How can I use multiple export presets in a single step. After I am done editing, I like to export my RAW images as JPG in 4-5 different resolutions and sizes. Currently, this means having to use the export dialog for each preset. Can I do this in a single step by grouping the presets or something?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm using Lightroom3 version 3.6. I made all my cropping adjustments, exposure, sharpening and noise reduction adjustments. Also added LR presents like sepia tone, black and white, bleach bypass. on several of my photo's. Then I selected all photos, clicked on export button, and saved them in a folder on desktop. All of the LR presents are visible in LR and they look great. However, when I open the saved folder on my desktop....all the photos are not edited. None of the presets or crops took.

In Library>Application Support> Adobe> Lightroom>Presets>Export .. there is ONLY User. No 'Lightroom.'
I am using a Sony Alpha 99V camera, but it is not detected on Lightroom 5, however, it appears in the compatible cameras list.

Because I use the presets to re-size images for my 40 odd web sites, this is really inconvenient. Can this behaviour be changed so that the preset remembers the selected folder? And if not could it be considered as an option for the next update?

Yes, I am so afraid of all the talk I hear about LR 4 being slow (it DID slowed down from 2 to 3) that I still work in 3.6 It is no longer showing/updating my export presets (see left column). Whether I add folders from the OS or from withing LR, they are not visible. If I select them in FOLDER CHOOSE (see right side of the screen shot), then it will export them properly to the right folder but I have no way to UPDATE FOLDER WITH CURRENT SETTINGS.

My problem is always the same: I can't walk through "protected override SamplerStatus Sampler" method by single step debugging. If a Break Point inside this overritten method is reached, a new tab "No source available" is shown and debugging stops.

I'd like to export images with different aspect ratios for target devices, ie iPad, Android phone, 16:9 TV, etc. What would be really great is if I can select a named "crop setting" in the export window and generate JPGs based on the chosen setting. I've searched all over the place, all seem to talk about presets, virtual copies, etc, which really doesn't address what I want.

Fundamentally I'd like to be able to save a handful of crop settings (unique crops but with common names) for each image. I will create the crops manually as I have to pick the position and size for each carefully. For example, on a 4000x6000 image I have these crop settings (for a fairly small area of the image):

1. iPad [settings: top-left coordinate (500,500), ratio 4:3, width2000]
2. Android [settings: top-left coordinate (500,400), ratio 8:5, width 2400]
3. HDTV [settings: top-left coordinate(500,450), ratio 16:9, width 2200]

As you can see each crop is different becasue I want to be precise about how the cropped outputs look. Then at export time, I want to be able to multi-select a bunch of images and pick say "iPad" crop setting to create the JPGs in a batch.

Is there a custom plugin outside of Lightroom that can handle this?
Is there a way to customize menus or add buttons to the control bar to make repetitive operations single step. Thinking specifically of adding an import button somewhere (similar to PS Elements 2) in which the current scanning settings are stored. Presently it takes about 6 steps through the menu to accomplish this.Â

They are still in develop presets but there not showing up and Ive tried deleting them and adding them again then closing out of lightroom 4 and going back in but I can not seem to get them to show up again. I STILL don't understand why there are TWO comminty forums for Lightroom;
How do i export a .iam to STEP or STP or IGES without the three being expordted? i dont want the costumers to be able to see the anything in the three but 1 file (base1 or something).
What i do today is, i make a new part and derive the .iam file and then export it to step but this is getting hard to do when you have many .iam files.
I am trying to export a dwg to STEP in inventor 2013.
The exprort to STEP tab is greyed out and can't be clicked on.

The issue is that the script overrides each image once it's saved. How can I run the image editing part of the script, and then insure that each file is being exported seperatly with a different name? Should I have not recorded the export part of the script?

Where the edge of the top layer of text ends there is a step made in the color bars that shouldn't be there (see attached). I tried grouping first but the step is worse.

View 4 Replies View RelatedIn my company we work with quite large assemblies, a small project im working on now, contains 527 documents with a total of 3088 occurrenses. Our customers often request STEP files which is a real pain for us to create.
Usually we have to start exporting the assembly at closing time and let the computer work over night, and the product is often a file in the 200mb range, which is too heavy to handle via e-mail, and also takes a lot of time to import to other CAD software.
Using the Task Scheduler is not an option since our file server isnt compatible and refuses to let go of files unless they are checked out manually.
I am trying to export step files from Inventor 2012 into Surfcam. Any files that were created in Inventor translate over as solids. Files that I have imported from step files, recognized features, modified and exported again come into Surfcam as Nurb surfaces. I also tried using Inventor 2013 with the same results.
I've never experienced this problem with earlier versions of Inventor.
