View 3 RepliesWhen I create an export preset and then return later to use it, the folder for saving it to has changed (to whatever I used last. Because I use the presets to re-size images for my 40 odd web sites, this is really inconvenient. Can this behaviour be changed so that the preset remembers the selected folder? And if not could it be considered as an option for the next update?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have recenty had to reinstall all my software, and manged to find most of my old Lightroom settings in the Lightroom Presets folder (inside the Appdata folder on a PC) but I seem to have lost my custom tone curves.
Do you know which folder they should be in (indise the Lightroom Presets folder)
I STILL don't understand why there are TWO comminty forums for Lightroom;
I have attempted to upload to Behance using the LR5 Behance plugin with the following settings:
1. Format: JPEG
2. Color Space: sRGB
3. Limit File Size to 4000k (Behance limits to 50 mg)
4. Resize to Fit: 31.0 megapixels (Behance limits is 32 mpx)
5. Resolution: 72
On each attempt to upload, Behance informs me that I have exceeded the megapixels size of 32 mpx
I have attempted the same saving instead to my desktop. When I attempt to upload from the desktop to Behance, I receive the same error message.
I seem to have a bug in my Lightroom 5.3 program in that I am no longer able to export photos either to my desktop or to a portable stick. I'm now getting the following message each time I try to export any photos.Unable to Export. An internal error has occurred. WIN32 API error 2 (" The system cannot find the file specified").
View 1 Replies View Relatedinstalling Camera raw presets from USB Stick. I am attempting to install the Camera Raw Presets. It says to put them into User Name/ Library/Application Support/ Adobe/CameraRaw/Settings...When I get to CameraRaw the ONLY folders in there are Camera Profiles & Lens Profiles. I have searched everywhere looking for a CameraRaw-Settings folder and cannot find one. I have latest version of Camera Raw installed and still no settings folder. I even attempted to find it by looking in camera raw where it has saved the custom settings I made as presets and it shows that they are saved but will not show me where. I am using CS5 specifically Photoshop v12.0.4 and Bridge. I have Lightroom 4. I have iMac OS 10.7.3...Do I need to reinstall Camera Raw and how do you do that? Will I then lose my presets that I made in CameraRaw?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI had a folder with a lot of presets in Lightroom 5. When I start the program I only see the Lightroom presets and a couple of presets I made earlier. I started all the backups I made since Lightroom 5 but none starts with the bundle of presets I want. Is there something I can do to start the program again with all my presets? By the way, I see all the presets-names I made in the Lightroom-presets map (in the folder Develop-presets more specified).
View 3 Replies View RelatedWhenever I click to show the presets folder in Lightroom 5.2 Beta preferences it wants to launch Path Finder to show me the files. I no longer own a current license for PathFinder and want Lightroom to use the normal Finder application. I do not have Path Finder even installed any longer and so clicking the button does nothing at all.

Is there a way to apply develop presets when you synchronize a folder? I want the new images that are synchronized to have a develop preset applied.
View 4 Replies View RelatedOn Windows, it is possible to move the presets folder to a user-defined location?
By default the presets folder is located at C:UsersusernameAppDataRoamingAdobe. I use Lightroom on both a desktop and laptop and ideally I'd like to sync the presets between them by moving the presets folder to my SkyDrive folder. This way if I create a new preset on one device, it will automatically sync to the other device via SkyDrive.
Yes I realize I can store presets within the catalog folder and I could move my catalog to a SkyDrive folder which would technically accomplish my goal. However that would require sync'ing my entire catalog which I do not want to do; that would generate a lot of syncing traffic back and forth all the time. So I want my catalog and my presets in seperate locations, and I want to define where my presets are stored, which I haven't seen an option for.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm using Lightroom3 version 3.6. I made all my cropping adjustments, exposure, sharpening and noise reduction adjustments. Also added LR presents like sepia tone, black and white, bleach bypass. on several of my photo's. Then I selected all photos, clicked on export button, and saved them in a folder on desktop. All of the LR presents are visible in LR and they look great. However, when I open the saved folder on my desktop....all the photos are not edited. None of the presets or crops took.
View 1 Replies View RelatedMac OS X 10.7.4, Lightroom 4.1. File>Export Presets has two groups: Lightroom and User.
Under 'Lightroom' there are a number of duplicated items which I would like to delete (cleanup).
In Library>Application Support> Adobe> Lightroom>Presets>Export .. there is ONLY User. No 'Lightroom.'
How can I use multiple export presets in a single step. After I am done editing, I like to export my RAW images as JPG in 4-5 different resolutions and sizes. Currently, this means having to use the export dialog for each preset. Can I do this in a single step by grouping the presets or something?
View 1 Replies View RelatedLR 3.6, Win 7 ultimate 64 bit. Yes, I am so afraid of all the talk I hear about LR 4 being slow (it DID slowed down from 2 to 3) that I still work in 3.6 It is no longer showing/updating my export presets (see left column). Whether I add folders from the OS or from withing LR, they are not visible. If I select them in FOLDER CHOOSE (see right side of the screen shot), then it will export them properly to the right folder but I have no way to UPDATE FOLDER WITH CURRENT SETTINGS.

Can I auto export like auto import. I want to auto import raw files, add presets, then auto export DNGs or JPGs.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI find that I edit files on my laptop but I want the files, with their edits to reside on my desktop computer also.
I had been exporting the folder as a Catalog, but can't think of shy I can't just copy the folder with both the RAW and XMP files and import the folder on the Desktop PC. This option seems to work just as well as the catalog option.
Any reason I should choose one way over the other? Using Lightroom 4.2?
I am having trouble getting my presets to show up under presets on the left hand side of the screen. They are still in develop presets but there not showing up and Ive tried deleting them and adding them again then closing out of lightroom 4 and going back in but I can not seem to get them to show up again. View 1 Replies View RelatedI have used LR 4 in the past, and when I wanted to export my RAW files into JPEGS I would go to File>Export. I tried to do the same with LR CC, got the page, however, I couldn't figure out what the page should be set up for so that the jpegs went into the same folder as the RAW files. They went into another folder on my C drive. Or I get an error message:

View 2 Replies View RelatedI'd like to be able to setup an export preset that would save the selected photos to a subfolder within my export folder with the name of the subfolder automatically set to match the collection (or collection set) name. Is this possible? I have tried looking at the custom folder name options but couldn't quite
So, if my parent export folder is say c:PhotosExports and my collection name is 'Summer2012', I'd like for it to automatically export any photos in that collection to c:PhotosExportsSummer2012. Is this possible or do I need to set it manually each time?
Reason I'd like to automate this is say I'm in a rush to post up the pics, I might go ahead and export them without editing much and then manually cut and paste them from c:PhotosExports into a Summer2012 folder. If I later make edits to the photos, it'd be much handier to just use a preset export knowing that they would automatically update the files in the Summer2012 folder, rather than having to do another manual cut and paste every time, or manually select the folder if choosing the 'Choose folder later' option. Is there another way to do to what I'm looking for?
