Adobe Photoshop Elements 12: I need to create a Web Photo Gallery so I can upload thumbnails and full-size pictures to my own website. No Facebook, Flickr, Adobe Revel etc.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have upgraded from pse9 to 11 and after selecting a photo in organiser then viewing in full screen and enlarging to 100% then exiting, organiser loses the highlight and reverts to the first photo. This also occurs when the photo is edited and saved you have to find where the editedd photo has gone to, it is time consuming when you have a large number of photos in the organiser. pse9 did not do this.Also pse11 does not sort photos properly by the shot date especially when the photos ard edited

View 1 Replies View RelatedWhen opening my jpeg photos in Photoshop elements 9, once saved elements seems put the image in a format that my Apple Mac isn't compatible with. So when I then try and upload the images to Facebook or other software in a bulk upload the images are highlighted and I therefore can't select them and upload.
View 16 Replies View RelatedMy Web Photo Gallery feature in Photoshop CS has all of a sudden started to rotate vertical photos to the horizontal position. In the finished gallery the thumbnails and large photos are rotated. When I open the images in Photoshop they are correct and in the vertical position. Any advice on reverting it back to the way it is supposed to be? I've looked through all the tabs and can't find where I might have accidently changed something to have caused this.
I did notice that when I just try to make a web gallery of only a few images they appear correct.
In previous versions of Photoshop I go to "file", "automate", and create a web photo gallery. That option is not available in Photoshop CC. Tutorials online teach how to create this through Bridge but I can't seem to find it there either.

View 4 Replies View Relatedi cannot upload photos from Elements Organiser to facebook .. the upload gets as far as 1% and sometimes 12% but stops .. message pops up saying " There was a problem with your internet connection .Please check that the firewall is not blocking Elements Organiser from accessing the internet and that you have a internet connection
1 - Firewall is not blocking EO as i turned of my firewall but still get same message.
2- Have internet access as how come i am typing this on the Adobe site.
have also tried - Edit - Preferences- Adobe Partner and refresh but still same message.
I have a problem with elements 11. I am trying to share my photos on facebook but it will not let me upload them I have activated my account and selected the photos them just comes up to a blank screen and that is a far as I can go.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have been using Elements 8.0 for some years and it still uploads pictures from my regular camera Sony Cyrbershot. It used to upload from iPhone 4s OK but has not done so for a week. The pictures can be seen in File Explorer and iTunes syncs fine with the iPhone but iPhone is not detecetd at "Get photos from". Clicking refresh does not work.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI'm trying to create a full width photo layout using Photoshop or Fireworks CS3 and then end with Dreamwaver CS3 without the photo's being tall.
to create a flash site just like expo but at this point I would settle for a static photo with the same size being the same on each page.
Also I would like my site to be a liquid layout so the photo and everything else (text, Links etc) on the page flows correctly.
The size of the photo's they offer are
425 x 282 px (5.9" x 3.9")
849 x 565 px (11.8" x 7.8")
1698 x 1131 px (5.7" x 3.8")
I'm selecting horizontal photo's. I do not know how to match the same width, height and appearence as the websites I mentioned above.
If I choose a photo that fits the width then the length is too long. Also if I choose a large photo and have to crop it then most of the detail of the photo is lost.
I'm attempting to create a mock-up for my web in Fireworks CS3 and after search Adobe and www I came across the mock up should be 1004px which would end up being 1024 with vertical scroll bar and small margins.
I also have Photoshop & Flash CS3 but should mention (if you haven't already guess it by now) I am a rookie when it comes to creating a website.
How do I resize a full size photo to fit into a round locket, I'm using CS2.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI've had a great time using the Web Photo Galleries in Photoshop CS and CS2, especially since I'm fairly deft with HTML and a total Flash dunce, so the Web Photo Gallery Flash 1 and Flash 2 templates have served me well and allowed me to make fun Flash stuff without having to learn. But, with learn-by-doing, there often comes a point of confusion, and I think I've found mine.
I noticed that (when using the gallery "Flash 1"), if I click the little ? in the bottom right, the file name will come on and stay on throughout all the pictures. This is exactly what I want since that's where I do all my captioning and it really adds something for me to be able to see that. My question: how in the world do I get it to do this by default? I'm always telling friends/family, "oh, click the little ? in the bottom right and it'll show the captions," but am certain there must be some way to do this by default.
I fiddled in the galleryconfig.xml file, but there's only this line

which actually just tells the button to be displayed, but not for the thing that happens as a result of pushing the button to stay displayed.

View 5 Replies View RelatedIn Elements 11 on a Windows 8 64 bit machine. I can upload photos to Facebook using the standard quality without any problems.
However if I select the High quality option, the upload appears to work, I get the progress bar, and the done message, and if I select a new album the album is created on Facebook, but the album is empty and the photos do not appear anywhere in etiher the newly created album, or an existing album if that has been selected.
The orignal files are JPGs around 7.5MB in size.
Have stopped getting thumbnails for both new and edited photos.I reinstalled but it is still the same.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have Photoshop Elements 11. I designed a book cover with Microsoft Word 2010 and saved the file as a Pdf. I want to upload an image of this book cover to various web sites that require a Jpeg image and the book cover has to cover at least 85% of the image and require a pure white back ground. Pixel size can be 1,000 or more. I did go to the library to get reference books but, I can't ascertain from these books how to do this. I am a beginner to Photoshop and realize I will have to get training for future projects. I wanted to upload an image from my computer to show you the book cover but there was a dialogue box that appeared saying the file was too large to upload. The book cover I designed is 8.5' x 11.0"

I have to manually enlarge the file to 100% and then enlarge it's window as well. I've already tried re-installing the software but the problem persists. Using Mac OS10.6.8
View 6 Replies View RelatedI'm using Lightroom 5.2 on a 27-inch iMac running Mavericks. I want to create a slide show full of photos with a native aspect ratio of 3:2 (from a Nikon D4 and a Nikon D800). I do NOT want the photos to be trimmed along the top and bottom, which is what happens when I choose "Zoom to fill frame" in the Slide Show module. I do NOT want letterboxing along the right and left edges of the photo, which is what I get if I don't choose "Zoom to fill frame" and just export the slide show using the "Export Video" button in the lower left of the Slide Show module. ("Export Video" gives me four choices for "Video Preset," but none of the four is a 3:2 aspect ratio.) I just want a slide show of uncropped 3:2 aspect ratio photos with no border around them whatsoever. Considering how many of the photos taken every day on this planet are still in the 3:2 aspect ratio, I find it hard to believe there isn't a way to do this.
If for some reason there is no way to create such a slide show in Lightroom, I have Creative Suite 5, iPhoto, and iMovie, but I don't want to buy any new software just for this.

Currently I have MaxImageSize at 200M, but can't find a similar setting for the Editor, and clearly it doesn't work for the full screen view either, so if there is a setting that enables these functions, that would be useful information.
I have PSE 10 and I recently decided to start some shooting in RAW. However, when I open my photos( I have a Canon Rebel T2i so the file extension is .CR2), it says, "processing Camera RAW file" and then opens the photo in the full edit mode instead of the Camera RAW dialog box. I checked my plug-in, and I have version 6.7 of the Camera RAW plug in. I'd really like to start working with Camera RAW! Oh, and I am working abroad for a couple months and do not have my installation disks with me, so uninstalling and re-installing PSE is not an option.
