When I try and publish a image or document to PDF it produces a blank PDF document.
I have tried using Bullzip PDF printer but that also produced a blank PDF.
Got the "Cannot open a blank document" ERROR Message when I went to open a recently created Corel Draw X5 file. Using Windows 7 Professional.First time I've gotten this message.

I have looked back through the file and found that the ones that do not appear also no longer show the image in the symbol library but when i insert them in to the drawing they show up fine.
Have some pics in X4 on Windows 7 but same are not opening in X 12/ Windows 8.
When copied from X4/Windows7 and pasted in X12/Windows 8, icon showing blank and on opening a blank document opens.

when I create a new blank document, it size always become multiply of 10 (example Page size A4 = 2100mm x 2970mm) and in the document, when I draw a new object, it will automatical multiply with 10, too. I'm using Windows 7, and I never seen this problem before, when I using Windows XP!
I am running CorelDraw x5 Graphics Suite on Windows 7. When publishing to pdf on even simple corel files it is saving a pdf size of over 1.5GBs! The screenshot below is a 57 page corel file ALL text and vector with NO bitmaps images. Publishing to pdf creates a file size 1.59GBs. Is there a patch that is out that resolves this issue?

When you open a file or import a file the preview window image is blurred. It was not that way in X5.

Blank Blocks behind text and graphics
I have this script that basically makes a shape expand by adding an outline, conveting the outline to an object, and then welding the whole thing together.
I have the script set to execute with hotkey ctrl+numpad+
The odd thing is, when I run it once, it seems to work fine and only one object is left, but when I hold down ctrl and press numoad+ over and over again, it seems to produce a new copy of the object everytime.
I'm not sure why this is happening, but I need to get it to stop.

I regularly design multi-page design drawings for sign manufacturing, and was operating normally in X3 on a Dell Dual Core up to yesterday, when suddenly app won't successfully publish to PDF. It just spins, or produces a file that has blank pages or some huge empty file that shows it to be over 150MB in size (normally my files are under 8 MB). I tried a complete uninstall/reinstall of program twice now, but only to have same results.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI am making a Blurb photo book in CDx4. Everything goes very well. But then I try to publish the result to pdf/x3, as requested by Blurb. The colors of the bitmaps are wrong, dull. I try to publish to acrobat 4. Everything is all right. Other pdf formats seem to do very good as well.
I think it has something to do with rgb and cmyk, but whatever I try to change, it does not work. I converted the bitmaps to cmyk, I changed things in the color management (had things with that in the past -> color management off seems the best), nothing works.
Just upgraded my X5 to X6. So far so good, except pop up menus are blank. See image below. Am I missing a setting somewhere, or is this a Windows XP Pro problem? I have my screen resolution set to the Corel recommended 1024x768.
View 7 Replies View RelatedI managed to get a nice set of different settings to publish a corel file to pdf. Now I would like copy these settings to multiple other pc's in the office. where a can find the file/folder in which these settings are being saved?
Otherwise I would have to set all different pc's individually and I rather spend my time otherwise.
When you print a file from corel you have the option to choose always overprint black, but when I make a pdf with publish to pdf in the advanced tab I have only the option to preserve document overprint, and the black text is knocked out. Is there a solution to that, other then manually setting black text to overprint fill in corel?

View 1 Replies View Relatedi have been working on this project in corel draw12 for several weeks now, as it is or/was coming to its final stages a few days ago it now only opens a blank page, it is 2.14 gb and it will get bigger as it reaches its final stages.i can still see it in preview. when it was opening it took a very long time to open i realise the reason for this is the size im using very high resolution images and designing and editing, or maybe there is another program that you may recommend that will support the size so i can complete my work.
i found a backup copy but it will not import the size is 1.70 gb seems its still too large to open ,
i don't think it has anything to do with memory , i have a full drive laptop is new. my thoughts are that corel draw will not open a file that size, and you are right about breaking it up i should have worked in several sheets but saved them desperately.
When I try to open an X5 template in X6, nothing happens in X6. I don't receive any error messages. It looks like the template is opening, but I just end up with a blank grey (no file opened) slate. I am using the 32-bit build. Everything else seems fine.

all of my Cdr files be corrupted . they show their real size (eg 23mb ) but when i open them it show white page. I have been using X3 for years, then decided to upgrade to 4 which I did, however I stopped using X4 as I could not see the Fonts display in the fly out box as they show blank so you can not see what the text would look like say in 'Bold' or 'Italic' or in a different font. I keep trying to sort it then I just go back to X3 but I really want to use X4 (I have X5 which does exactly the same thing.) I have looked at the 'Font settings' in X3 & compared to X4 checked and unchecked boxes, still no different. I did have X4 loaded on another old computer, which I uninstalled, thinking this may be the problem. Didn't change anything, so I have just uninstalled and reinstalled on the computer I am using now but still no good.
My operating system is still windows XP not sure if this is the cause?
I am using Corel X3...I am trying to create a PDF in Corel X3 but the pdf is coming out blank? On smaller files they work out OK. I have re-sampled the images to make them smaller but it is not working? The file size is 31mb.I have made PDF's before and it is easy, but this is frustrating now. I have even uninstalled Corel and re-installed. Changed PDF generating programs too. I am now using Nitro Reader.

I have some big files that slow the computer down when working on them. Can I some how tell how big a picture is within corel draw.. ie It would be nice to be able to right click on a picture that I have imported into the workspace and it show me how many mega bytes it is.
Then I can go through my files and delete the larger pcs and make them smaller.
As it is now, I have to pretty much delete them all and start again to find dthe few pics that are like 3-5mb in size.
How do I get X5 to open with a new blank page as default?
If I enable the welcome screen it asks me what I want to open but if I disable it all I get is a grey area and I have to go to the drop down file menu ans select 'new page'.
I have a custom palette set on two machines. If I save a file on one and then open it on the other, the second machine does not recognize the custom colors and leaves the object blank. I can click on the palette and correct this but can I set it so that the colors will load correctly when I open the files.

Well the actual problem started when i recently tried to publish PDF for one of my client's brochure of 17 pages, X5 closes all of a sudden and i have to restart the whole process. At times it creates a PDF which then has errors and Acrobat Reader don't read it.At times X5 even gives Error while saving files.
