So I'm working on a website layout this morning with parts and pieces all over my artboard. I zoom out to 25% and everything on my artboard disappears. It's still there, just not visible. I did a little tinkering and it turns out the 27% and below has this effect.
I'm using CorelDaw X6 64-bit on Windows 7.
I'm not sure why, but Photoshop just started doing this after I converted my files to a smart object. When I try to zoom in past 50%, it displays these transparent pixel squares over the entire image. I tried rasterizing and flatting the image back, but that didn't do anything. It seems to keep doing this.
View 4 Replies View Related I have a partitioned mac that i am running windows 7 on. I've had no problems with corel and all of a sudden when I go to open the program it won't open past "Creating Application Environment" and I get an error message stating problem open corel.
I have tried the f8 thing, no luck, I have tried the uninstall reinstall, no luck, I've tried the run registry, no parasite.
I was trying to use the guides to make a triangle and everything was fine until I used a third guide on one of the triangles points (2 guides; 1 at 90 degrees and 1 at 60 degrees). When I used the dimension tool on it to measure from the bottom of the page to that point, the measurement did not match the numbers in the 90 degree guide's info. It was like .0000007 or .00000007 inches off. I know that's not much but I really needed precision for my particular drawing and I dont know how to get more accurate measurements with the program rounding to the nearest 6th decimal place (the highest setting on drawing precision). If it says it's centered in the intersection, then why do I see a tiny micro right triangle when I zoom in?

I remember back in 8 or 9 when you could use the scroll mouse to "scroll". But in 11 or 12 it changed to "zoom".there is a way to change it back to scroll?

Just upgraded my X5 to X6. So far so good, except pop up menus are blank. See image below. Am I missing a setting somewhere, or is this a Windows XP Pro problem? I have my screen resolution set to the Corel recommended 1024x768.
View 7 Replies View RelatedI don't know why it happens but whenever I start Corel it starts fine but after a while the color information disappears and says "Processing" until I restart it. I have uninstalled, F8, latest updates, the whole bit. I work in the sign business so I must be crazy.
View 7 Replies View Relatedi have been working on this project in corel draw12 for several weeks now, as it is or/was coming to its final stages a few days ago it now only opens a blank page, it is 2.14 gb and it will get bigger as it reaches its final stages.i can still see it in preview. when it was opening it took a very long time to open i realise the reason for this is the size im using very high resolution images and designing and editing, or maybe there is another program that you may recommend that will support the size so i can complete my work.
i found a backup copy but it will not import the size is 1.70 gb seems its still too large to open ,
i don't think it has anything to do with memory , i have a full drive laptop is new. my thoughts are that corel draw will not open a file that size, and you are right about breaking it up i should have worked in several sheets but saved them desperately.
When I try to open an X5 template in X6, nothing happens in X6. I don't receive any error messages. It looks like the template is opening, but I just end up with a blank grey (no file opened) slate. I am using the 32-bit build. Everything else seems fine.

all of my Cdr files be corrupted . they show their real size (eg 23mb ) but when i open them it show white page. I have been using X3 for years, then decided to upgrade to 4 which I did, however I stopped using X4 as I could not see the Fonts display in the fly out box as they show blank so you can not see what the text would look like say in 'Bold' or 'Italic' or in a different font. I keep trying to sort it then I just go back to X3 but I really want to use X4 (I have X5 which does exactly the same thing.) I have looked at the 'Font settings' in X3 & compared to X4 checked and unchecked boxes, still no different. I did have X4 loaded on another old computer, which I uninstalled, thinking this may be the problem. Didn't change anything, so I have just uninstalled and reinstalled on the computer I am using now but still no good.
My operating system is still windows XP not sure if this is the cause?
I am using Corel X3...I am trying to create a PDF in Corel X3 but the pdf is coming out blank? On smaller files they work out OK. I have re-sampled the images to make them smaller but it is not working? The file size is 31mb.I have made PDF's before and it is easy, but this is frustrating now. I have even uninstalled Corel and re-installed. Changed PDF generating programs too. I am now using Nitro Reader.

If I enable the welcome screen it asks me what I want to open but if I disable it all I get is a grey area and I have to go to the drop down file menu ans select 'new page'.

I have a custom palette set on two machines. If I save a file on one and then open it on the other, the second machine does not recognize the custom colors and leaves the object blank. I can click on the palette and correct this but can I set it so that the colors will load correctly when I open the files.

when I create a new blank document, it size always become multiply of 10 (example Page size A4 = 2100mm x 2970mm) and in the document, when I draw a new object, it will automatical multiply with 10, too. I'm using Windows 7, and I never seen this problem before, when I using Windows XP!

After installing SP3, the Export preview window, as CMYK, shows a black window, but the file is exported correctly. This situation does not happen when the file is exported as RGB. Any explanation why this happens? I´ve tried with different files and happens the same "black window".
When I try and publish a image or document to PDF it produces a blank PDF document.
I have tried using Bullzip PDF printer but that also produced a blank PDF.
Font Flux Architect characters in normal and bold formats are displayed as blank squares, though italic and bold-italic format display them correctly. Print preview shows all formats correctly.
CorelDRAW X5 on Windows XP
1.) I dragged out vertical and horizontal guides from the rulers and then created a new art board. The new art board now has the horizontal guides carried over from the first art board. How can I have separate guides on each of my art boards? I am using art board rulers.
2.) Is there a way to layout vertical and horizontal guides on an art board and copy them over to a new blank art board?
Resetting the User Setting with the the F8 key didn't solve the problem. Once the user gets caught up on a couple projects I'll try to update the version to SP3 and the hotfix.
