I seem to have a bug in my Lightroom 5.3 program in that I am no longer able to export photos either to my desktop or to a portable stick. I'm now getting the following message each time I try to export any photos.Unable to Export. An internal error has occurred. WIN32 API error 2 (" The system cannot find the file specified").

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have attempted to upload to Behance using the LR5 Behance plugin with the following settings:
1. Format: JPEG
2. Color Space: sRGB
3. Limit File Size to 4000k (Behance limits to 50 mg)
4. Resize to Fit: 31.0 megapixels (Behance limits is 32 mpx)
5. Resolution: 72
On each attempt to upload, Behance informs me that I have exceeded the megapixels size of 32 mpx
I have attempted the same saving instead to my desktop. When I attempt to upload from the desktop to Behance, I receive the same error message.
I am using a Sony Alpha 99V camera, but it is not detected on Lightroom 5, however, it appears in the compatible cameras list.
View 3 Replies View RelatedWhen I create an export preset and then return later to use it, the folder for saving it to has changed (to whatever I used last. Because I use the presets to re-size images for my 40 odd web sites, this is really inconvenient. Can this behaviour be changed so that the preset remembers the selected folder? And if not could it be considered as an option for the next update?

View 1 Replies View RelatedThis is not a specific Photoshop question, but a general, portable graphics format -- not for web page display, but for sharing with different graphics designers, who might be using different graphics editors PhotoShop, PaintShopPro, GIMP, etc. A format that preserves layers, vector graphics, etc., for editing.
Is there any general, standard format that preserves all these editing features but is portable between most sophisticated graphics editors?
right now click export and images go on desktop. Don't see an offereing to export to a folder or create a folder for this.

I use a card reader to import photos. I do not wish Lightroom to open first but to go straight to my desktop? I set up a folder on the desktop, but my camera does not recognize the folder .I do not have my Nikon's editing application installed on my computer.
I just updated to Camera Raw8.3 and now when I'm in LR5.3 and attempt to edit an image in PS5, the image does not move from LR to PS. Should I just go back to a previous CR version?

Photos are exported, but without the EXIF data?
I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling Lightroom. I have also tried Restoring Win 7 to an earlier build, but with no success.
I'm been humming along just fine in Lightroom 5 until this morning. I might explain that I have been using an old iMac. The speeds been killing me so I decided to use my new MacBook Pro and get a display with it. So this weekend I set up the MacBook Pro with LR presets etc. I use an exteral HD for my photos. Since that drive was getting pretty full. I purchased a new one and copied my photos to it. In LR on the MacBook Pro, I clicked "find my photo" and it did. After that I did some editing and exporting. This morning, I couldn't export or edit in the development module. I still have my old iMac installed and I noticed I can't export from it either. Not sure what I need to do to use it.

I need to copy to folders, photos, and edits from my laptop to the LR on my desktop. View 4 Replies View RelatedI have Lightroom 4 and Photoshop CS6 running on a Mac. I have the box checked to stack edited with originals.
I recently moved all of my photos to a an external Raid 1 drive - I did this within Lightroom, so that Lightroom knew where everything was. Everything seemed to be fine.
Today, I realized that after going to Photoshop and coming back into Lightroom, my photos are not stacking. Not only are they not stacking, but according to Lightroom they are not in the same folder, even though they are.
I am not working from a collection, I am working from the actual folder structure on the drive. If I go to photoshop, edit, save and come back, when it returns to Lightroom, where normally the new edited Tiff would pop up - now it returns a black screen, saying "no photo selected". If I go to the library module, the screen is still black. If I go the top of Lightroom and click on "All Photographs" the tiff file is there next to the picture. However, it is not stacked. If I try to stack it, it says that it can't stack photos that are stored in different folders.
I don't know where Lightroom is putting this Tiff file. The folder that I was editing from had 20 photos in it. I went into photoshop, came back with a tiff, and there are still only 20 photos in the folder, yet if I go up to all photos, it is there, so Lightroom put it somewhere.
When I go look at my external hard drive, the tiff file is there. It is right next the raw. In the same folder. So, it seems that Photoshop is putting it back in the right folder, but Lightroom is not.
PE Elements 9 only opens and launches when I click on a photo. This seems to be something new.

But the problem that I´ve encountered is that when I edit my photos in my lightroom and then export them, and then import them again with everyone´s pictures in the same lightroom, mine don´t mix, don´t syncronize with the times and dates of the other pictures and also, my red tags and stars don´t appear. And this is making us waste so much time, because the moments of a wedding for example, dont match and we have to order them manually...
View 4 Replies View RelatedI'm running Windows 8 and for some odd reason I'm not able to export anything from Lightroom. When I try to press the export button from any location it will just freeze up. There are no error messages or anything, it just freezes. It was working fine before and I don't think I changed any export settings or anything and it just randomly stopped exporting. I always have to kill it off now with task manager. I had the problem in 4.3 randomly yesterday and then I upgraded to 4.4 and I still have the same problem. I made a new catergoy and that still didn't work. I'm still able to edit photos and such but its just the export feature that isn't working from what I know.

Well, the pictures still show up in my photo strip in Lr, but it won't let me export it because it's saying the "file is missing or offline". I know I deleted these photos and have no way of retrieving them. Question is: Since I can still view them in Lightroom, is there any way to export them now? Even if I have to open in another program and save them, I don't care. I just need these photos w/o the watermark.

I am having trouble when I use Lightroom 3 and I try to export my raw photos as jpegs. I require the Jpegs so I may send them on the web to either friends, or, to a company like istock. When I view the jpegs, they are often too red in color (this is seen in landscapes but is especially noticed in peoples skin tone...which often makes them look sunburnt or unrealistic) and they do not match my raw photos (often these are processed in CS5 and I view all photos on my Hp LP2475w monitor). Note that both LR and CS5 have been updated to the most current versions. I also calibrate my monitor with a Spyder 3. Naturally, I have tried to individually correct this color shift for each photo, but it can be a most laborious chore and it never looks quite right.

I am using the trial version right now as I am waiting for the software in the mail. Could this be why? Obviously- when they are scanned the date of origination is the date they were scanned not the actual date the photo was taken. I can remedy this in the 'edit capture time' feature. But there are thousand of photos and this is time consuming and often a guess. So, sometimes being lazy I forget. However, Lightroom allows me to arrange photos in a specific order. So for the sake of this discussion I can arrange histroical images in what I believe is the best the chronological order. Now I want to export these files without scrambing the order in which they are arranged. Not all the dates may be accurate so I don't want to rely on that feature. I want to export the photos in the sequence in which they are arranged. It might be as simple as adding a prefix 1-filename, 2-filename, etc. I've attempted exporting several times in the past but invariably it arranges everything by an alphanumeric sort.

View 10 Replies View RelatedSince upgrading to LR4, I've been unable to export photos to disk. No error is shown, but the UI shows the "exporting" dialog in the upper left of the window, but has zero progress. Here are some details:
Observations: CPU not pegging, RAM isn't getting eaten up. I can right click on any image and ask to be shown the pic in the Finder (I'm on a Mac) and it takes me to the photo. This catalog has been upgraded from every previous version of Lightroom.
Troubleshooting:
I've dumped my LR preferences (at ~/library/preferences/.com.adobe...)
I've upgraded to 4.1 RC2.
I've done the "test integrity of the catalog" check and didn't have any errors.
This repros with ANY photo in my catalog.
When I perform the export command, the folder I direct Lightroom to does get created by LR, but no photos ever show up there. I've also tried directing the export to an already created folder, and still there is no export.
Environment: Mac OS X (10.7.3 I believe)LR 4 (now at 4.1 RC2).
