when i'm going to print may files with 36 layers, corel x5 will close and nothing happen in printing.
note: the file is edited in corel x3 but the printing will done in x5.
Print preview shows objects spaced correctly. But when it prints them, it compresses them together on the page (but the objects are sized correctly).
When I print the same file from a different computer on the network to the same printer, the objects are spaced correctly.
Which leads me to conclude it's a setting in CorelDraw on the first computer. Also, I reset all the default settings in CorelDraw using the F8 technique, but that didn't solve the problem.
To print all open windows in Illustrator CS5 (or illustrator files in a folder) then close the files.

View 6 Replies View RelatedI used to use HP photosmart c4480 to print film for own screen printing job. I use coreldraw to print back colour logo and use special photo paper and max dpi to print and got a good printing on back colour.
But after I moved to new factory, the printing change to all green colour. I thought may be the ink problem, then I change the new ink but can't fix it. I try to use the other printer but same.
I use same printer and photoshop to print some photo is OK.
DWG to PDF is not printing certain files correctly. It appears to only happen with the dots hatch pattern and the Dots linetype with a 0.0003" lineweight in the CTB file. The lines with the issue have color and pline width (zero). Print preview show, plotting to a printer, and using adobe show the lineweight correctly but using DWG to PDF does not.

I was playing around with my settings and did something that is keeping me from printing. When I go to print preview, the page is blank. I have tried opening up jobs that I successfully printed before and they also show and print blank. Everything looks normal in the work area. I just can't print.
View 14 Replies View RelatedWhenever I perform a PrintMerge the print dialog and its options are reset everytime I leave the print dialog.
Usually you hit print set parameters and hit apply, you now can cancel the dialog and hit print again, your previous settings should still be there. Same goes if you actually print and want to repeat the print process, as long as you dont close the document. This works for normal printing but fails with print merge.
Every time I close the dialog (not the document) all the settings are back to default. This did not happen in X5 and is very annoying since it resets to default even if you actually hit print, forcing you to set the parameters every time.

To print business cards, I selected Label AVERY 5371 - 2X 3.5 BusCr. Print preview looks good. There is no any visible alignment problems.
When printing is completed (Linen paper AVERY 5371), there is about 2 millimeters alignment problem for each card. I created my own template and the print is with the same results. The printer I use is Canon MP830 ink jet.
While I was first working with CorelDraw13, I tried exporting a file that had a layer that was hidden, but printable. I got a warning/error window notifying my of the problem. In the corner, there was a check box option to not display that warning/error message.
Now, I am trying to get that window to show up again.
Why files received from different architects affect how my plot style prints? I'm using my set plotstyle but plots are almost too light to read. Layers are set to default line weights in both files. This printing problem happens in both model and paper space. Using AutoCAD 2012 standard.

problem: once imported into CorelDraw, in the print dialog the pre flight will analyze the document and it takes forever; if it does not crash, once completed every other function takes forever to edit (Ex: to deselect a spot color will take 15-20 seconds to implement)- then when printing, errors occur.
1) previous versions of Coreldraw does not have this problem
2) this happens with all printers, even pdf print driver.
3) workaround that works: save the channeled eps file as a Photoshop file.

When printing from PS CC using the print dialogue box I am getting a severe red shift in the final print. When I print the same image from PS CS5 or CS6 I get a color-correct print.
I am running a MacPro with OS 10.7.5, and printing to a Canon iPF8300 with its latest firmware and print driver. I am using the proper ICC profile for the paper. In the print dialogue box, I select "Photoshop Manages Colors".
A couple things I noticed: In the "Print Settings" where I dial in the printer setup, the settings for "Color" are both turned off (Colorsync & Vendor).In the printer driver settings (still within "Print Settings") the "Color" tab is grayed out, but when I click the "Settings" for that sub-panel, Colorsync is selected.When I printed the image from the Canon PS Plug-in, the red cast was gone, but the blacks were too heavy (there is no "Black Point Compensation" check box available because the Canon plug-in uses Adobe Color Engine for that, and it's only 32-bit and won't run).
I have just bought and installed Lightroom 5 and need to set my print size to A3 and in the future even bigger. I do not have the facility at home and need to have them sized correctly for the print shop so they do not have to waste time resizing them. I am at a loss how to do this. I cant find any settings for this size print. A3 is roughly 42 x 29.7 cm.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI just purchased and installed X5 on my Win 7 Pro system. I work with large files (8-10MB) using multiple OLE linked CDR files and bitmaps. When I export to PDF using the built-in exporter, most of the OLE files do not print and the ones that do are corrupted. I have made a work around using doPDF V7, but believe this should work out of the box.

In X4 it was very easy - just export as usual to the highest quality cmyk jpg and open in Photo Paint... now when I export this way it takes forever to bring up the preview page and most of the time it ends up being blank. Sometimes even crashes. I have played with all options in the filter dialog menu that I can find but nothing works. Thought it might be a file size problem but never had that problem in X4 and anything under 200dpi will not be high enough quality.

View 1 Replies View RelatedHas any with CorelDraw X5 creating files that should be around 5 MB growing up to like 550 MB for no reason? Also have you reopened a file you had recently created and there be like 40 extra Layer 1's that are empty? I have had both of these happen. I have had work done to my machine and also reinstalled CorelDraw and those files apparently have a rogue bitmap or something in them b/c nothing is fixing it. Could be a corrupt file that a customer has sent me for their ad, but what element within a file is the culprit or if it's possible for a file to even work right if it's got a corrupt element in it?
I am losing money daily having to wait for 500 MB files to open and sometimes having to start over on ads b/c it locks my Corel up and I lose changes. Sometimes locks while saving updates and crashes.
way to to automate a workflow as follows:
1. drop or select a folder of pics (sometimes up to 200 images)
2. create a contact sheet - just like the "File > Automate > Contact Sheet II" (I make contact sheets/proofs of 2-4 images per page)
3. print all the contact sheets on 8.5x11" sheets of paper
4. close contact sheets w/o saving.
I can't seem to combine the Contact Sheet II with other actions.
Alternatively I could continue to create my contact sheets with the existing Contact Sheet II tool, then save, then drag to print window/icon - but it would be much easier to handle it one step.
I also looked for Automator actions and can't seem to nail this thing. I even considered iPhoto - it does this "standard prints" thing which works great but I need the file names in the contact sheets (bummer).

View 6 Replies View RelatedI have two layers. One is set to red color, the other to blue color (using ctb). I have both layers defaulted to 1 mm line weight thickness. Blue is continuous and Red is dashed.
When printing the blue layer prints at the correct weight of 1mm, while the dashed red layer prints at a much smaller thickness. All line properties are set to default or bylayer (this is not being caused by the lines having individual special properties).
Just a guess but with 64 bit Coreldraw maybe we would be able to Print Merge large files without crashing or having to break it into digestible bits.

Computer memory is no longer the issue - 32 bit computer programs are.Until then I will stay with X4. run in Windows 7, 64 bit with 12 Gigs RAM.
just starting using cs2 v9.0 and found out that the usual layer selecting by pressing ctrl and clicking on the layer did not work. it really drive me crazy. and why they change the linked layer feature, there are no longer little box to linked layers anymore.
