What is difference between Text Tool used for paragraph text with pressing left click mouse in x5 and inserting placeholder text in x6.

I've spent some time designing a chart using the table tool. Now I want to adjust some column widths and add some text.
However, the mouse keeps trailing a small table icon, and all it will let me do is insert another table. I can't enter text, or highlight a row or column, for example. Most of the right mouse click options are greyed out.
How do I change from this mode for the mouse, with the Table icon switched on, to other modes where I can do other things with the table I have already created?(If I create a new table below this existing table, all is well. However, I can't grab the content in the earlier table to paste it into the new one.)
I removed text from a rectangle and that message keep displaying in that rectangle.

I am using CorelDraw 12, and recently when I try to drag a drawing, I do a left click and drag. But in doing so, depending on how far I move the object, and how long I hold the left click down, it will just continue making duplicate copies of my object. So as I drag the object, it is also copying. I have had to restart my computer to get it to stop, but this is getting old.
how to disable the drag copyiing? Everywhere I have looked, I find that people are right-clicking, so to clarify, this is a left click issue with my mouse.

View 1 Replies View RelatedWith X4 I can right click a piece of text - with pick tool - and drag the selected text to an open area and the text is duplicated. With X5 this does not work - text is locked. The only way to duplicate is to copy / paste. Is there a setting that needs to be reset.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI use cs2 and when in photoshop when i left click on any of the tools for instance the pen tool it brings up the menu to select pen tool, freeform pen tool, etc.. rather than just selecting it. I am use to having to right click on the the pen tool to get that menu, i was wondering how i would change it back. Is there a way to turn this off because I would like it to flow better. With the mouse if I ctrl+alt +left mouse is gives me a new copy of my layer. With the pen I get the pressure/size to come up but it is fickle and mostly just resorts to creating a new layer copy which is what I want to disable so it just does the brush size/hardness option. It seems the left mouse click doesn't display in any keyboard shortcuts.

In the past, it wasn't this touchy. It's so touchy that it's impossible to CONSISTENTLY click once and make the scroll thingy move just one position. In previous versions, it works like a charm. Now, how do you change the font for all the text to Arial Black?Now, try to change the font for all the text in the text object to Arial Black.
It is possible for me to change the font for the entire text to any other font, except the font that is used for the first line.
Even if just a single word is typed, and you change the font for just the first character in the word, you then cannot change the word's font, to the font which you used for just the first character.

In X4 I have an addon program called EngravePro. With this I can use the shortcut H to snap to top left of page.
This addon is not available for X6.

Imagine trying to draw a line but the starting point is a half to a full inch up and to the left of where you wanted the line to start. Right now i have two options:
1. pressing Ctrl+A (I reaassigned this shortcut to Align window) and then selecting options with mouse and then close
2. press P and then manually lift the object to the top edge of page.
Document colors in Corel Draw X3 have changed. Example: dark green is now black on my designed object; Teal is now light green.
I thought it might be color management had switched somehow but all management settings do not make a change as they did before or at all. Basically I think the problem lies in the color management. I re-installed the program but the problem remains. Color management does not affect color appearances as they used too before.I run windows 7 and have had it for a couple of years with no problems.

When a new page or document is created, by default the zero point is set at the bottom left of the page. Is there a way to set it to another point like top left so that all new documents open with it set that way. (top left)
If I use the scroll wheel on my mouse in X3 it changes the zoom and does not scroll.
Using the same in X5 works OK and scrolls.
How I can change a setting somewhere so that it scrolls in X3
I remember back in 8 or 9 when you could use the scroll mouse to "scroll". But in 11 or 12 it changed to "zoom".there is a way to change it back to scroll?
