i just installed the 2012 autocad on my laptop and everytime i use trim or rotate or anything else the screen just goes black and the computer freezes for a few seconds and then it comes back and tell me that its trying to adjust the program with the monitor but it never ends and it keeps doing the same thing. btw my laptop specs are: windows7 home premium, intel i5, 6gb ddr3, intel HD3000 graphics.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have a user in my group that is hesitant to upgrade to 2012 because , he has many lisp routines that are associated with the PREVIOUS selection feature. This selection is very useful in that when you are moving or selecting many objects you can enter P for previous and the object will be selected.
In 2009, when you select objects then hit escape, then try to execute a command requesting to use the Previous, AutoCAD will remember the last selected object and then highlight it.
In 2012, when you select objects then hit escape, then try to execute a command using P for previous, it will not highlight the previous object selected but will highlight the previous object where a command was executed on.
Hope I haven't lost you. It seems there should be a setting under SELECTION of how to manipulate the Previous selection feature.
This is the problem I have. When I type something, ie a line length or a command, ie purge, whatever it is I type it is not shown in the command line... what am I doing wrong or what setting do I need to change..

I can't find the command line, even after typing "commandline".And the search feature doesn't do anything.And I can't find where to send a helpdesk plea for support.
Is there a way how I can unselect element one at the time?
Example if I do fillets and I select wrong edge and I want to unselect only that because I have selected example twenty edges already and dont wont to throw away all work what I have already done.
I'm sure it's something basic but whenever I close a PS file, I end up with an empty frame. Tools and menu bars are there. When I close the file, I want to see my desktop, not a blank PS window. How do you get rid of that blank frame?

if you care to not click-through, the problem is that certain commands (not all of them) simply do not disply in the command line. so the MOVE command for example looks like this:
NORMAL:
Command: _move
Select objects:
NOW:
Command:
Select objects:
same with QSAVE and who knows how many others.
I am having this issue with the new PS CC. It happens whenever I try to add/edit a text. Pick the text tool, click onto the work and -- bang! -- the whole work screen gets blank. Depending on the project size it may get stable at a certain ammount of zoom and keep blinking (or go completely blank) at other zoom factors. If I finish text editing the screen gets back to normal. Funny is that if I type something, it will be there, so the problem seems to be with the viewport.
PS: Currently I am going to download and install back the CS6 version as the issue reported above does not happen with it.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI am using the final released Photoshop CS6 software, not beta, and am having the same issue with the Patch tool. I start to drag around an area to make a selecton, and the screen goes blank so that I can't see where I'm making the selection. When I release the mouse, the image appears again. Another problem which may be related is that sometimes when I zoom in, the screen goes blank. Closing Photoshop and re-launching it usually fixes the problem, but is an annoying time-waster. I have the most current update from the Cloud for Photoshop CS6, 13.1.2.X64.

The weird thing is i can click and edit the area of the grey screen and if i click OK to finish the liquifying it has edited the image! Why can i not see my image whilst in the liquify screen? The code then prompts the user to add additional selections once these handle selections are made. No problem. The problem lies with attempting to deselect the objects that were selected via object handles. I should say highlighted because that is what the present code is doing. It is highlighting the objects on screen. The code I am using follows:

I have several hundred CorelDraw files with various images and design that I use for printing for our business.
Recently I have opened files to discover either blank or black screen in the CorelDraw file. I can use Object Manager to see that the image and text are still present, but I cannot view it. I can also export the image to a PDF even though I cannot view it. Other files open without any issue. One file opened fine and then when I went to cut an image the file turned black and is now in the same condition as other files with the problem.
Using CorelDraw X4.
What are the blank gray screen with a box in the middle? Is a photo missing and if so how do I find the photo?
View 1 Replies View RelatedIf I select some objects (i.e. pipe, feature line, etc.) and right click to bring up my shortcuts, I click on SOME commands (i.e. object viewer, elevation editor, etc....respectively, the command does not progress....it forces me back to a selection box cursor and I have to reselect the object.
For example, I select a pipe, I then right click, shortcut menu pops up, I select "object viewer", and then my previous slection is not granted and it asked for a new selection (it used to always just proceed with the command), I then have to select the pipe I had previously seleted, and the command proceeds as normal.
not a bid deal, but it slowing down my productivity having to select these items twice. The wierd thing is that it is not like this with all of my right click short cut commands...only a few!?

View 2 Replies View RelatedWhenever I attempt to marquee select (click-hold and drag a box) in Viewport 2.0, the viewport becomes a blank white screen and instead of drawing a box my mouse draws a single thick line. When I release the mouse, the viewport will not return to normal until I move the camera. It actually does perform the selection that I would expect. However, not being able to see what I'm doing is a bit of a pain sometimes.
The irony is that it actually works fine in default and high quality modes, but I'm not able to use those because the transparency sorting is really wonky and doesn't let me see what I'm trying to work on from the angles that I need. Only Viewport 2.0 solves that problem.
I'm currently having diffulties editing my selections, specifically lines, hatching etc through the properties command. When I select a polyline or hatch and then select properties it shows that there is no selection. However if I select text I can edit the text style, but I can't change the colour. I've tried to change back to the default settings but that hasn't work.

To clarify I have footage in the main Video track and a couple of overlays, which are ending with the footage in the main video where a transition has to be made. Is there any way that that one transition is making a transition for the main Video track and the (selected) overlay tracks?
I wanted to attach a sample file (zip smart package). Seems zips are forbidden? Did at least attach a screen shot.
