Please find the attached "Error Message.jpg" file.I am getting that Error Message while trying to Uninstall "CorelDRAW Graphics Suite X6" on a Windows XP Desktop Computer. This Computer belongs to other person. I am getting the same Error Message upon trying to Re-Install CorelDRAW Graphics Suite X6.How do I successfully Uninstall and Re-Install?
I am using Windows Vista 32 bit OS.
I have used the X6 graphics suite for some time now and have always installed updates when notified. A couple of days ago I was notified of the latest update which I duly installed.
Thereafter I was unable to open Coreldraw. I was unable to resolve the issue by reverting to a previous versions from as few days previous. I have done this by using the usual windows uninstall facility.
However, when I try to reinstall the X6 suite from the CD I get an error message that says "A newer version of this program is installed. Delete this first before you install this version" (or words to that effect).
Clearly there is something that indicates a later version is installed but I cant find out why I am getting this message. I have endeavoured to delete everything I find associated with X6 but after rebooting I still can't reinstall the software.
When I checked my computer for any any unused programs I got see this coreldraw (r) graphics suite x5 installed. When I got to uninstall it showed and error message that some sort of setup.xml is missing. When I checked this programs folder I got to see that there are two corel folders [Corel and Corel (2) ] in my C: drive. After checking all the file locations of different corel applications I deleted the Corel (2) foder. After that also corel was not being uninstalled. I don't want to re-format my computer only for this

@ frist I try ti uninstall all updates from Microsoft and restart my PC.

VBA is not functioning on W7 SP1 - even after a reinstall of X5.

When I click on it to "UNINSTALL" I also get the green bar for about 2 seconds, but the box is completely blank. No buttons or anything.

Some weeks ago, I posted about my inability to install SP3 -- (a host of) Error 1310 messages, related to permissions to access certain folders, according to the on-screen messages.
Last night, for the first time, I could not open Draw at all -- there was a pause while the PC tried to open it, then an useful message box that reported that a "problem" had caused Draw to stop working, and that I should close the program.
Trying to open all other X5 suite apps is similarly unsuccessful, though none produces that particular error box.
I tried to repair the installation. No go. More Error 1310 messages.
I tried to reinstall SP2, the last patch that actually worked for me. Error 1310.
I tried to uninstall the suite. Not allowed. Error 1310.
I then tried a series of steps to correct the access errors causing the 1310 messages. I tried unregistering/registering the msiserver; deleting or renaming the "Config.msi" folder to which the errors referred, hoping the newly created folder would not have the issue. I made sure I had administrator privileges (the 1310 error alleges that the user does not have access to the given folders). I did everything I could find online. No effect.
So, at the moment, I can't open, repair, update, or uninstall the Draw X5 suite. Short of wiping the hard drive (I don't have issues when I try to uninstall other apps), is there anything I can do?
I know this is a Windows issue, but with that "A problem has caused Draw to stop working" error message.
I have three MAC's using Parallels with Windows 7 X64 on a domain. I cannot get Corel Draw x5 to launch on one. It just simply crashes and records Failed to Release Mutex Error ID = Returned Error 288 & 1 in the event log. I have tried removing Corel Draw from the workstation 3x in combination with manual and automatic. I have spent over 8 hours on this and cannot find a solution on line. I have removed user settings as well. I have the original media. I have tried downloading another copy from CNET but the key will not work.

View 7 Replies View RelatedI have been having problems updating my Corel Draw 11 Graphics Suite for use on a computer running Windows 7 Pro, 64 bit. It worked fine on the previous computer I was using, which was running Windows XP Pro, 64 bit. I have been to the download site for all applicable patches and service packs for Corel 11, namely, SP1, SP2, Draw11SVGUpdate, and CGS11savefix.exe. When I run the SP1, I get an error message: "the file C:/Programfiles(x86)CorelCorelGraphics11FiltersCRLPDFImport110.dll is not a valid previous version and could not be upgraded" The only response choice I was offered was "OK" and this exits the setup.
When I try to open either Corel Draw 11 or Corel Photo Paint 11, I get the following message: "Corel PHOTO-PAINT(R) [or DRAW] has stopped working. A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available." The only "option" I'm given is to push the "Close program" toggle and exit. Windows has never contacted me via email to tell me of any solutions.
I have been using the Corel Draw Graphics Suite for many years - first buying the Full Version of CD5, then upgrading to 8, then upgrading to 11. I have the original "upgrade" discs for 11 which have installed just fine up to now, and I really do not need the extensive features of CGS X5 (which, by the way, works perfectly in the "trial download" form I put onto the computer in question!). I was SO hoping to get the updates on 11 installed so it will work on Win 7 Pro, rather than have to pay $200 for the upgrade to X5 "just" to gain the ability to run Corel DRAW and Corel PHOTO PAINT on this new computer. (By the way, that "just" is a relative term - if it's the only way to get a functioning program, I will have to upgrade - Corel DRAW and Corel PHOTO PAINT are the bedrock of our private printing press work!) Is there any way I can proceed with Corel 11?
CorelDRAW 12 successfully installed on a new machine running Windows 7 Professional 64-bit; however, when attempting to run the SP1 patch (CGS12SP1EN.msp), I get the following message:
"The wizard was interrupted before CorelDRAW Graphics Suite 12 could be completely installed."
I have tried "Corel Draw 12 and vista" which attempted to run the Microsoft installer through the command prompt running under Administrator, but it doesn't work.
am using windows 7 without aero windows. Twice when using Corel draw and saving the program has crashed. I have then had to ctrl alt delete and shut the program down.

The first one, and the one I need to fix immediatly is, every time I try to import a dfx file, the program crashes. The other which is less important right now is, a lot of times when I try to import PDF's I get an error message that says the file is corrupt.

X6 work fine and fast on Windows 8 system.
But both X6 on both Windows XP are nightmare. Just creating new document can take up to 10 sec. Printing is also very slow, but exporting simple JPG file knock-me down. It take half minute or more...
Previous we worked many year's with X4 on same PC's, now we format PC's, Install Windows XP with all service pack's and updates, reboot machine and install X6.
It is not possible to install Windows 8 on those two PC's, because they drive two machines, that only support Windows XP...
Windows XP are 32 bit, Windows 8 is 64 bit

View 3 Replies View Related I have the entire subscription of 'Corel 6X'. I have been using it for a few months with no problems, even after I did the 8.1 update. Now all programs will load and run except for 'Draw 6X', it starts to load and then it will start to 'load environment' and then crash. As I said above, every other part of the suite open and run fine.
I can give you no information about updates or version as it won't load so I could check for updates. I searched for other post, and it returned no other similar problems listed for 'Draw 6X'. If I get no answers I'll just un/re install that program itself and see if that fixes things.
I am on a Dell PC with plenty of everything running Win 8.1 64 bit and running the online yearly subscription of 'CorelDraw 6X' 64 bit version that was up to date and working fine on 8.1 fine for more than a month. Now the 'splash' screen shows and gets to 'loading environment' and then the quaint Win window comes out 'There is a problem and windows has to close this program'.

I am having a problem of previewing clip art in my preview window. I used to be able to review a thumb nail of either a object, photo, or clip art prior to importing it on my page. Is there a configuration I must follow. Tried everything from properties and other trial and error methods.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI was experimenting a little bit with the dockers at the right side of the workspace of Corel Draw X5 and now for some reason when I go to "Window" and select a new docker to open, the new docker appears not nested with the rest as it did before, but as new floating window so I have to add it to the rest as a tab manually which is not handy. Up to now each new docker would appear already nested. This is annoying because I really liked the way the dockers appear nested in tabs in X5.
How I can make the dockers appear again tabbed once I open them?
i'm running on WIndows XP X64 SP3 AMD ATHLON II 64 - Mem 4Gb), i had install .net framework 4 and i've tried to install Corel Draw X6 64 bit on my system but the screen always shown the warning message "your system has been not modified, the processor in your computer does not meet the minimum system requirement". View 7 Replies View RelatedI am running a Windows XP machine with Corel Draw X6 (32 Bit) and under the Trace Bitmap option, Quick Trace will work but anything under the Centerline Trace and Outline Trace options will upset Corel Draw and freeze. The program does not say "Not Responding" but no functions will work or the mouse will not change cursor and the only way to exit is to end the task.I have run updates on the program and upgraded to X6.1 but with no luck, still the same issue.
