I was going through an exercise and tried to use one of the listed shortcuts to viewing (Alt+LMB+click) and it made the Maya workarea screens dark grey. My attempted efforts to find out how to undo this failed.
Not sure if I mis-typed the above or what. Only the work areas are dark gray.
Is there anyway I can undo "add to shape area" effect. I am not talking about the case where I can go back with step backward. I am talking the case where I have saved my work, closed Ps, reopen it, and then undoing the "add to shape area" effect.
There is an area of my face that is a little darker because of a pimple scar or something. So its a dark pink/red, and i want to make it lighter to match the rest of my face. How can i do this?
Currently I used the < and > keys to scrub through my keyframes when animating. However maya seems to count this as an action, so when I hit undo, maya also goes through all the times I pressed the < and > keys too. Is there a way I can use the shortcut keys < and > to scrub through my timeline keyframes without maya taking this into account whenever I do an undo.
I am trying to mask out a light source in a complex figure. I have just upgraded from PSE 11 -> 12, but I doubt that is the problem. I thought the clone stamp tool in Editor was simply not working. When I'd drag (after setting a source) over the bright area, it would darken where I dragged.
From experience it seemed like it was marking the area it was going to modify - but this turned out to be the extent of the modification. It just stayed dark. Following other discussions, I adjusted my depth of history to ease RAM footprint, restarted Editor, and rebooted my Mac (OSC 10.9). I also twiddled with all the options under Clone Overlay. I could see the effects, but they did not fix the issue. When I try the Clone Stamp tool elsewhere, it does what I expect.
I'm suspecting pilot error, but don't know what else to try.
Sometimes I switch back and forth between images while working on them. If I use Ctrl-Z to undo changes it will jump back to the previous image and start undoing changes there (if I made changes in that order). Is there a way to make it stay on the current image and undo changes made before switching images? If not, that would be a useful feature.
When i import the skinned mesh from Maya (v2013) to Unity (v3.3) in FBX format, it becomes dark - the object is lighten only in the middle (by the directional light). There is no problem like this, when i import the same mesh, but not skinned to the joints.I tried all options of skinning (Smooth Bind, Rigid Bind), all settings of export to FBX,- no change.
The meshes are imported to Unity differently: in the the skinned mesh object, the mesh component is attached to the main joint object, and in the not-skinned mesh object - to the mesh object.
The dark mesh can be lighten with several directional lights, but then it's colors are uneven and they flicker when the object animates.
I think it'd be so cool to be able to replay your entire undo history of a picture, so you can see and show others how you proceeded on a picture you made. That way, it's never necessary to capture screen video for like 10 hours and stuff..
So first you'd need to add an option to save the undo history (so that you always keep the history from when you started). Then you'd need an option to playback the undo history.
I have a problem understanding how undo marks are added to the undo stack. In the code below a fan of lines are draw in a random location. If you run MTest a few times, the AutoCAD Undo command will remove the fans one at a time.
If you run MMulti to draw 10 fans, the AutoCAD Undo command will remove all the fans in a single step.I want to be able to remove the fans one at a time.I thought that a StartTransaction / Commit pair would act as markers for the undo stack, but this isn't working.
Tested on AutoCAD 2010 VS 2008 <CommandMethod("MMult")> _ Sub testmult() Dim i As Integer For i = 1 To 10 Call testdraw() Next End Sub [code]....
The basic premise is that I've built a grid of 100x100 tiles and aim constrained them to a locator. Now I'm wondering if I could somehow attach an "area of effect" to the locator so that only the closest tiles aim at the locator and the rest lay unchanged?
I cannot see my photo in my display/work area when I open one, what could be causing this? It displays that a photo is open in my layers panel, but I can see nothing on my screen.
Sometimes when I work on a complex design project, I've notice that after I save and re-open my file, some of my work area was rasterize and uneditable.
I recently upgraded from PSE9 to PSE12. I've noticed that once I'm deep into a many layered project that I can't click on a specific layer in the work area but need to click on the layer I want to work on in the layers palette. Is this something new in PSE12 or do I need to change something in Preferences?
I just downloaded PSP 13...I can't put a few photos on the work space....I only see one photo at a time and when I move a photo I see the checkered area and not the other photos...at the top left I see the photo names and i can click on them and the photo appears but only one at a time...around each photo I always had an area where I could see the X at the top right , click on it and the photo would leave...but now it's hard to see where the X is...
Is there a way to report the total internal area for a building ? As in - the total area of a building up to the internal face of the external wall (including all internal partitions and walls).
We can use the Gross Building Area - but this includes the external walls - and doesn't update as the external wall envelope is added to. Ideally we would like a like reporting on the total internal area as the design / model is progressed.
while tracing a plan on Autocad 2010, by accident I clicked on something, or performed some unknown commands. My lines, that were smooth just seconds before, suddenly became really pixelated, as if made of many small segments. And when rendering the plan on pdf, it is still the same, and the lines are really thick. I have checked, the line thickness is on default (0.25mm), but compared to renderings I've done before, this time the drawing has really awful lines.
Is it possible to change the color of the work area, in PhotoShop Elements 10, from dark grey to light grey. And....maybe do a contrasting Font color for the Toolbar ?
I upgraded to elements 11, and am having a great deal of difficulty seeing the icons, with the 3 different colors of gray and light blue icons.it is all running together and taking a long time to find things. PSE9 did not have this issue. I was able to change the background area only.can we custom the colors, or is their a app that will let us.
Is there a way to make PS X4 open up images the way it did in older versions... i.e. each image opens up as a stand alone floating box so I can have them side by side? (See attached image)
Is there a way to return the work area bar to automatic after you move it manually? I know about the alt-click to expand to teh entire work area but that is not returng it to the auto mode.
My friend has taken some engagement photographs and unfortunately the couple have dark hair and the background is also dark - I think you can see her problem with the photos. Somehow the background needs to be lightened and neither of us know how (we both have Photoshop 7)
Been working with PSE11 for a few months. Yesterday it developed a problem. I can no longer click on the layer in the main work area but have to go to the layer panel to select it. What do I need to do to change this back to where it works like it should??
I'm considering a purchase of the Autodesk Creative Suite (specifically for Maya), and purchasing new hardware in conjuction. Does Maya 2013 work with Windows 8, or do I need to purchase Win7 or lower?
