Is there a macro that turns all text on a page in curves?

Is there a way to fit text to path, where the text has already been converted to curves?
I have designed a very large document (a magazine) in Corel Draw 11 with text, drawings and photos. I started converting the text to curves but there's a couple of text columns that disappear when I do so !
View 2 Replies View RelatedI had saved several X6 files to x5 and x4, and found that the text within had converted to curves.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI need to take a word, and edit each letter individually. This includes changing shape, color, and slanting and twisting a letter. I want the "i" to be one color, and the dot over the "i" to be another color.
In my old drawing program, I converted the text to curves, then ungrouped the set of letters. I can't seem to be able to do this in Corel. Once converted to curves, when I select the text, the option to ungroup is greyed out.
i am posting this only after doing fruitless research online.
I was wondering why Batang and Arial were appearing in the Fonts under Document Properties when I had not actively used them in my "New" document.
When I looked at the Default text files, I believe I see the reason. I find Batang listed as the default Asian Text font for both Artistic and Paragragh Text. The options for Asian Text don't seem to include any fonts that I have on the old machines.
Similarly, the Middle East Default Text style would seem to generate the Arial(Arabic) entry in the required fonts.
Is there a way to completely eliminate the default Asian Text and Middle East entries from the default text styles?
When I select text I can't apply any changes to it until I convert to curves. I have tried selecting using the select tool and text tool - neither makes a difference until I convert to curves the everything is available

View 4 Replies View RelatedAfter laying up a nameplate design and having inspection verify the design I went to the next stage of of our production which is step and repeat.
I stepped the nameplate 5 down and items 3 and 4 are missing 1 line of text but the text re-appears on the last (5th) image. I then I stepped it accross 6 times with items 3 and 4 still missing text all the way accros (I would expect this). The missing text went un-noticed by both me and inspection since the first (upper left) and last (lower right) images should be identically correct and they were.
This is the second time I've had crashes in X6 64 bit, the first time was importing a very large "XLS" file, and then today while converting a selected group to curves it crashed. I restarted Draw opened the file that I had saved but not converted the part of the drawing I wanted to cut to curves, as soon as I tried to convert to curves it crashed again. Restarted the computer with the same results. I got the job to the cutter so it is not holding me up, but I did want to let the powers that be know about the crash. And I have been converting at least some of each drawing I do to curves with no problems, nothing had changed in the computer so it makes me wonder what's going on. The computer is a i5, 8 gb ram, 2 gb video card, Windows 7 Ult.
View 5 Replies View RelatedWhen trying to open a coreldraw document sent to me containing fonts that I do not have, I cannot seem to open only as curves and it always wants to replace missing fonts. I am sure I could do this with X3, but not X5.
I just want to import as curves and not substitute fonts.
I was working on Corel X4. I was using bickham font. After my design was done i did convert to curves but the whole font sort off just distorted completely.

View 8 Replies View RelatedI have a series of points that I calculated (x-y data pairs, they're conic sections from calculus if that matters), and I want to import those points and then sometimes fit either a) a line or b) a curved rectangle (like, a really wide line) that follows these data points.
View 2 Replies View RelatedIf this is possible to have a transparency brush in doing fades on curves. the brush would enable to lighten spot colors when brushed over the curve or curves. you could make a whole graphic fade out around the edges just by brushing over the edges.
You could have the capabilities to adjust the amount of the fade on a tool bar. maybe this is out there, but it would save a lot of time when doing graphics for t shirts and you want to fade the edges of the image on the shirt. you rip program would define the half tones by the transparency fade.
I traced bitmap -> Quick trace. Is there a way to edit that vector image now - with the shape tool?

Looking for a nice script that can search a complex design with lots of linework and find all coinciding duplicates and select them all and delete them but leave (1) good copy.
Basically when I use Outline Pathfinder in Adobe Illustrator, then bring back into corel, sometimes get a lot of redundant objects. I already set the settings in Adobe Illustrator to minimize that as much as possible.
If there is a way to create a new command under the customization tab. The reason I ask is that I use the line color 100% black, 30% Black (It is in the commands already) and red. I want to create a new outline command for the color red so that I can use a shortcut key.
View 16 Replies View RelatedPrimarily I am using Corel for basic typesetting and simple graphics for sign making. My problem is that when I save the drawing something simple saves as a massive file. Many of my clients don't have space in their in-boxes for large files and large files are also slow to trasmit over the internt. I find that I have to import the jpg or pdf file into Illustrator and re-save the file whereas it becomes a normal size. A file this morning ( a rectangle with some text inside) was 7.4mb when I saved it as a pdf. Opening in Illustrator and re-saving using the same file name the file size became a managable 110kb????

View 13 Replies View RelatedI am running CorelDrawx6 on Win7, 8G Memory, 2TB Storage, Core I5 processor and NVIDIA GeForce GT 440

I am now having trouble with fonts in all of my cdr files. Many of the fonts will default to size .001 and cannot make them stay at any other size. When I scale them manually, I can see them flash on the screen at the proper size, but when I "let go" of them they reduce back down to the invisible size.
I's looking for a way to create this effect. (indicated by the red arrows)Shotalot
View 9 Replies View RelatedI want to create and name my own colors. To start with, I put the default RGB palette into "show color names" mode, and I then intend to add to the palette colors which I have named for my own purposes, and then delete the colors I dont need.
I have put the palette so it floats, which is more convenient for me, and I want to extend the palette down so that I can see most of the color names immediately, for example this is easy to do in CorelPainter.
I find that I cant extend the floating palette window beyond the default size, even though, when I select the window, arrows appear at the edges and corners of the palette, as if it is possible to move them. I find that the whole desktop turns grey, and a sort of secondary palette window appears momentarily and flutters on and off.
I was creating a new brush stroke when I tried to save it Corel stopped working it is happening quite often.

I am trying to generate some graphics for my I-phone App. Most of the images can be SVG files which works out great but some of what I need has to be PNG format. So, I need a graphic that is about 50px square and has to be a PNG file.
I have attached a CDR that is a resolution of 10000dpi but when I export to PNG and make it 50px wide it looks like ca-ca :). The problem is in my App i will need to zoom in on the 50px wide image. How can I create small PNG files that I can zoom in on and still look crisp?
I was comparing a few drafting and was curious if CorelDraw X6 had the ability to create contour plots using 3-dimensional spatial data (e.g., topographic surveys). Basically, what I was looking to do was import a table (say from excel) with a number of data points which each have three coordinate locations (X, Y, Z). I would be looking for the program to take these data points and be able to draw lines or shading between them in essentially what would be a topographic map (contour map). In the past, I have used another program called Surfer to create the contour maps, and have then had to import the exported image to an older version of CorelDraw.
