when I comand to draw the polyline like: 0,0 -> 10,0 -> 10,15 -> c
I can get the property of closed is True
but if I type : 0,0 -> 10,0 -> 10,15 ->0,0
I get the of closed is False becase 1st point and last point are overlaped.
so how to delete one of endpoints with VBA?
I know there is a Spline command in the AutoCAD.
Can I create a B-spline which has two endpoints and two control points in AutoCAD similar as the one in the Solidworks?
If there's a way to make endpoints visible on selected lines / polylines while drawing new lines/polylines or running other routines.
View 9 Replies View RelatedI've been working with Civil 3D for a while and I've gotten the Profile View and Data Bands down.Whenever we create an alignment with only two vertices (at each endpoint) and make the Northings, Eastings, and Elevations show in the data bands, the start and end show no data. (As below) Now I'm sure the data band is set up correctly because if I add a vertex somewhere along the alignment, all the missing data shows up.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI have a .DWF underlay that I am tracing over an aerial. I need to create hatches for several areas, and tried to PEDIT the lines and arcs into a polyline. Several segments, however, were not "connected" to the adjacent segments even though I'd meticulously snapped to endpoints to draw the lines.
Is there a command or LISP routine to check for connectivity before I attempt PEDIT so I can fix the gaps first?
The green line is parallel with the blue line. I want to move the green line upwards until its endpoints intersect with the two red lines.

To join, you must select two open endpoints. If they are not on the same path, they cannot be on text paths nor inside graphs, and if both of them are grouped, they must be in the same group.
Here's what I have. Both paths are in the same group. I zoom to max and both ends are on top of each other. So, why am I kept getting this error message when trying to join them? I tried to Average and there is no error but yet the path is not closed.
I have been using the line tool rather frequently as of late and have found it to be quite useful. More to the point, midway through lining over something my lines stopped showing endpoints to snap to when I wished to place another, resulting in some rather unpleasantly rough shapes. My question is: what did I press / change to do this, and how can I go about un-doing it?
View 4 Replies View RelatedI made a silhouette of buildings and I"m wanting to connect the bottom open endpoints into one straight line. The reason I'm doing this is because I want to add a fill to the silhouette as a whole instead of doing them one by one.
I tried joining paths but it can only be two open endpoints at a time. I have many open endpoints.
The pen tool only joins two open endpoints. If I try to continue to try to add another endpoint to the same line, the pen tool becomes a "minus anchor point" tool and messes up the shape of the buildings.
Of course, I thought of just making each building separate and grouping them together. However, if I do that, a issue occurs because I have certain buildings that are "in front" of each other (not in the sense of layers, but the image as a whole). I purposely made the sihlouette look like some buildlings are in front of each other and some are behind each other.

I have a contractor that created several families for us, and they left all the ref. planes full length, and I what them nearer to the objects. When I open the family all I see is ref. planes, I need to see them, I just want the closer to the parts not stick extremely far away. I can pick them one at a time, but sure would be nice to grab them at once.

I have deleted 200 bad files and the never showed up in the trash. I have been trying to clear up some disk space but the available disk still shows the same so I know they haven't been deleted. Am using Lion on a MacBook Pro 15 and am fully updated. Am I doing something wrong?

Until yesterday I was able to delete pictures, using the contextual menu or the delete key. I got the message asking me if I wanted to delete them from disk or from the catalog.
But now, that popup message doesn't appear. The picture is not removed, just nothing happens.
I checked the logs and this is the error message:
performCommandDesc could not perform command ag.library.expandAllStacks (Command was disabled.).
I uninstalled LR moving it to the trash. Then I deleted the com.adobe.Lightroom4.plist and I also removed the folder ~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Lightroom.
I rebbooted the machine and installed it again. But the issue is still there, with the same error message.
I verified the disk and checked file permissions.
I also tried to use another catalog from a backup.
Nothing, same error.
One anusual thing that I did before the error was to install the "HDRsoft Merge to 32-bit HDR Plug-in for Lightroom - Version 1.0"
I removed it but the error was still there. After the re-install I didnd't install that plug-in again so if it was the problem, it shouldn't be after the clean installation that I did again.

When I try to click on a point with the Delete Anchor Point Tool nothing happens however I am able to select the point using the Direct Selection Tool and then remove it using the "Remove selected anchor points" option in the Control palette. Same issue with trying to use the Convert Anchor Point Tool.

where various icons on your palettes just disappear? the function is still there, but no image. attached is an example where the "Add", "Delete" etc icons have gone. other times the on/off freeze/thaw images will be gone.
View 7 Replies View RelatedOn the layout page I have several viewports. 2 of my viewport borders are not visible. I can not pick them, property them, delete them, or manipulate them in any way. When I activate them as "model space" view, I can work in the model space but the border still does not become visible. I only know where the border is by the truncated drawing. Is there any way to correct this problem?
Before I get the usual "turn on your layer" responses: ALL of my layers are thawed, ALL of my layers are on. I am running Civil 3D LDD Companion but have had this "glitch" on previous versions. I seem to remember the only answer is delete layout and start a new layout from scratch. Tell me this is not so!!
After I figured out how to delete a project (why not just have a delete button in the Project Dialog box) that I didn't want created in the first place (apparently some missed option in the pack&go process) I now cannot delete the incredibly convoluted wokspace folder structure it created.
I deleted the project shortcut as was posted somewhere else and it no longer shows up in the Project dialog box. However, the workspace it created cannot be deleted. I had even removed the workspace from the project before I got rid of it.
I simply get a windows error that it cannot delete the folder(s). I am an admin of this entire folder structure and everything beneath it.
I have opened and closed inventor making sure the project is still not in existence. I have verified the workspace is not listed under any other project. No other user has been to this folder or opened any files even closely related to my work.
While in assembly, i would like to select a subpart and be able to clear or delete the value of ex description without opening the part file.
