Lightroom :: How To Update Saved Gallery When Module Change And Click On Saved Gallery Icon Changes Are Lost
Jun 3, 2012I created a Web Gallery and forgot to update the folder name for the FTP server.
How can I update the saved gallery? If you change module and double click again on the saved gallery icon, the changes are lost.
Here is what I get via right click:
How do you solve this without the need to delete and save the gallery again?

Feb 19, 2013When I upload new photos to an existing album they displayed after existing photos. I need new photos to be displayed before existing photos. It is in the nature of the work that I do. My customers need to locate their photos with minimal effort. Is there a way to set the program to accomplish this?

Jun 20, 2012I'm using a Mac, Lightroom 3 uploading to a host monster.com server. the Lightroom HTML gallery displays fine when exported and opened offline but when uploaded to my server, backgrounds and navigation and cells appear fine but all the photos appear to be missing. the source code appears to have the correct path. When I've seen this question earlier users suggest that the photos are being put in a bin file but mine look to be in the correct path on the server. Other users suggest changing code in some Lightroom files perhaps using the SDK but I can't find the files they suggest changing (I think they might have been on pcs instead of macs). .

Lightroom :: 3 - How To Get Photos In Order For Burning To Disc
May 16, 2013I am new to LR 3 , after downloading photo's from 3 CF cards from a wedding then editing I put chosen best shots into a smart collection and all seemed in order numbers wise etc, when I burnt to a disc they are now not in order of the days event, how can I make sure they are of the following : -
1 - All the same size photo's ready to be printed or put in an album.
2 - How can I make sure the order in which I see them in the library smart collection is burnt in the same order onto a disc, as I have burnt from library and they are all out of order of the wedding event when looked at on the disc !!

Dec 31, 2012I'm wanting to create a photobook of the last few years and need to order my photos by the date I took them. I am looking at all my photos in the Libaray but they are not in order of the date I took them. I presume it's under Library filters somewhere but I can't find it. I've checked date under attribute but they're not right.

Mar 28, 2013*smacks the foreheard* I forgot to change the timezone on the camera when I arrived in a different continent and all my pictures are 8h behind. I have imported the holidays pictures into folders arranged by the day the pictures was taken and therefore many of the pictures are put in the wrong folder.
Correcting the pictures for the difference in the time zone was a cinch. However the pictures are still in the wrong folder! Updating/Synchronizing the folder does not put the pictures in the right folder.

Mar 30, 2006My Web Photo Gallery feature in Photoshop CS has all of a sudden started to rotate vertical photos to the horizontal position. In the finished gallery the thumbnails and large photos are rotated. When I open the images in Photoshop they are correct and in the vertical position. Any advice on reverting it back to the way it is supposed to be? I've looked through all the tabs and can't find where I might have accidently changed something to have caused this.
I did notice that when I just try to make a web gallery of only a few images they appear correct.

May 13, 2009When I "Get Photos" from a camera and choose to rename them (with "Name" + 001 option), they are acquired and renamed in no particular order and occasionally have the incorrect date.For example, I took 5 photos on 2/21, 4 photos on 2/22, and 3 photos on 2/23 (today). When I imported them into Photoshop Album Starter Edition 3.2 and sort them by date, the filename numbers are in an almost random order, e.g. 2009Feb018, then 2009Feb002, then 2009Feb012 are the names of 3 photos taken within minutes of each other.In addition two of the 4 photos taken 2/22 show a date of 2/21.When I download photos from my camera to Adobe Photoshop Album Starter Edition 3.2, how do I get them to download in chronological order?

Jul 7, 2013when I access in Lightroom 4.4 a folder which had been edited originally (and imported) in Lightroom 3, the options and settings for Developing and editing in LR 4 change to appear like the old options in LR3 (Exposure, Recovery, Fill Light and Blacks, instead of Highlights, shadow, whites and blacks etc..). Mar 27, 2013I've recently moved from iPhoto and already had a hard time figuring out how to replicate the "hidden" photos and how not to display them in lists etc. by default.
Now I'm hanging on another thing I simply couldn't find in LR4 yet but believe it must be there - at least it would be a no-brainer to implement this if I were a programmer of LR.
The feature I'm talking about is the user-definable preview picture for each "event" in iPhoto.
In LR, in the Library module, there is this folder selection menu on the left-hand panel. Now when I hover all the folders shown there the picture in the Navigator changes to resemble the respective first picture in each of the folders.
What I want to do is select a different "preview" picture for each folder and save this setting inside the Lightroom catalog I'm currently in.
How do I accomplish that - or is it impossible with the current version of Lightroom?

Sep 6, 2012How to change the keyboard shortcuts for applying Color Labels to photos? I have Keyboard Tamer, and I was able to remove the shortcuts for applying star ratings, but there seems to be no way to change the commands in Photo > Set Color Label.
See, many times a day I will click the white balance color temperature fileld and start typing "5500" only to then realize that the click on the entry field didn't activate it and I have now inadvertently changed the ratings and/or label colors for several photos. Super frustrating to then have to undo a bunch of times, especially when I'm viewing based on rating and/or color label, because photos can spontaneously vanish from view.

Dec 13, 2011I'm experiencing a bit of an organization problem with Lightroom 3 which is probably rather easy to fix, but I just can't seen ti figure out how. When I import photos in Lightroom it automatically creates folders (2011-12-14 for example) and I would like to change the location on my computer for these folders, but I can't find where to do it. It now creates these folders in my regular Pictures folder which gets really messy due to this. How can I change this? And how do I relocate all the excisting folders on my laptop, without having to find all the missing photos afterwards.
