Aug 23, 2012Blank/Black Screen when opening some CorelDraw files.
I have several hundred CorelDraw files with various images and design that I use for printing for our business.
Recently I have opened files to discover either blank or black screen in the CorelDraw file. I can use Object Manager to see that the image and text are still present, but I cannot view it. I can also export the image to a PDF even though I cannot view it. Other files open without any issue. One file opened fine and then when I went to cut an image the file turned black and is now in the same condition as other files with the problem.
Using CorelDraw X4.
Photoshop :: Screen Refresh Issue.
Jun 26, 2008I just started using Photoshop CS3. I've found that when using it occasionally other application windows will stop refreshing properly, and will only sparatically update. Has anyone else encountered this? I'm on Xp Pro with 4GB and dual xeons.

Jul 11, 2012Can I get Revit to extent to both screens, without having to manually adjust the size so it fits on one side, instead of both?
(Example: I want a floor plan on my left screen (maximized automatically to screen 1 (left), then a 3D view on the right as a reference (maximized automatically to screen 2 (right), to see what is going on instantly!).
I have a NVIDIA QUADRO 4000 installed with the latest driver.
If I have 2 screens. I want the amazing aspects of Revit to be used in creative and efficient ways...
Revit needs to fix it. After all Revit is the best tool man can ask for.
AutoCAD 2010 :: Screen Refresh / Dialog Box Disappearance
Feb 8, 2012Why do the dialog boxes and right click menus disappear underneath AutoCAD 2012? It does not happen every time, only most of the time. I can roll the mouse pointer over were the box or menu is supposed to be and some of the buttons and textboxes will reappear but not all.

Mar 17, 2014Must have been something I installed earlier in the day or late last night because the way InDesign CC nows redraws the screen is painfully slow. It's true that an Upgrade has been applied this morning through the CreativeCloud panel? I'm on Windows 8.1 running 9.2 x64. This Dell XPS8700 machine has never disappointed. 16 gig of RAM, fast Nvidia video card, 7200 RPM hard drive. It's just zippy! But now, I don't know what could be wrong? I don't have other processes running in the background. I checked to make sure I have the latest drivers for my video card. I tried trashing the Prefs file. The only thing I have not tried is to restart the system?
Other than that, I suppose it's always possible to uninstall and re-install InDesign CC?

Mar 28, 2012Just started with CDRX6 (Upgrade) and find a frustrating feature with text in text frames. If you import text into a frame and then move the position of the frame in the layout, the text repositions in a waterfall motion within the frame. It takes a second or two to settle down, and the frame also jumps position somewhere else en route before reaching the point you are dragging it to. It can be moved more smoothly using the arrow keys, but that is painfully slow.
I do not have this problem with X5. Is it a symptom of some new feature in X6, or is it a fault in installation?

Jun 6, 2013I use external/linked images because the file is multipaged and as I am working continuously on it every "Save" command takes less time.
Every image is there on HDD in the same folder as CDR-file. Today I opened this file and the images look very bad - one couldn't see what is pictured there. The question is how to refresh them? I don't see such an option.

Jul 8, 2013I am having this issue with the new PS CC. It happens whenever I try to add/edit a text. Pick the text tool, click onto the work and -- bang! -- the whole work screen gets blank. Depending on the project size it may get stable at a certain ammount of zoom and keep blinking (or go completely blank) at other zoom factors. If I finish text editing the screen gets back to normal. Funny is that if I type something, it will be there, so the problem seems to be with the viewport.
PS: Currently I am going to download and install back the CS6 version as the issue reported above does not happen with it.

I start to drag around an area to make a selecton, and the screen goes blank so that I can't see where I'm making the selection. When I release the mouse, the image appears again. Another problem which may be related is that sometimes when I zoom in, the screen goes blank. Closing Photoshop and re-launching it usually fixes the problem, but is an annoying time-waster. I have the most current update from the Cloud for Photoshop CS6, 13.1.2.X64.

May 3, 2013Whenever I attempt to marquee select (click-hold and drag a box) in Viewport 2.0, the viewport becomes a blank white screen and instead of drawing a box my mouse draws a single thick line. When I release the mouse, the viewport will not return to normal until I move the camera. It actually does perform the selection that I would expect. However, not being able to see what I'm doing is a bit of a pain sometimes.
The irony is that it actually works fine in default and high quality modes, but I'm not able to use those because the transparency sorting is really wonky and doesn't let me see what I'm trying to work on from the angles that I need. Only Viewport 2.0 solves that problem.

Oct 22, 2010Occasionally the text is upside down in tables (mirrored, not 180 degrees). This seems to mostly happen after I copy another table and edit the information. The mirrored text actually is hidden until you double click the cell to edit it. Now, after playing around with one of these cases I can't even select the text at all, it is completely hidden and I can't type anything in the cell.

Jul 14, 2011Any way to produce tables, as in an invoice/form, where the outside border has rounded corners? Quite often my print customers want their invoice or statement to have rounded rather than square cornered boxes. When the whole form needs to be done as a table I can't do this. Masking it out works on a solid fill, but not on an outline.
