Lightroom :: 3.6 Stopped Showing / Updating Export Presets?

LR 3.6, Win 7 ultimate 64 bit. Yes, I am so afraid of all the talk I hear about LR 4 being slow (it DID slowed down from 2 to 3) that I still work in 3.6 It is no longer showing/updating my export presets (see left column). Whether I add folders from the OS or from withing LR, they are not visible. If I select them in FOLDER CHOOSE (see right side of the screen shot), then it will export them properly to the right folder but I have no way to UPDATE FOLDER WITH CURRENT SETTINGS.

The "My Mixology" is not Showing up in my import or develop Presets of LR3. Do I have to download this?

LR 5.3 suddenly has stopped showing changes and adjustments and so on in real time. In order to see a change, I have to click on a different thumbnail pic and view that, then back to the one I'm actually working on. I can't get anything done like this, and I can't figure out what I might have done to switch off a live real time view!!

Is it possible to export brush presets from Lightroom 4? I created custom brush presets on my laptop and I would like to export them and import them onto my desktop if at all possible. Did a bit of research online and could only find this link which only applies to 'Presets' in general, [URL]

I've seen a procedure for LR4, but it doesn't work for LR5 (the LR4 procedure involved right clicking the preset to save from a context menu after making edits to the existing preset).

I recently reformatted my computer and I just realized that I lost all of my export presets even though I copied the catalog over. I've searched Finder in the all the usual places that Adobe programs store user data but I can't find them. where I can find my export presets to copy to my new home folder?

I'm using Lightroom3 version 3.6. I made all my cropping adjustments, exposure, sharpening and noise reduction adjustments. Also added LR presents like sepia tone, black and white, bleach bypass. on several of my photo's. Then I selected all photos, clicked on export button, and saved them in a folder on desktop. All of the LR presents are visible in LR and they look great. However, when I open the saved folder on my desktop....all the photos are not edited. None of the presets or crops took.

Mac OS X 10.7.4, Lightroom 4.1. File>Export Presets has two groups: Lightroom and User.
Under 'Lightroom' there are a number of duplicated items which I would like to delete (cleanup).
In Library>Application Support> Adobe> Lightroom>Presets>Export .. there is ONLY User. No 'Lightroom.'

When I create an export preset and then return later to use it, the folder for saving it to has changed (to whatever I used last. Because I use the presets to re-size images for my 40 odd web sites, this is really inconvenient. Can this behaviour be changed so that the preset remembers the selected folder? And if not could it be considered as an option for the next update?

How can I use multiple export presets in a single step. After I am done editing, I like to export my RAW images as JPG in 4-5 different resolutions and sizes. Currently, this means having to use the export dialog for each preset. Can I do this in a single step by grouping the presets or something?

I am trying to create some export presets, but LR wont allow me to create any that export to Hard Drive. They all change when I hit "Add" to Email. I go and try to update with current settings, but they all keep reverting to Email and not Hard Drive.
Lightroom 4.4, btw.

While working with my Easy Ease, the SHIFT+F9 just no longer works or hasn't since installation. SHIFT+CTRL+F9, or F9 work as intended.(I checked the pref text file for my keyboard short cuts and SHIFT+F9 is assigned correctly)
Now when I create a preset then wish to view or browse my presets I click Animation > Browse Preset, and nothing happens.(Made a shortcut to my preset folder)

Trying to export a photo and the screen with options on where to export to does not show but it IS there. I know this because everything on the screen is unclickable, kinda like being froze but it's not. If I hit enter it attempts to "burn to disc" which makes me believe that is just somehow inivisible? I thought I may have a virus when it tried exporting an image to Outlook but after other program tests and running virus protection software without hits i'm thinkin this must be a LR issue, I am currently using 4.1 64bit version.
My process - tried waiting it out with no results as well.
Right click image > Export... > No screen, clicking anything is disabled. > Hit enter and burns to disc

I am having trouble getting my presets to show up under presets on the left hand side of the screen. They are still in develop presets but there not showing up and Ive tried deleting them and adding them again then closing out of lightroom 4 and going back in but I can not seem to get them to show up again. I must have hit something but there not showing up again

I have recenty had to reinstall all my software, and manged to find most of my old Lightroom settings in the Lightroom Presets folder (inside the Appdata folder on a PC) but I seem to have lost my custom tone curves.
Do you know which folder they should be in (indise the Lightroom Presets folder)
I STILL don't understand why there are TWO comminty forums for Lightroom;

I want to use my Ipad 2 to show people pictures that I have taken. I am not certain as to the best workflow for doing this. I store all my pictures on external hard drives and am hoping to avoid bringing processed photos onto my computer hard drive. I have done a search on the forum and have not seen a recommended work flow.

I have a list of brushes in the Tool Presets. I go to the Preset Manager and organize them in an order that makes sense to me, then I Save the presets with a name in the Tools presets. Just to be sure, I save the workspace with a new name.
If I close PS and reopen it, the tools appear in the Tools Presets, but not in the order I saved them earlier. They are all in alpahbetical order again.
I've gone through this several times, and it seems I am doing it right. I must be missing a step somewhere. This is on Windows 7, 64 Bit, Photoshop 5.

I am relatively new to After Effects CC and am using it to create a stop motion film with a large amount of photos.Usually, when importing the individual images into my composition panel, a sequence of editable rectangles appears in the composition panel allowing me to edit the frame length of the still photos.
After around 950 imported images, the little rectangles suddenly stopped showing up. But when looking at a preview of the project, it's as if the photos are in there, in the sequence they should be. I'm just unable to edit them like the previous ones with rectangles showing.
The area of issue is where you see the descending sequence of boxes in the comp panel. The red tracking bar is there to show that there are still photos continuing the sequence.

My issue is that I have a number of presets-brushes, tools, actions, workspace setup, etc, that allow me to have speed and focus on getting the job done. I also work with a wacom tablet, and although that is 3rd party, I need know that photoshop is set up to maximize the brush sensitivity of the tablet.
Is there a way for me to export my settings from one machine to another? And a way for them to revert back to thier own after I finish?

I have a larger Revit file that has linked in models (mutiple buildings - each bldg is its own model)
I need a COMPLETE file for Navisworks...
When I go to Revit, and try to export to NWC file, it starts the export process... about 40 minutes in (YES, 40 mins, it just loads and loads and loads) I will get an error message that "Revit has stopped responding"
This is now the 3rd time today I have tried this with no success. I also tried loading into Navisworks directly (Nav 2013) but will not read the files properly and bring them in together.
I know Revit 2012 is capable of exporting linked models to a single NWC file... however my computer does't seem to like it. I even just sat and read a book and did not internet serach or running any other programs at the time....
I NEED THIS TO WORK
Exporting each individual Revit model to NWC and recompling them in Navisworks IS NOT AN OPTION.
I need to export this large linked Revit file as ONE nwc file.. I know it CAN be done...
My laptop is fairly newer and has like 8gb of ram, so that shouldn't be the problem, is it?

When trying to print in Elements 11, after clicking "Print/Page Setup/Presets/Show Presets", the box freezes. Clicking Cancel or OK does not work. I then have to Force Quit Elements to clear it. Apple say that it is a problem with Elements. Using the same procedure in other applications, clicking Cancel or OK does work.
