I have video studio 7 SE DVD. When I capture edit and share my file and burn it to DVD, the picture looks fat and stretched whenplayed on a widescreen TV.
I have played around with some of the properties and setting on the program but everything I do has the same effect.
I can have the TV set to 4.3 and the picture is fine but of course I have the black bars on each side.
Is there a way to have it show correctly on the widescreen TV without affecting the quality?
I dont mind if it cut some of the picture out as in top and bottom, I just want to keep the picture the right ratio without stretching it to fit.
My video camera I am using is a DV cam. I think it might be half the problem as it records in 4.3 format and is playing on a 16.9 TV.
At my office we have 4 work computers connected to a server with all the projects and other information there. Is there a way to use the server some how to use all the computers to render an image?
How can I connect two computers in sync with the Autodesk 360? So when you change the properties of an item element in one computer to another feature of the modified element synchronized.
I have produced a MP4 video using Magic VideoDeluxe. I can read it properly with VLC.
I can import it in a visual studio pro x5 project. The problem is that when I play it in Video Studio environment, some sequences are replayed twice and it happens that I see video artifacts.
Is it due to the codec? I have downloaded (and bought) VideoStudio last week, so I think it is not necessary to download the patch provided on the website.

I made a dvd video on elements 7 (wmv) but it will not play on a dvd player. If I upgrade to elements 11 will it allow me to burn a dvd that will be a different format to be played on a dvd player?
I've tried everything I can think of to get the audio to playback after capturing from a VHS tape, but can't figure it out. I can hear the audio output from my sound card during capture, but playback has no audio. I noticed in the Video Properties box of the Options menu in Capture that the "audio source" says "pass through to sound card", but the "audio source" box is grayed out and can't be changed. I am using an S-Video cable for the video from the VCR, and L/R audio to a stereo plug into my Line In on the motherboard. I can hear the audio during capture, but not playback. BTW, the only means I have at this point is to use Pinnacle Studio to capture, then export as an mpg. file to import into VideoStudio. Pinnacle gives me a choice in audio inputs. Why is VSX4 not allowing that?
In LR4 when I burn my slideshow video to a USB and play on my TV, the slideshow works fine but the mp3 music skips during transitions. Played on the PC music is fine. I am using 'fit to music'
I just purchased and installed Photoshop CS6 on my Windows laptop which had CS4 extended. Can I also install this Photoshop CS6 on my Mac which has CS3 extended?
clarify if I am allowed to install X5 pro on 2 computers? Like I did with X4 en versions before? I noted that X5 ask registration to use the Core Guide, Do More, Get More, etc feature. What will happen in the case of a Windows re-installation - do I need to register again?
I've installed CS4 & Lightroom as an upgrade to CS3 on my XP desktop. Is it possible to use the same disks to install CS4 & Lightroom on my Vista laptop (no CS3 & Lightroom installed)?
I have the same photoshop installed on both my laptop and desktop. How i was working on an image on my desktop, saved it on usb to take away with me nd opened it up on my laptop, and now all the colours are completely different shades.
I am currently using AI CS3 in my home office to design images. I have to download the images to a external harddrive, take down to my laser work station and upload the images onto my other pc and open them with inkscape to send it to my laser to cut out. Can AI be loaded on two computers? I know when I purchased AI it said one computer only, but it's not like I have a business where multiple designers will be using it.
I'm presently using LR4 on an iMac (Machintosh HD) with back-ups going to and external HD. I want to purchase a MBP to use in the field and use two external HDs only instead of the Mac HD. The .lrcat and .lrdata would be on the EHD only.
I am about to change computers from an XP to a new Vista based system. I also recently purchased the upgrade to CS4 but haven't yet installed on the XP system. I will appreciate help in how to get my Photoshop and Lightroom 2 programs over to the new system.
how subassemblies work, vis a vis pkt files & all the files created in the ProgramData folder (.atc, .cfg, .dll, .emd, .pvd, .xaml, pdb)? Here's our situation:
A user will make a subassembly, save it locally. The subassembly is used in a corridor. A different user tries to access this file: the subassembly is there (shows in plan), but the parameters are empty and that part of the assembly doesn't run. The subassembly doesn't appear in the Tool Pallet. You do get a .NET error when trying to look at the subassembly.
How we fix this is to open up the C:ProgramDataAutodeskC3D 2013enuImported Tools folder on the computer which made the subassembly, copy everything, and paste it into the other computer's C:ProgramDataAutodeskC3D 2013enuImported Tools folder. How/why doesn't the drawing which has the subassembly in it just work?? And moving forward, how can we share drawings with custom subassemblies? Remap everyone's .net search path to a network drive?
I am a student, when at school my drawing looks perfect. When I get home my text looks like it has been enlarged. I have checked all the sizes and have annotative turned off. I assume this has to be some setting that I have selected on my home computer but I can't find anything.
I drafted some point features with 0 degrees angle in one computer. When i check in another computer in same drawing for that features those are showing with 5.579 degrees angle. I expected that some system variable maybe change in that computer. which variable i need to change? If this is not related to system variable how to change this angle.
I have a problem with loading a dll file I created with Visual Express 2010. We are using this VB-project in the company for a year now and we have never had a problem with it. But now we do.
The dll is loaded with the use of the Autoloader. For me it is a nice way to load dll and lisp files everybody needs at startup. This is the xml code
Like I said, all went well untill I tried to install another copy of Autocad on another computer. The lisp-files are loading fine on this pc but the dll-file is not loading. When I try to load it with netload everything is ok so the dll should be allright.
Like all other pc's it is a Windows 7 64bit pc and nothing is different form those other pc's. So I really don't know where to look for the problem, let alone the solution.
I tried everything like renaming the dll (no spaces), trying to load the dll only, also loading from the programdata folder instead of the programfiles(x86) folder.
I am opeing a coworkers files in Illustrator, we both have the same version of illustrator (CS6) and the same fonts installed, but for some reason they're displaying differently on my computer than on his.
They're not missing - I didn't get an error when I opened the files, and highlighting the text doesn't give me a Font Family with an asterisk after it like it would if it were missing. So it seems like they should be working fine, and they sort of are. Anything in Franklin Gothic Demi seems to be Franklin Gothic Demi, for example, but the pt size, leading, tracking - all that sort of thing seems to be off.
How can i migrate a folder with all the edited images in it to a different machine, i did some work on my laptop while traveling and now i would like to migrate it all back to my main machine.

When using lightroom on my PC I download the images to an external hard drive. When I am away from home can I use lightroom on my laptop and down load images to the same external hard drive and process them and have lightroom on the PC locate them when I return home.
Id like some tips on how to manage my catalogues so that i can use them on diferent machines. Im happy to keep all the images on external drive and have LR catalogues and cache files in a folder on that drive too. Can i just plug the drive into another machine running another copy of LR?
