Sep 5, 2013I didn't have any template charged in my Revit, so I've tried to ADD Features or to Repair it or even Uninstall but i just receive the message that it is unable to do it!

Jun 13, 2011When I checked my computer for any any unused programs I got see this coreldraw (r) graphics suite x5 installed. When I got to uninstall it showed and error message that some sort of setup.xml is missing. When I checked this programs folder I got to see that there are two corel folders [Corel and Corel (2) ] in my C: drive. After checking all the file locations of different corel applications I deleted the Corel (2) foder. After that also corel was not being uninstalled. I don't want to re-format my computer only for this

Jan 4, 2009it's been a couple of days since i tried out Photoshop CS4 and Dreamweaver CS4 to see how they compare to the CS3 versions, it worked fine and all till suddenly it stopped working, so i been trying to uninstall/reinstall to get it working under the free trial limit i still have left (27 days as of this writing) it still will not work.
Sometimes i would install Photoshop/Dreamweaver and say an error occurred and some components were unable to install and would be unable to load the file even after doing what the instructions say...
Same goes for when i try to uninstall both Photoshop/Dreamweaver, i would try to uninstall and would still remain in my program files...
I am completely stumped on what to do, i can't even re-install photoshop/dreamweaver cs3 as well due to this...
I am running on Vista 32bit SP1 Pack on HP Pavilion, i want to completely get rid of CS4 versions and go back to my reliable CS3 again,

Jul 30, 2013I recently started having trouble when I try to save a file. It started about an hour ago. I have been working on this file all day with no problems. What is happening is when I do a quick save or a save as I get an error that says "unable to save to drawing F:NNorthview SchoolsHS - Phase 5, 6 & 7NH-EPSF1A13.dwg. Drawing saved to F:NNorthview SchoolHS - Phases 5,6 & 7savACD.tmp"
If I do a save as It will say the same thing but it will delete the existing file that I tried to save over. I have to do another save as to get the file back. I think this is specific to this drawing because I have not had it happen with any other file.
I ran Recover on the two exref files as well as the working file. No errors are found. I have purged all the files and tried again but it did not work.

Apr 1, 2013For the past couple of weeks I have been getting a message that autocad cannot save dwg because it is being accessed by another session. This doesn't happen everytime I try to save, and it happens in differant files. After hitting save 4 or 5 times it will usually let me save the dwg. but then I have to go into the folder and clean out all the temp files. I know that none of the other users in my office have the dwg open when this happens so I'm at a loss as to whats causing it.

Nov 2, 2012I jumped from 2010 to 2013 when switching jobs.I have to load my profile every time I start AutoCAD, it will not save as default. Also within my profile I created, some setting I have to reclick as they are not saving within the profile. I change the setting, hit apply, the save profile as currrent.I do also have an issure with the settings changing within different drawings. I will go to options and have to re check some boxes, and I havent closed AutoCAD yet.

Uninstall AutoCAD and delete registry and reinstall - same problem
Log in using other ID and repeat above still same problem
Uninstall, delete all AutoDesk folder in Program file and ProgramData and reinstall all AutoDesk product (AutoCAD and NavisWork)
Problem still same.,
No problem with NavisWork only AutoCAD

AutoCAD 2013 :: Unable To Copy Viewports
Oct 9, 2013So in the last week or so, my C3D 2014 randomly decided not to copy viewports. It copies the box, but nothing in it. Plus you can't go into model space in the copied viewport. Just looks and acts like a normal rectangular polyline. But when you check the properties, it still says it is indeed a "Viewport" object.
Short of reinstalling the software, any setting that would cause this?

Jan 10, 2013I have tried to import a DWG-file to my drawing. But it does not work. The XREF-file just appears as dots on the screen. The DWG-file I try to import has another UCS. Is that the problem?
I can do it the opposite way, import the file with the normal World-UCS into the file the different UCS.
AutoCAD 2013 :: Unable To Save Drawing
Oct 23, 2012I am using Map 3D 2013 on a Windows 7 machine and am getting the following error when I try to do any save, q save or saveas: "One or more objects in this drawing cannot be saved to the specified format. The operation was not completed and no file was created."
I was working in this file yesterday and received the same error at one point. I shut CAD down and did something for a few hours before I came back and everything operated normally for a little while. I was able to make edits and save. But then this morning the error is back. Even upon opening the file and immediately trying to qsave it will give me the error. I have run an audit, purged, tried to copy everything out and save to a new file. Nothing appears to be working.
We do run network licenses and I am pulling my drawings from a server, nothing is local to my machine.

Nov 24, 2012I trying to change dimensions but they will not change.I add a block and then try to dimension it against another block but when i go to change the dimension it just remains the original dimension size. E.g. it currently is 2.895 and i go to make it 3.00 but it does not accept the new dimensions....is there a setting i could check?

Jul 6, 2012I am using 50 AutoCAD Network License and all data is on server not on local PC. When i try to save drawing it say's unable to save. Only save as is working that also i have to give different name for the file to save.
All other software's (Like Word, Excel etc.) are fine with saving data files on the same server's. Is there any Autocad variable to be changed.
Revit :: RPC - 2013 To 3Ds Max Design 2013 Won't Work
Jul 6, 2012I am wondering why RPC content in Revit Architecture 2013 is not exporting, or linking when I open up the project in 3Ds Max Desing 2013. I have tried FBX, and linking that, as well as linking an .RVT file, =either "imported" the RPC objects.
Why doesn't 3Ds Max Design support these objects and is there any way to get them into 3Ds Max.
AutoCAD 2013 :: Unable To Draw Straight Lines

I have a problem drawing straight lines. Normally, like everyone, I will start from any given point and the line i wish to draw will snap to 0, 90 or 180 degrees. However there is now no snapping and no straight lines.
I have tried resetting SNAPANG to 0 (it is already set to 0) and this works for maybe the next 3 lines but then I am back to square one and cannot draw a straight line without constantly having to reset SNAPANG.
I've tried resetting USC to world. I've also tried changing PLAN to view and world.

Aug 27, 2013I'm having some difficulty with a new issue that is occuring:I have a 3D model that I'm attempting to render. It has rendered recently with no issues. Now, this morning, I get the following error message:
Unable to create output file - Make sure destination directory is writable and that the disk is not full. Rendering aborted.The drive is only approx. 30% full. I've closed/reopened the file to no avail.Also, I've closed/restarted ACAD.It always seems that AutoCAD acts goofy whenever I have a deadline.

The reference points are not displayed on a current line (or any other figure) when I want to join another figure with it, what I mean is that the little green x or square figures won´t appear when I want to join two objects at a point. If I create a circle, for example, and I want to create another circle around it, both with the same origin, AutoCAD won´t display that origin automatically.

Jul 4, 2012I am using 2013LT. It crushed yesterday. Today when I opened my drgs. I can not edit text, delete anything. I also have noticed that menu under right click does not have the same options as before ie. block edit is not there and so on. I have opened differend dwg ones that I wasn't working on when it crushed and the same thing happed.
I opened my drawings with 2012LT and everything works fine.
