CorelDRAW Graphics Suite X3 :: Change Mouse Scroll To Stop Zooming?
Mar 27, 2009I remember back in 8 or 9 when you could use the scroll mouse to "scroll". But in 11 or 12 it changed to "zoom".there is a way to change it back to scroll?

Mar 27, 2011If I use the scroll wheel on my mouse in X3 it changes the zoom and does not scroll.
Using the same in X5 works OK and scrolls.
How I can change a setting somewhere so that it scrolls in X3

Jun 13, 2012I used to have x4 . One of the features I like is wherever you place the cursor and use your the scroll wheel on the mouse, it will zoom in where the cursor is.
When i switched to x5 , it doesnt center to the cursor. Is that a glitch? is there a way im doing it wrong or any setting i need to fix?

Nov 19, 2012When zooming in and out using the mouse wheel, the increments used in zooming are rather course.
I've tried changing the windows mouse options to no effect within Inventor. I've also looked around the application settings and could not readily find any options which adjusts zooming increment.
Is there even such an option, or am I out of luck on this one?

Aug 14, 2012I've installed Illustrator CS6 recently and found the behavior of panning with the scroll wheel annoying. When I have low zoom values (e.g. 75%) the scroll wheel lets me pan U-D, L-R at normal speed, but if I zoom in (200% and up), the panning slows to a point where it is unusable at 600% and up. I use [Shift] to speed it up but at high zoom levels it's not enough. This wasn't the case for Illustrator CS5 or 5.5 where panning with the scroll wheel worked at the same speed at any zoom level.

Aug 16, 2012Is it just me or did they not fix the zoom out with the update for CorelDraw? on large drawing you can't use the mouse wheel to zoom out, and if you try to drag a object of screen it doesn't flow it.

Apr 10, 2012So I'm working on a website layout this morning with parts and pieces all over my artboard. I zoom out to 25% and everything on my artboard disappears. It's still there, just not visible. I did a little tinkering and it turns out the 27% and below has this effect.
I'm using CorelDaw X6 64-bit on Windows 7.

Nov 29, 2012Regarding the conversion of some WinAPI fucntions to 64 bit.Been banging my head on this one for a while. I just can't seem to get it right no matter what I try.I think I have converted everything but it still crashes X6 after a few scrolls of the list box. Aug 14, 2013when I select several objects and try to deselect some of them in the object manager the list scrolls down after each click. This happens only in long lists when I deselect objects that are rather in top of the list. It then scrolls until the end of the list and I have to scroll up again for deselecting any further object. Can this be fixed?
Furthermore I would like to know if there is any way to select/deselect by a filter? For example: Deselect all objects that are of the type text or all curves that have a border.

Jul 3, 2013Every time I double click on a bitmap in Corel Draw, it opens up Photo Paint. How can I disable this option? I never use it and its a waste of my time because it takes too long to load up! I don't know if my mouse has a problem, but sometimes I can just click once on a bitmap and it triggers the photo paint to open.

How can I stop new text boxes being rotated? When I make a new text box (or start typing artistic text) using the text tool, the box (or artistic text) is rotated 90° clockwise. The tabs also show on the left hand ruler instead of the top one. I have looked at all the options in the Tools menu but there does not seem to a way of changing this. I have attached a CorelDraw file as an example.
I am using CorelDraw 14.0.0.701 from Graphics Suite 4. My PC is running Windows XP Pro, Service Pack build 2600.

Jul 17, 2013I am using CorelDraw Suite X5 on a Windows 7, 64-bit operating system. I always used x,y coordinates for positioning objects. Last week that option suddenly stopped working. Now when an object is highlighted the x,y coordinates always registers 0,0. If I try to re-position an object by putting in new coordinates, objects are placed way off the page. My inputs are not held and the coordinates are back to 0,0.

Feb 14, 2012I've spent some time designing a chart using the table tool. Now I want to adjust some column widths and add some text.
However, the mouse keeps trailing a small table icon, and all it will let me do is insert another table. I can't enter text, or highlight a row or column, for example. Most of the right mouse click options are greyed out.
How do I change from this mode for the mouse, with the Table icon switched on, to other modes where I can do other things with the table I have already created?(If I create a new table below this existing table, all is well. However, I can't grab the content in the earlier table to paste it into the new one.)

Aug 14, 2013when I select "all objects" via the menu and remove the setting "scale with object" from the object properties the color changes from CMYK to RGB. I cannot even redo. All actions are redone but not the color. The primary color of the document is CMYK. This happens only to the borders and not to the fillings.

Aug 14, 2011It would be nice to have vba scale the thickness of the the eraser tool based on the current zoom setting. What i'm after is every time i click on the eraser tool, it will autosize to 2% of the current window size. So if im zoomed in really far and the current window has a wdith of 1 inch, the diamter of the eraser would change to 0.02 of af inch. Where as if I was zoomed out far and the current window had a width of 24 inches, the eraser thickness would default to 0.5 inches or something like that. The idea would be for the diameter of the erser to always be the same thicknes % of window size no matter what zoom level im at.
I can figure out how to get the current zoom level, and I know how to make this script run by altering the customization and setting this script's hot key to X. but im not sure if there is a function to change the thickness of the eraser. it doesnt seem to record when I attempt to record a macro.

May 4, 2010i want to change the color of a bitmap that i hav in the cdr 11.
1st i draw a circle, then fill any color. then i turn that circle to bitmap by click the option "Covert to Bitmap" as RGB with 300dpi. Then i select that image, then i go to " Bitmap - Creative - Scatter". Now the image is show with edges scattered. After all these ladder i want to change the color of that image by right click on mouse from the color palatte. someone says, go back and change the color and do all these ladder. Its very difficult. i had seen this thing when i went to a printing firm near by.
