Lightroom :: Presets And Cropping Adjustments Won't Export?

I'm using Lightroom3 version 3.6. I made all my cropping adjustments, exposure, sharpening and noise reduction adjustments. Also added LR presents like sepia tone, black and white, bleach bypass. on several of my photo's. Then I selected all photos, clicked on export button, and saved them in a folder on desktop. All of the LR presents are visible in LR and they look great. However, when I open the saved folder on my desktop....all the photos are not edited. None of the presets or crops took.

setting up presets for making adjustments to more than one image, I keep hearing about doing that by way of the "quick develop" panel, but I don't like that panel... its a bit too basic or something... I don't like making settings where I can't see a bit more about what I'm doing.
Is there a way to create presets when in the Develope mode? I don't see any clues on the the basic panel, but hopefully I'm missing something. Is there not a way to record the settings I've made inside the basic panel into a preset?

I'm having a problem exporting a DNG file as an original or as DNG with adjustments. All the exports is the original DNG file. I do get a clean export with adjustments when I export to jpg.
here's the details: software is lightroom 4.1 and camera raw 7.1. File was NEF converted to DNG on import. numerous adjustment to tone, w/brushes, etc. xmp written to file. tried dng export preset as well as through the export module. exported to various versions of camera raw. all with no luck. opened in CS 5 and Preview, with the same results: no adjustments to DNG.
I have won a free high-end print and the printer says DNG will be better.

I'm not sure if this has been reported yet? I have noticed that adjustments to images in LR4 are not being retained on Export.
Specifically, an image appearing to be correctly exposed after adjustments and while still in Lightroom 4, appears brighter and lacking in shadow adjustments on Export and uploading to facebook. My guess is that shadow adjustments have been lost on Export?

I've seen a procedure for LR4, but it doesn't work for LR5 (the LR4 procedure involved right clicking the preset to save from a context menu after making edits to the existing preset).

I recently reformatted my computer and I just realized that I lost all of my export presets even though I copied the catalog over. I've searched Finder in the all the usual places that Adobe programs store user data but I can't find them. where I can find my export presets to copy to my new home folder?

Mac OS X 10.7.4, Lightroom 4.1. File>Export Presets has two groups: Lightroom and User.
Under 'Lightroom' there are a number of duplicated items which I would like to delete (cleanup).
In Library>Application Support> Adobe> Lightroom>Presets>Export .. there is ONLY User. No 'Lightroom.'

When I create an export preset and then return later to use it, the folder for saving it to has changed (to whatever I used last. Because I use the presets to re-size images for my 40 odd web sites, this is really inconvenient. Can this behaviour be changed so that the preset remembers the selected folder? And if not could it be considered as an option for the next update?

How can I use multiple export presets in a single step. After I am done editing, I like to export my RAW images as JPG in 4-5 different resolutions and sizes. Currently, this means having to use the export dialog for each preset. Can I do this in a single step by grouping the presets or something?

LR 3.6, Win 7 ultimate 64 bit. Yes, I am so afraid of all the talk I hear about LR 4 being slow (it DID slowed down from 2 to 3) that I still work in 3.6 It is no longer showing/updating my export presets (see left column). Whether I add folders from the OS or from withing LR, they are not visible. If I select them in FOLDER CHOOSE (see right side of the screen shot), then it will export them properly to the right folder but I have no way to UPDATE FOLDER WITH CURRENT SETTINGS.

I am trying to create some export presets, but LR wont allow me to create any that export to Hard Drive. They all change when I hit "Add" to Email. I go and try to update with current settings, but they all keep reverting to Email and not Hard Drive.

We have a bunch of shots taken using natural light - the shots all have completely different exposure and white balance adjustments.
Now that the shots feel like they've been shot at the same time of day (and on the same day) we'd like to start adjusting the white balance accross multiple shots - but use the current white balance/exposure from each individual shot as the starting point - not reset the adjustments.
Kind of like baking the current settings or making adjustments on top of current adjustments - or make new adjustments relative to the current adjustments.

I am having trouble getting my presets to show up under presets on the left hand side of the screen. They are still in develop presets but there not showing up and Ive tried deleting them and adding them again then closing out of lightroom 4 and going back in but I can not seem to get them to show up again. I must have hit something but there not showing up again

I have recenty had to reinstall all my software, and manged to find most of my old Lightroom settings in the Lightroom Presets folder (inside the Appdata folder on a PC) but I seem to have lost my custom tone curves.
Do you know which folder they should be in (indise the Lightroom Presets folder)

I've got a 2x8 (wide) grid of artboards, and would like to export all of them to a single PNG as they appear. Unfortunately, Illustrator (CS6) is cropping the edges of the PNG to the objects in the artboards, rather than to the edges of the outer artboards. Is there some way to change this behaviour?
I've tried creating an unstroke, unfilled object that encompasses all of the artboards, but Illustrator seems to be ignoring it in the export (presumably because it's not printed).

My issue is that I have a number of presets-brushes, tools, actions, workspace setup, etc, that allow me to have speed and focus on getting the job done. I also work with a wacom tablet, and although that is 3rd party, I need know that photoshop is set up to maximize the brush sensitivity of the tablet.
Is there a way for me to export my settings from one machine to another? And a way for them to revert back to thier own after I finish?

When trying to print in Elements 11, after clicking "Print/Page Setup/Presets/Show Presets", the box freezes. Clicking Cancel or OK does not work. I then have to Force Quit Elements to clear it. Apple say that it is a problem with Elements. Using the same procedure in other applications, clicking Cancel or OK does work.

I don´t know why, but suddenly there seems to be no way, I can get edit in PS with LR adjustments. There used to be an options box in LR when selecting "edit in Photoshop". Now I get no options, and my adjustments from LR does not show in PS. I have tried both the tiff and PSD setting in preferences/external editing, but no luck. I have also used the "Reset Warnings" in LR, hoping this would bring back the external edit dialog box, but no luck.
as I have a lot of urgent work to do, and I go back and forth between LR and PS a lot.

I have recently opened a LR catalog from an external hard drive connected to a new mac pro. All the 'user templates' are there and all the images in each respective collection, although I had to re-connect them as the originals had moved to a new external hard drive but... most (not all), but most of the images I had adjusted in 'Develop' have gone. Most of the images I made a virtual copy of before adjusting have reverted back to the original raw image without the adjustments.
If I have to start all over again from scratch or is there a magic 'LR Develop adjustments' file I haven't transfere to the new laptop and hard drive?

Are the modifications that you make during development added consecutively as you make each one or are they all added up and applied once at the end?
In other words: say I have a RAW file, well exposed, but it's flat and boring. So I choose to knock the whole thing down 1 eV in exposure. Then I use the adjustment brush and add 1 eV to just my subject. Is my subject essentially untouched as to exposure, or has the subject been brought down and taken back up and thus would have some inherent noise and whatnot?
And does the same apply for adjustments other than exposure, like clarity or tint?

I am using LR4 and PS-CS5. I just upgraded to LR-4 but now when I select an image to edit in PS, the LR adjustments have been stripped. I have looked at preferences and menu items but cannot find how I can change this.

I have reinstalled LR4.1 to the new hard drive on my computer. Had to import all the images again, and all my LR adjustments seems gone? Mapping, keywords, rating, development adjustments etc... The old catalogues are on the new hard drive. How can I get LR to find my ajustments? Or do I have to do it all over again :S ?

When I use send an image from LR to PS using "Edit in..." Only some of the LR adjustments show up in PS. (E.g. color adjustments are visible while crop and exposure are not). All versions (LR, PS, ACR) are the newest. I am on mac OSX 10.9.1.
