Can the add, delete, convert indicators be moved from the right side of the pen curser to the left of the curser for right handed users? The indicators are obscured by the pen when using the pen in the right hand on the Wacom Cintiq. Option preference for right or left hand is desired.

I have been working with the perseptive tool for a couple of hours now. I've watched 3 or 4 videos, and read writting directions but I can't for the lift of me figure out what's going on. I am using the perspective grid and selection tool. I can get my objects onto the left plane only. When I try to select for the right plain (2) or the horizontal grid (3) it keeps moving my shape back onto the left plane. I've tried using the icon to select the areas and I have tried using keyboard shortcuts. What am I doing wrong?
Working in CS6
I have a shape in illustrator CS6 that I'm trying to edit. When I try to click on a point with the Delete Anchor Point Tool nothing happens however I am able to select the point using the Direct Selection Tool and then remove it using the "Remove selected anchor points" option in the Control palette. Same issue with trying to use the Convert Anchor Point Tool.

Any way i do not understand with after using -convert point tool- the tool -Direction tool- (2) do not leave me to manage both the direction handles (3). I try to upload a screenshot:
(1): how work Direction tool (it moves both the direction handles).
When in CS6 I want to be able to move my image where ever I want it, by default it's centered on the workspace. Because my palettes are on the right and I use quit a bit of them it's better when I can move the image moire to the left.

View 4 Replies View RelatedWhen i click my mouse to draw the cursor moves up and to the left of the position i started which makes any and all editing impossible. Imagine trying to draw a line but the starting point is a half to a full inch up and to the left of where you wanted the line to start. I've tried a clean install even changed my mouse. doesn't do it it drawx4 only photo-paint x4.

I'm using AI CC now, but I noticed this problem in earlier versions of AI: If I want to place a one-word label on an illustration I move the type insertion cursor to a speific point on the screen image and click, but then the flashing insertion point, where the label will actually start, pops up elsewhere, usually a line or two above where the cursor was, and a pica or two to the left, forcing me to type the label, then move it into position rather than simply typing it in the right place and moving on. The problem is merely annoying, but I'd like to fix it. It's probably a matter of ignorance-I simply haven't read the right documentation, but I don't know what to call the problem. Where can I find out how to change the position of the cursor relative to the insertion point?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI am working in AutoCAD 2008 on a subdivision plan that has several sheet layouts. The roads in the subdivision are dimensioned and have a pavement hatch. In one of the layouts, however, we want to turn off the dimensions, but leave the hatching. When I freeze the dimensions in that viewport, the pavement hatch is left with holes wherever the dimension text had been.
Other threads had suggested going through Hatch Edit > Remove Boundary > Select all the "island" boundaries. When I select the hatch, though, no boundaries show up around the holes left by the dimension text.
Is there any way I can turn off dimensions in one layout without leaving holes in the hatch?
The “level” indicators are not cropped exactly based on the “crop region”,the “crop view” doesn’t crop the “level” indicators exactly as they extend outside the “crop region”.
View 4 Replies View RelatedWhy is the scrolling on the timeline so slow when Cache indicators are enabled? It's very useful to have cache indicators on but when they are enabled the scrolling (up-down/left-right) on the timeline becomes significantly slow and unresponsive enough to make it unusable. It's more noticeable the more layers are present in each composition. It's very frustrating and it is something that started happening from 5.5 onwards.
I am now on After Effect 12.2 with a Macbook Retina 2.6Ghz i7 and 16gb of ram. The problem was also present on my previous laptop.
When working in my GIMP 2.8 the default left dock had various tools at the top and Font tools at the bottom.
Somehow I changed the bottom to Airbrush tools. I tried resetting tool defaults. No luck I still have only the airbrush tools at the bottom of the left dock.
I am new to pse8. I am opening pictures I have on my computer and for some reason its not allowing me to edit them. I just have the hand icon. I can click on any of the tools on the left tool bar and they do not work. I open several different images and it wont let me crop or use any of the edit tools.

I have a lot of old pictures that I no longer want to keep the DNG (converted from NEF) files for. I'd rather have a JPG (or a DNG that does not contain RAW data, leaving only JPG) for purposes of saving space. View 10 Replies View RelatedI'm having trouble setting up my toolbars. I position them the way I want, but as soon as I switch back from a different workspace (lets say3D modeling) the position of the toolbars change. Also I can't get the scroll bars to disappear for good, they always come back
Here is what I do exactly:
1. Change the content and the position of the toolbars (acad classic workspace)
2. Lock down the toolbars
3. Go to options => profiles, create a new profile (add to list), set current
4. Change workspace to 3D modeling
5. Change workspace back to acad classic

The result is: content of the toolbars is the way I want, but the position is changed. The toolbars are locked, so in order to move them to the desired place I have to unlock.
It will scroll right, up, and down but it will not scroll left. I have tried uninstalling photoshop and everything. I am using Win XP and Photoshop 7.

View 7 Replies View RelatedI've been using PS and PSE since 2003 so I'm not what you'd call a new PSE user. I upgraded to PSE9 a few years ago but now I can't get the clone stamp to work correctly. I keep getting black spots on the distracting elements that I want to remove. I've gone through Scott Kelby's PSE9 book a million times but still can't get the tool to work correctly.All I get are the black spots. I'm working on photo submissions and time is running out. Here's what I'm doing.
1) First I select the Clone Stamp tool and then the brush size I want to use (usually around size 45)
2) Then, I sample the area just to the left of the distracting element that I want to remove. (I use Alt + left click)
3) Then I run the tool over the distracting element and left click. But instead of getting my sampled area clone, I get a black spot.
I thought that maybe I was using too big of a brush but that's not the case. So, what the heck am I doing wrong or is there some kind of an update or tool that will allow me to remove distracting elements more easily?
The title says it all. The file(s) I imported and want to develop are JPEG files. Not sure that has anything to do with the problem.
How can I restore this tool pallette?
I meant the right column. The main things in the palette I am looking for are: exposure, shadows, clarity, saturation, vibrance, etc.
On my tool barin transformation bar i had position - absolute (coordinates) and size of a selected object.
i changed something and now i have position like 0.00 x 0.00 (i think its relative position) and when i write something in position it moves relative to previous.
when i press alt+f7 i can change position relative and absolute but toolbar don't change. How to set toolbar to show me always absolute position?
I'm using the trial version of Elements 11 to see if I should downgrade from an old version of Photoshop. I'm running into two problems:
1) when I re-size an image, it doesn't show pixels in the drop-down box under Document Size, and
2) if I manually re-size an image, I can't get the move tool to nudge it into position.
I did something on the screen and removed the tool bar on the left side of the screen. How to get it back?

View 2 Replies View RelatedRecently upgraded to Gimp 2.8 for the single window mode (which worksbrilliantly in Ubuntu, especially with the HUD).
But the Rectangle Select Tool has a new - but odd - behaviour. When I drawa selection, and then add to that selection, a new "square" is position atmy cursor. (See attached screenshot.) This didn't happen in 2.6 and is abit irritating because it disorientates me slightly, especially if I'mworking quickly.
Is there a way to turn that off (or revert it to the 2.6 way)?
I'm using the Multileader Align tool for my labels and it works great as long as my labels are left justified. I noticed this issue has been brought up before but didn't know a way to make it work for right justified text.
My problem is this: right justified text will not justify properly. It will not justify the same way that left justified text does. If you can follow this, leaders that have text that are left-justified will align according to their leader lines and everything looks neat and correct. The leaders that are right justified do not align properly because they align to the left side of the text. See the following screen shots and you'll understand...
