Let's say I have downloaded 500 shots to PSE 12. I would like to go through them quickly and eliminate the ones I definitely do not want.How can I quickly tag them or whatever and then with one touch on the delete button delete them all at once?

Also, I have not been able to register my product (I purchased it about a week ago. There is no serial number on the box or on the envelope the disc came in nor is it on the disc itself. I have deleted 200 bad files and the never showed up in the trash. I have been trying to clear up some disk space but the available disk still shows the same so I know they haven't been deleted. Until yesterday I was able to delete pictures, using the contextual menu or the delete key. I got the message asking me if I wanted to delete them from disk or from the catalog.
But now, that popup message doesn't appear. The picture is not removed, just nothing happens.
I checked the logs and this is the error message:
performCommandDesc could not perform command ag.library.expandAllStacks (Command was disabled.).
I uninstalled LR moving it to the trash. Then I deleted the com.adobe.Lightroom4.plist and I also removed the folder ~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Lightroom.
I rebbooted the machine and installed it again. But the issue is still there, with the same error message.
I verified the disk and checked file permissions.
I also tried to use another catalog from a backup.
Nothing, same error.
One anusual thing that I did before the error was to install the "HDRsoft Merge to 32-bit HDR Plug-in for Lightroom - Version 1.0"
I removed it but the error was still there. After the re-install I didnd't install that plug-in again so if it was the problem, it shouldn't be after the clean installation that I did again.

How can I delete the photos from my camera's SD card with Photoshop? I click on "Removable Disk" to get to the SD card, then click on the photo I want to remove, but the "Delete" choice does not appear. I never had any trouble like this with CS2.

View 11 Replies View RelatedI have found that I cannot delete any photos from LR 4.1 using any delete command (from disc choice). Ctrl+Backspace method or right click -> delete method. No amount of fussing going to other files and then back to the ones I want to delete works. Rebooting the program doesn't work. Google search shows that this may be a known bug.
I cannot delete anything in LR (from disc) and can only delete one file at a time from explorer (directly from LR - that is, LR will not show me more than one file at a time in explorer). I am on new computer (never had this issue before): Windows 7 professional 64 bit, processor i7-3770 3.40 GHz, 16GB RAM.
Now I find that I cannot move files at all through the LR 4.1 interface.Perhaps windows is not giving permission to LR to move anything?

View 8 Replies View RelatedI've just been told by a customer that "Delete Rejected Photos" in a Smart Collection no longer works in LR5. Previously it was possible to delete photos from the catalog, even when viewed in a Smart Collection, by marking them as "rejected" and then using the "Delete Rejected Photos" command. Is this a deliberate change?
It seems as though this has also changed from a static collection. "Delete Rejected Photos" asks if I want to "remove the <n> rejected photos from Lightroom" but in fact only removes them from the collection.
I edited some photos today using GIMP 2.8.
I am now unable to delete the edited photos, rename the edited photos, or move the edited photos to another folder. Basically, they are stuck in their spot. I'm not even able to pull up the "Properties" selection from right-clicking the edited photo.
I tried to open them using IrfanView, but when I go to delete the photo using that program, it makes it not respond.
I can open the photo up in Paint, save it as a different format, and delete it - but the original edited photo is still there.
How can I move and delete edited photos? I've never ran into this problem in all the years I've been using GIMP.

Lightroom 4 imports photos and videos from my iPhone and puts them where I want them to go, and names the directories the way I want. All good. But it also leaves the photos on the phone to be manually deleted. Is there some way to have it delete the photos after import?
