I would like to be able to shade certain rooms on a floor plan but still be able to read the text underneath.
Just a pale pastel shade on say the bathroom would be grand.
Is there any plugins to shade text, or make it 3d?
View 7 Replies View RelatedMy daughter in law who is Vietnamese took some photo's and downloaded the Jpeg files onto my pen drive.
When I transferred these files to my hard in the UK, I found that the photo's would not open. Looking at the properties, it showed every Jpeg photo was in in "Read only format" and contained 0 bytes. The hole folder contained 544 M bytes of photo's. I then deleted the shaded out part of the "Read only" file and pressed OK, but this did not allow the file to be read.
I then tried to open the photo's in Paint Shop X4 and this was a success.
A few days later I tried to re access the Jpeg photo's and again, but I cannot open the Jpeg files with or without X4. (working with Widows Home Premium)
In printing a top view of a stacked assembly. How can you set it up so the top part is opaque to the part underneath it.
Example: I have a cylinder actuator on actuator layer on top of that I have mounted a switch box on switch box layer. When I print I want to see the top of the switch box and only see the areas of the actuator that are not covered by the switch box.

Recently, when I have tried to paint on PSE, the paint layers on underneath previous strokes I've made. In addition to this, the opacity seems to be rather strange, sometimes changing the area above the new paint stroke to a completely new color while other times it is just as if it were at 100% opacity. Is this a certain setting so that the paint layers on normally?

View 2 Replies View RelatedWhat i do is use the direct selection tool and click an anchor and then click the eyedropper tool on that anchor point What is happening is the the outline color is being selected. So i found out Illustrator CS6 you have to hold shift while clicking the eyedropper. I tried that and still can't get the color of the underneath layer, the fill color stays white? Here is pic:
As you can see in the navigator window, the shade of red is that of the outline and not the apple underneath the outline. I tried shift+eyedropper and white is the only color that get's sampled.
I am working on creating a banner for a website and I am looking to use a couple colors from which is included on a jpeg that is provided for me, its been forever since ive tried creating anything and i wonder is there some way i can take the colors from the jpeg to use in my own color palette .

View 4 Replies View RelatedWith the burn tool one can use it several ways. The direct way is to just click on the tool and select whether you want highlights, mid-tones, or shadows. Each option changes the burn shade slightly. Also there are a host of blend modes which again changes the burn shade.
One can also create a burn layer and change blend modes, all with different effects. Then you can also use the brush tool and select color burn or color dodge, with the foreground color changing the shade of the burn.So all of these options give a great deal of control, but frankly I am just burned out on the process.
All I want is to have the burn deepen the color to more closely match the color in the shadows of the picture. It seems to work better on flesh and soft colors than on bright colors. In those cases I give up and resort to a brush in normal mode with color selected by eyedropper. But that can make the image more muddy as it covers up rather than intensify.
So wilh all the man-years of experience out there is there a more simple way to get the correct burn shade than going though 49 different variations? Or should I just stick with the brush and use a different blend mode?
Is there a feature in photoshope that allows to put a shade under a written text. For example something like the shade under the big Google word on their site, which gives a kind of three dimensionality to the text.

When i opened my ai file into ps, it converted the lines into pixels, how do i maintain the vector lines as shown in the link above?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have been playing around with the exporting options to a JPEG file (such as low sharpening, high sharpening, etc.). However I did not track what I was doing diligently as I assumed I could "read" it later. For example, a particular picture has 4 exports several minutes apart. I can line up each export based on exported name and time stamp. But I can't tell what options I selected during the exporting process. Is there a way to find out what export options I selected for a particular export? No other develop changes were made, just playing around with the export options.
