Why do sometimes texts (in my autocad 2011) seem or appear distorted as the one of the texts shown below:

Aas you may notice, the lower written text is not as "neat" as the above one, although evrything for these two texts are same: style, layer, height, font, ...????
When exporting drawings to PDFs, one computer distorts all text as shown here:
When exporting the exact same file to PDF from any other computer, the text appears correctly as shown here:
All computers are running Inventor 2014. What could cause these results? Can the text settings be customized?
How can I transform a text box so one side might be at an angle, curved, and so forth.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI have an image that I want to print, but the text therein is all rippled and chunky and horror B-movie style. (This isn't a wave filter I've put on and been unable to reverse or anything like that, it's just unfortunate.)
So, what the quickest way I could go about tightening up the text so that it looks undistorted? I'm there's a faster method than using paths for it..

My layout screen looks distorted. Here is the drawing, you will see the chairs and tables are off a bit in angle. I pulled up my view screen and the Z is at 1" which I don't know if that means anything, but it won't let me edit.

The angle on the layout is slightly distorted. When I open the drawing on another computer it is fine. Even when I brought in a new chair ( on the right of the layout) at what is supposed to be a 90 degree angle it is slightly off?

View 3 Replies View RelatedI am using .Net API's with AutoCad 2011. I am using "Calibri" Font in my WinForm Dialog Box with a height 9.75. Loading the dll and functionality is perfect. No issue is there.
BUT, Now the problem is, whenever I am opening that form in AutoCad, the labels of that form is changed as the AutoCad substitute font for missing font files (in my PC it is "simplex.shx") !! But in Combobox, Treeview, Listboxes the same font is used and it is perfect there. Problem is only in the Label. I wonder why this is happening. I used a table layout panel in my form with 3 rows and 4 columns. Now placed the label in one cell of that table layout panel. In fact I placed the combobox, listboxes are also in other cells of that table layout panel.
why the font is changing in WinForm?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm Alex and I am new to Inventor. We just switched to Invetor From CAD and have been learning as i go mostly. I have been experiencing problems that are leading to major setbacks due to requireing me to redraw multiple items. With my job we have to use wide flange beams and square columns etc..I'm able to draw the indidviual parts and at times have no problem with anything being offset, crooked, skewed or anything. But I find that I'm doing something in the assembly process that is causiing my parts to become skewed/distorted in the assembly and thus also on my view layouts for prints.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI have tried copying/pasting into word from AutoCAD and the quality is not good, very distorted.
I have also tried WMFOUT and didn't like the quality either when pasting into Word.
My best option has been to plot and save as a .jpg, and the quality is great except the black lines turn grey and I really need it to be black. Is there a way to make it look black?
I am having a problem with a view being shown rendered.
I have a tall piece of material handling equipment that is drawn to scale and is approximately 30' tall. When I render the view and take a shot of it, it looks angled based on the camera angle, when in reality it should appear straight (see attached picture).
How do I get this to look correctly?
I often use gradient cylindrical fill to paint pipes, however if gradient has to fill wide boundry it gets distorted, i found the way of making a short block and scaling it, gradient fill is consistent. It's ok but i want to make a dynamic block out of it and i cant, also if i explode this block gradient fill problem reappears (see pic)
Basicly i want similar looking hatch but without problem.
I am currently working on a culvert drawing, using two view ports for my plan and profile sheet. As you can see below in my attachment, the UCS icon in the upper viewport is distorted, I do not how this occurred nor do I know how to correct it.

I have checked all the plugs and no other programs have this problem.I have photoshop CS6 and up until just over a week ago it was working perfectly fine on both monitors.
I am trying to design wedding invitations for my sister, but the fonts look distorted. I use a template created by my printing company, and the resolution is automatically set at 250. I view the sample at 100%, but can see where the edges of the fonts look "pixilized" and not crisp. Even when I print them they look this way. I have tried over 20 fonts but they are all doing this. Is there a special setting that I need to use to have the edges of the fonts look crisp?

I have just bough a Toshiba Satellite P100 which has a 17" screen. I have put a photo of my daughter on the Desktop but because of the width of the screen it is distorted sideays (widened).
How can I use Photoshop to cancel the datortion by compressing it?

I'm converting images for print. I converted my raw RGB JPG files to CMYK tiff files. The converted pictures look fine in photoshop and windows picture viewer. When I import them in Quark my pictures colors show up very distorted.
View 7 Replies View RelatedI have just spent several days putting a project together. Mainly still images with some digital video.
When I rendered the project (pal 16_9 frame based also tried lower first) the result is far from acceptable. It looks like a low res picture although I rendered with high quality settings (the same ones I have used many times before) Straight lines seem to have a slight saw tooth effect. If I utilize an overlay the problem is suddenly much more pronounced. Wether this is caused by the overlay itself or the fact that the images are enlarged slightly I don't know.
The video clips from my digital video camera seem to be ok, the problem being mainly with the still images.
By the way the same images created as a slide show in movie factory are perfect.
I have a fast computer with vista installed and had excellent results earlier in the year with another sinilar project.
Using pro x4, when he imports a AVCHD clip and plays it back, the audio is distorted. The same clips audio is fine playing directly from the desktop, using windows media player. It also plays back fine in another video editing program.
(O.S Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit).
I have a 16:9 video and when I select "save as still image", the resultant image is squeezed into 4:3 and doesnt look good. I cant see anything in preferences that allows me to adjust this. Can I tweak "save as still image" so it keeps the correct aspect ratio?

When I preview the clip itself the sound is perfect. However when I preview he actual project, the sound is distorted.?
This is a new CS4 install on Vista. Never used Photoshop before. Every image I open shows up looking distorted like a plaid grid pattern. Is this a display / video issue? Attached xml image.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI just edited my my top 15 pics of a shoot i just did. I saved them in the RAW format. I didnt save the origional NEF, because i didnt want to not have the origional .NEF i took. It also saved a .XMP of the file. Ok, so saving goes fine, but when I open it again... it asks me about size, and some other things... I have no idea why its asking these things... I put in some numbers close to the picture size... and it opens grayscale, and totally distorted....most of them are just many lines...

Just started to explore gimp. Have an application for distortion effects, but need to know the following. If I create a square (jpeg) that is exactly 50% black and 50% white and then distort the image using, for example 'i warp' or 'whirl & pinch', will the colour proportions of the resultant image still be exactly 50/50?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI know, I know. This question has been asked a million times already. Unfortunately the Align New Objects to Pixel Grid / Snap to pixel grid tip doesn't work for me. When I scale the image down to tiny proportions, the path becomes horribly, sickeningly distorted. It certainly seems like the pixels are being snapped to some kind of grid, but as you can see in the screenshot, the option is disabled. I tried switching between RGB and CMYK with no luck but I havent messed with the document profile past that. I am not yet ready to spend another few hours recreating the image.
I am using Illstrator CS6. Everything except the "web studio" is a path.
How could this happen? I tried to scale a logo down to fit a stamp and Illustrator destroys it by distorting the paths.

I am new to Illustrator. I have designed a new logo using Illustrator CS6 to the best of my knowledge. I now need to create business cards etc for printing but when I save it to jpeg it becomes very distorted after the file is uploaded to the printing site. Even if I cut and paste to another artboard it become distorted as well.
