May 9, 2013Is there some way to move the corner control points of the perspective effect grid via the arrow keys? I have hand problems and any time I need to move something very precisely I use the arrow keys, or risk hurting my hands. If not, would there be some way to do this with a macro? Also, is there some setting for it – other than having to hold down the shift and control keys while you click and drag, which is just a killer for me – that will arrange it in ways that are only symmetrical (where if you move one side the other side moves equally in the opposite direction)? As far as I can see, rectangular and freehand settings behave the same.

Oct 23, 2013I have been using Corel Draw primarily in my work for more than 20 years but have never taken the time to understand this....nor why on some artwork an object will move fractionally but on other artwork (specifically this time, a 20m x 10m workspace for vehicle signage) the objects move 200 or 300mm!?
I always thought this was a 'drawing precision' setting but even when I set that to 1 decimal place it doesn't seem to affect this.

Feb 1, 2011I have three MAC's using Parallels with Windows 7 X64 on a domain. I cannot get Corel Draw x5 to launch on one. It just simply crashes and records Failed to Release Mutex Error ID = Returned Error 288 & 1 in the event log. I have tried removing Corel Draw from the workstation 3x in combination with manual and automatic. I have spent over 8 hours on this and cannot find a solution on line. I have removed user settings as well. I have the original media. I have tried downloading another copy from CNET but the key will not work.

Aug 7, 2010I have been having problems updating my Corel Draw 11 Graphics Suite for use on a computer running Windows 7 Pro, 64 bit. It worked fine on the previous computer I was using, which was running Windows XP Pro, 64 bit. I have been to the download site for all applicable patches and service packs for Corel 11, namely, SP1, SP2, Draw11SVGUpdate, and CGS11savefix.exe. When I run the SP1, I get an error message: "the file C:/Programfiles(x86)CorelCorelGraphics11FiltersCRLPDFImport110.dll is not a valid previous version and could not be upgraded" The only response choice I was offered was "OK" and this exits the setup.
When I try to open either Corel Draw 11 or Corel Photo Paint 11, I get the following message: "Corel PHOTO-PAINT(R) [or DRAW] has stopped working. A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available." The only "option" I'm given is to push the "Close program" toggle and exit. Windows has never contacted me via email to tell me of any solutions.
I have been using the Corel Draw Graphics Suite for many years - first buying the Full Version of CD5, then upgrading to 8, then upgrading to 11. I have the original "upgrade" discs for 11 which have installed just fine up to now, and I really do not need the extensive features of CGS X5 (which, by the way, works perfectly in the "trial download" form I put onto the computer in question!). I was SO hoping to get the updates on 11 installed so it will work on Win 7 Pro, rather than have to pay $200 for the upgrade to X5 "just" to gain the ability to run Corel DRAW and Corel PHOTO PAINT on this new computer. (By the way, that "just" is a relative term - if it's the only way to get a functioning program, I will have to upgrade - Corel DRAW and Corel PHOTO PAINT are the bedrock of our private printing press work!) Is there any way I can proceed with Corel 11?

Mar 1, 2011CorelDRAW 12 successfully installed on a new machine running Windows 7 Professional 64-bit; however, when attempting to run the SP1 patch (CGS12SP1EN.msp), I get the following message:
"The wizard was interrupted before CorelDRAW Graphics Suite 12 could be completely installed."
I have tried "Corel Draw 12 and vista" which attempted to run the Microsoft installer through the command prompt running under Administrator, but it doesn't work.

X6 work fine and fast on Windows 8 system.
But both X6 on both Windows XP are nightmare. Just creating new document can take up to 10 sec. Printing is also very slow, but exporting simple JPG file knock-me down. It take half minute or more...
Previous we worked many year's with X4 on same PC's, now we format PC's, Install Windows XP with all service pack's and updates, reboot machine and install X6.
It is not possible to install Windows 8 on those two PC's, because they drive two machines, that only support Windows XP...
Windows XP are 32 bit, Windows 8 is 64 bit

Dec 27, 2013 I have the entire subscription of 'Corel 6X'. I have been using it for a few months with no problems, even after I did the 8.1 update. Now all programs will load and run except for 'Draw 6X', it starts to load and then it will start to 'load environment' and then crash. As I said above, every other part of the suite open and run fine.
I can give you no information about updates or version as it won't load so I could check for updates. I searched for other post, and it returned no other similar problems listed for 'Draw 6X'. If I get no answers I'll just un/re install that program itself and see if that fixes things.
I am on a Dell PC with plenty of everything running Win 8.1 64 bit and running the online yearly subscription of 'CorelDraw 6X' 64 bit version that was up to date and working fine on 8.1 fine for more than a month. Now the 'splash' screen shows and gets to 'loading environment' and then the quaint Win window comes out 'There is a problem and windows has to close this program'.

May 30, 2011I was experimenting a little bit with the dockers at the right side of the workspace of Corel Draw X5 and now for some reason when I go to "Window" and select a new docker to open, the new docker appears not nested with the rest as it did before, but as new floating window so I have to add it to the rest as a tab manually which is not handy. Up to now each new docker would appear already nested. This is annoying because I really liked the way the dockers appear nested in tabs in X5.
How I can make the dockers appear again tabbed once I open them?

The program does not say "Not Responding" but no functions will work or the mouse will not change cursor and the only way to exit is to end the task.I have run updates on the program and upgraded to X6.1 but with no luck, still the same issue.

I have recently installed X3 on a W7 machine and have so far found everything to work fine except for an issue of half of my fonts being blank when trying to choose one from the drop down menu. Existing files with these blank fonts also come up with the fonts completely missing as if the entire set of words was deleted. May 10, 2012I have a problem opening Font Navigator in Windows 7.
When I click the exe startup for Font Navigator Windows 7 asks if it's OK for this program to make changes to my computer. I answer yes, the screen flickers and Font Navigator fails to open.
This is a recent problem and I can't trace it to any changes on my PC. I have completely cleared Corel Suite from the computer and reloaded the applications.
