When using Windows 7 (32 bit) and Coreldraw X5, when I zoom up the page, with grid on, and start moving TIFFs around, the grid disappears in that local area. The only option is to refresh the page. So just recently upgraded to Windows 7 64 bit, but no change.

View 5 Replies View RelatedAfter intalling my new mouse (Logitech Corded Mouse M500) scrolling/resizing makes the image disappear in a short time 2-3 minutes. I read about it in older versions, only happens with this mouse.
How can I fix it? I've just brought the mouse, seems very good, the older one is unuseable (lacks accurancy due the cheap IR sensor).
I have just run CC Cleaner and Glary Utilities , which we have been running for years , and every time it removes the Edit Bitmap link menu, in other words it greys out.

when I try to change the font in corel draw x4, the text disappears, this happens with new documents, old documents etc.
It works in Photo Paint, but for some reason draw has stopped working. I restarted and tried everything I could think of!!! This seemed to happen after the latest windows 7 update.

When I add a drop shadow to anything the variable attributes do not appear on the property bar, ie "flat bottom right" at top left and then the choice of colours etc. I know by now where they are so click on where I think they are, but it's annoying. These are the steps I've taken: I created a rectangle within the document and using the layout toolbar I clicked "convert the object to a text frame". With the text box active, I clicked view/grid/baseline grid, but alas, no baseline grid is visible within the text box.

View 1 Replies View RelatedWe upgraded to x6.1 and are having some issues. I have X5 and X6 installed on my machine. When using X6 and you add a new page to the document, then publish a PDF. The PDF will show grid lines on the new pages. This happens with new docs and previously created docs when we add new pages. Also, on the new pages, you can't disable the printing in the object manager.
Second problem, when you have a bitmap in your document and click on it, Photo Paint is available. Only the trace option. Edit Bitmap is grayed out on the Property Bar and not available when you right click the image. I have to open Photo Paint and copy the image into it. There are three of us having the same problems.

When importing a multi-page pdf or ps file into a multi-page document, sometimes the inserted pages will all have their Document Grid layer visibility turned on, even when the existing pages in the document all have it turned off.
If I bring up the object manager, I can go through the affected pages and 'un-eye' them one page at a time. But it's a blooming nuisance, especially when importing dozens of pages at once.
I have three MAC's using Parallels with Windows 7 X64 on a domain. I cannot get Corel Draw x5 to launch on one. It just simply crashes and records Failed to Release Mutex Error ID = Returned Error 288 & 1 in the event log. I have tried removing Corel Draw from the workstation 3x in combination with manual and automatic. I have spent over 8 hours on this and cannot find a solution on line. I have removed user settings as well. I have the original media. I have tried downloading another copy from CNET but the key will not work.

View 7 Replies View RelatedI have been having problems updating my Corel Draw 11 Graphics Suite for use on a computer running Windows 7 Pro, 64 bit. It worked fine on the previous computer I was using, which was running Windows XP Pro, 64 bit. I have been to the download site for all applicable patches and service packs for Corel 11, namely, SP1, SP2, Draw11SVGUpdate, and CGS11savefix.exe. When I run the SP1, I get an error message: "the file C:/Programfiles(x86)CorelCorelGraphics11FiltersCRLPDFImport110.dll is not a valid previous version and could not be upgraded" The only response choice I was offered was "OK" and this exits the setup.
When I try to open either Corel Draw 11 or Corel Photo Paint 11, I get the following message: "Corel PHOTO-PAINT(R) [or DRAW] has stopped working. A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available." The only "option" I'm given is to push the "Close program" toggle and exit. Windows has never contacted me via email to tell me of any solutions.
I have been using the Corel Draw Graphics Suite for many years - first buying the Full Version of CD5, then upgrading to 8, then upgrading to 11. I have the original "upgrade" discs for 11 which have installed just fine up to now, and I really do not need the extensive features of CGS X5 (which, by the way, works perfectly in the "trial download" form I put onto the computer in question!). I was SO hoping to get the updates on 11 installed so it will work on Win 7 Pro, rather than have to pay $200 for the upgrade to X5 "just" to gain the ability to run Corel DRAW and Corel PHOTO PAINT on this new computer. (By the way, that "just" is a relative term - if it's the only way to get a functioning program, I will have to upgrade - Corel DRAW and Corel PHOTO PAINT are the bedrock of our private printing press work!) I have tried "Corel Draw 12 and vista" which attempted to run the Microsoft installer through the command prompt running under Administrator, but it doesn't work.
am using windows 7 without aero windows. Twice when using Corel draw and saving the program has crashed. I have then had to ctrl alt delete and shut the program down.

X6 work fine and fast on Windows 8 system.
But both X6 on both Windows XP are nightmare. Just creating new document can take up to 10 sec. Printing is also very slow, but exporting simple JPG file knock-me down. It take half minute or more...
Previous we worked many year's with X4 on same PC's, now we format PC's, Install Windows XP with all service pack's and updates, reboot machine and install X6.
It is not possible to install Windows 8 on those two PC's, because they drive two machines, that only support Windows XP...
Windows XP are 32 bit, Windows 8 is 64 bit

View 3 Replies View Related I have the entire subscription of 'Corel 6X'. I have been using it for a few months with no problems, even after I did the 8.1 update. Now all programs will load and run except for 'Draw 6X', it starts to load and then it will start to 'load environment' and then crash. As I said above, every other part of the suite open and run fine.
I can give you no information about updates or version as it won't load so I could check for updates. I searched for other post, and it returned no other similar problems listed for 'Draw 6X'. If I get no answers I'll just un/re install that program itself and see if that fixes things.
I am on a Dell PC with plenty of everything running Win 8.1 64 bit and running the online yearly subscription of 'CorelDraw 6X' 64 bit version that was up to date and working fine on 8.1 fine for more than a month. Now the 'splash' screen shows and gets to 'loading environment' and then the quaint Win window comes out 'There is a problem and windows has to close this program'.
