddenly Stops Rendering After Certain Amount Of Frames?
Sep 26, 2012So I recently created a 350 frames long animation, which I then tried to render out as an .avi using the mental ray renderer.
I have it set up in the render setup to render from frame 0 - 350, I have also chosen the output format.
Everything seems to work fine and dandy, the frames are rendered out nicely but then all of a sudden after about 40-50 frames it just stops rendering. The little window containing the progress bar just seems to disappear and in the render preview window is a half rendered image.
I have tried redoing this 3 times, but every time it just stops rendering at about the same place. The first time it stopped at frame 43, the second time at frame 47 and the third time somewhere inbetween.

However whenever I click onto my new monitor, AE stops rendering and gives me the 'finished sound'. Why doesn't it complete rendering? I have to leave my computer alone and keep a window selected in AE for it to complete.

Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available." So far never received any notifications about a solution. I notice that it closes soon after I try a CTRL T to select an image.

I've just started a design I wanted to finish with quickly, and I actually restarted photoshop at least 20 times.
btw, the only other applications running while photoshop is are windows media player, NOD 32 , windows photo viewer, and some other folders, thats it.

Mar 21, 2011I am using VideoStudio Pro X3 on my Windows XP Pro machine (see profile for specifics) to capture and edit video from my Canon Elura 100 MiniDV Camcorder. The problem I am having is that VS Pro X3 is stopping the capture during scene changes. It stops both the software and the camera. This does NOT happen on every scene change, but happens at differing times throughout the tape. It requires me to restart the capture from that scene forward. This happens regardless of whether or not I have the 'Split by Scene' option enabled. It is frustrating to have to sit through the entire tape restarting the capture at various scene changes. Previous tapes I have used Windows Movie Maker to capture the video. I have tried WMM to capture these tapes and it does work successfully without stopping at scene transitions. A related question is on Data Rate. The data rate listed under the properties menu in VS Pro X3 is almost 2x for the clips captured with VS Pro X3 vs the same clip captured with WMM while all other attributes are the same (including file size)?

Dec 22, 2011Using VideoStudio X4. I Have a JVC VHS unit which captures video perfectly fine. It's connected via firewire from the JVC unit into a firewire 2 adapter and into the iMac. However I also have a Sony 8mm playerGV - D800E unit which plays back via the preview pain on X4 fine, but as soon as you hit capture, it runs for 9 seconds and stops and it does capture 9 seconds of footage. I've run the Sony unit with other apps and it works fine. Just with X4 I have issues with. Tried switching between DVD (array of differnt setting) and DV (Type1 and 2) but with no luck.
I also tried connecting the Digital Sony 8MM player via a video capture device (Canopus ADVC110), same result. It captures video for 9 seconds, VS stops capturing, and the player continues and play's back on the viewer in VS.

Nov 16, 2012I have the Creative Suite cs5.1 student version (had it for about a year now), and now recently I have started to encounter a strange bug with Photoshop.
Sometimes when I have been working in PS for a while and then open another file, the photoshop starts acting weird, resulting in the file looking like this: [URL] .....
And if I try to paint anything, it will look pixelated like in this file: [URL] .... and if I use ctrl+z after painting the paint just looks like this: [URL]...... the 2 last named effects will also apply for any images opened before this occurrence, and it happens for any file type.
I have checked my video card drivers, and they are up to date, so that's not a problem (My graphics card is ATI Radeon 5700 series). I've also run a throughout virus scan with Norton without it finding anything.

Nov 30, 2012When I double-click a file it will open the file in CS6 version 13.0.1, but then after a while double-clicking will no longer open jpeg or raw files. I can open the same files by going to File > Open in the Menu Bar.
When I am simply opening downloaded files from my camera, I can open 200-300 by double-clicking with no problems. However, at times when I am working on an image, it is not long before I can't open a file by double-clicking. It will open a blank Photoshop window, but without any Toolbar or Menu Bars.
This happens on a regular basis. Sometimes, also, Photoshop is slow to Quit, for no apparent reason.
