I have designed a very large document (a magazine) in Corel Draw 11 with text, drawings and photos. I started converting the text to curves but there's a couple of text columns that disappear when I do so !

On using macro for "Convert to curves all text" the Page Number used with Insert Page Number in Coreldraw x6.4 is not converting it but it remove the page number.

It works in Photo Paint, but for some reason draw has stopped working. I restarted and tried everything I could think of!!! This seemed to happen after the latest windows 7 update.
Also on a sidenote is it possible to get rid of the ads when i start up Draw and PP x4? It keeps hassling me to upgrade. It is really really annoying... seriously I bought this product, why does it have pop up ads???
A client sent me their logo where the name is straight across. They would now like to wrap it around the circle in their logo... They do not know the name of the font, what the font couldn't id it, not much response on their forum...
Is there a way to fit text to path, where the text has already been converted to curves?

View 3 Replies View RelatedI need to take a word, and edit each letter individually. This includes changing shape, color, and slanting and twisting a letter. I want the "i" to be one color, and the dot over the "i" to be another color.
In my old drawing program, I converted the text to curves, then ungrouped the set of letters. I can't seem to be able to do this in Corel. Once converted to curves, when I select the text, the option to ungroup is greyed out.
i am posting this only after doing fruitless research online.
We are trying to convert some text to a Hindi font a translator sent us. It is installed correctly on PC and shows up in Corel X5. When you convert it, it says it is the correct font in object mangar but appears a row of boxes? The font is Kruti Dev 010.

I've tried saving it in other formats and a few other things, but none have been successful. I've included print screens of what the picture should look like, what it does look like, and the export setting I've been using.

View 1 Replies View RelatedThis is the second time I've had crashes in X6 64 bit, the first time was importing a very large "XLS" file, and then today while converting a selected group to curves it crashed. I restarted Draw opened the file that I had saved but not converted the part of the drawing I wanted to cut to curves, as soon as I tried to convert to curves it crashed again. Restarted the computer with the same results. I got the job to the cutter so it is not holding me up, but I did want to let the powers that be know about the crash. And I have been converting at least some of each drawing I do to curves with no problems, nothing had changed in the computer so it makes me wonder what's going on. The computer is a i5, 8 gb ram, 2 gb video card, Windows 7 Ult.
View 5 Replies View RelatedAfter intalling my new mouse (Logitech Corded Mouse M500) scrolling/resizing makes the image disappear in a short time 2-3 minutes. I read about it in older versions, only happens with this mouse.
How can I fix it? I've just brought the mouse, seems very good, the older one is unuseable (lacks accurancy due the cheap IR sensor).
I have just run CC Cleaner and Glary Utilities , which we have been running for years , and every time it removes the Edit Bitmap link menu, in other words it greys out.
How can you edit the bitmap in Photoshop ? And get it the edit Bitmap menu functioning ?
When trying to open a coreldraw document sent to me containing fonts that I do not have, I cannot seem to open only as curves and it always wants to replace missing fonts. I am sure I could do this with X3, but not X5.
I just want to import as curves and not substitute fonts.
The Join Curves docker seems like a handy tool, unfortunately following the directions yields no change--I can't get it to do anything at all. Is this a known issue? I have X5 with the latest SP, just installed a few days ago.

When I add a drop shadow to anything the variable attributes do not appear on the property bar, ie "flat bottom right" at top left and then the choice of colours etc. I know by now where they are so click on where I think they are, but it's annoying. I have deleted, run a reg cleaner and re-installed + added the SP2 updates.

View 2 Replies View RelatedIf this is possible to have a transparency brush in doing fades on curves. the brush would enable to lighten spot colors when brushed over the curve or curves. you could make a whole graphic fade out around the edges just by brushing over the edges.
You could have the capabilities to adjust the amount of the fade on a tool bar. maybe this is out there, but it would save a lot of time when doing graphics for t shirts and you want to fade the edges of the image on the shirt. you rip program would define the half tones by the transparency fade.
I traced bitmap -> Quick trace. Is there a way to edit that vector image now - with the shape tool?

Basically when I use Outline Pathfinder in Adobe Illustrator, then bring back into corel, sometimes get a lot of redundant objects. I already set the settings in Adobe Illustrator to minimize that as much as possible.

View 14 Replies View RelatedIs there a way to convert to curve (with handles)? I Ctrl+Q on a object, then it say convert to curve. But it's a bunch of segments. When I drag them they don't have curve handles, they don't curve. I have again to click on a segment, a * appear. Then click To curve in the property bar.
Can I just put curve handles in one shoot to all the segments of a object (ex a square)? Without to have to do all 4 segments one by one?

View 2 Replies View RelatedWhen I export a page as Illustrator CS4, I choose the option "Convert outlines to objects" but it doesn't seem to do what I expect. It does fix the issue of missing arrowheads on lines, but it doesn't convert the outlines to fills as I expected -- is that correct? I wish there was an option to convert lines to fills on export.
