View 1 Replies View RelatedI am working in C3D 2013 creating a new "clean" template and continue to have the problem of the view cube east and west getting flipped. I've had this problem occasionally in the past and by editing the GEOGRAPHICLOCATION seemed to solve this. Generally I noticed the "z" coordinate setting would flip from a "+" to a "-" thus causing the "e" & "w" swap. My problem is that this is no longer a permanent fix. Every time I open the dwg I am have to edit the GEOGRAPHICLOCATION.
I know I could just turn off the view cube and pretend I never saw this issue but I'm worried this may cause other problems when it comes to coordinates and survey data.

I am currently working on a project and i created a land plot and set each level line to the proper elevation but not all of the level lines appear in every view. In the North view all of the level lines and the walls i have created appear, but the walls don't show up in any of the other views. Also the North, West, and South views show all of the level lines but the East view does not.

Up until now, I've been using Paint.NET as my main paint program. It worked well enough but had a few specific limitations that forced me to request the company I work for to purchase Photoshop CS2, which they did. In fact, the IT dept just finished installing it.
I'd like to have a single text layer with multiple instances of text, but everytime I go to add additional text, CS2 "conveniently" creates a new layer for me. Is there any way to tell CS2 to "Stop that!" and let me create as many individual instances of text on one layer as I want? I am labeling buildings/roadways on aerial photos and don't need to have 40-50 text layers per photo.
How do I create multiple lines of text in a single layer. Everytime I finish with a line and want to go to the next, I hit 'Enter', but that completes the text. If I click on the layer image again, then it creates another layer.
So basically if I have 10 lines of text, I end up with 10 layers of text as well. Needless to say, this becomes to much trouble if I have to center each line of text and add blending options to 10 layers instead of one.
I would like to know how to change the colour of a single layered, single coloured gradient (foreground to transparent) image. There is nothing more to it than that other than I don't want to use the hue/saturation adjustment as it's hard to get a specific colour.

CAD only asks me the rotation angle of text and then blinking cursor appears. If I type something, text gets so small it's almost invisible. Only option for me now is to scale but it takes too much time and too many clicks to get my text to wanted size. Why AutoCAD doesn't ask me for the height?

The image was saved as a .jpg so it got anti-aliased and the black outline & background instead of being 2 shades (one for the background, one for the outline) became many shades. Aside from the painstakingly long process of erasing all background pixels and replacing it, yet again with all the same shade, is there another, perferably easier and faster method of doing this.

And to get a finer shade of grey/colour within the hue of grey/colour you're working with, click on the little arrow (top right of Color palette) and open up the drop down menu and select Current Color. This will give you a finer palette of grey/colour saturation to work with.

Suppose I've got a blob of uniform color. I want to make it pop out a little 3D. How do I make shade on one side in a curved manner (that is, it gets gradually darker as you move from the interior of the blob to the edge). Also, how do I add light in the same manner or as a condensed reflective/glittering spot. I also have some circles I'd like to make into spheres with a similar technique. How do you make spheres out of circles in regards to shading and light?
View 3 Replies View RelatedI need to change the style of my single text, not Mtext, but just text on AutoCAD 2011. If I try to edit Mtext then the Ribbon on the top of Cad changes to Text Editor and allows me to modify the text as I require. However when I click into single text all that happens is the text becomes highlight and I no longer get the option to change the style or font. What toolbar or option is missing so I can get it back as normal.

View 3 Replies View RelatedHave been making stuff in corel x5 for a cnc. I recently added text to a design, and the text appears to be a solid, single path. However, when I run my machine, the machine goes around the BORDER of the text, instead of just making a single pass over the text. Instead of just cutting the text in one path, it cuts around the border and the pieces fall from the material I am working on.
How can I change this? I dont want my machine to pass around the inside and outside of simple text, I only need 1 pass.
