I have been using autocad quite frequently lately and for some reason today I cannot convert my DWG files into PDF, although I have done the many times before. I have even tried opening old drawings to convert them to PDF and nothing will export.
im working whit and have purchased a computer to plate punch that works with files in nc1 extension, but only works with extensions Autocad dxf and dwg, so we are looking for if Autodesk has a module to convert dxf or dwg extensions to nc1.
I've found one that converts a DXF NC1 but I found one that converts DXF to NC1.
We are providing files to a fabricator for their use. They have requested the drawing file, it is a 3D solid model AutoCAD 2013 file, be provided in .wcs format. I assume I need a piece of software to make the conversion but have not found one.
When I convert a drawing to pdf that has a Delta Symbol with a wipeout in it,,I get hatch lines in the delta. How do I convert and not get these hatch lines.
I opened a JPEG image, it was all b&w and I used layers/curves to add color to certain parts of the pic. It saved as a psd automatically now I can't get it to convert so I can upload the image, I've looked up all kinds of things to try and it's not working.
I want to turn this shape on the left, into one like the one on the right... i.e., not so many points.
I basically want to convert the polylines into arcs or something. i can do this by redrawing, thats no problem, but this is a very simple drawing compared to what i normally have to deal with, this is just an example.
Then I need to extrude it, but when I extrude, it's shallow. So this 2D polygon need to have face. I've tried 3DFACE but then I need to add faces manually. Is there any way to just specify this polygon and have it faced?
I have this draft with the parameters given. I need to correctly make this a 3D...How do I insert the parameters given, so the draft correctly rise accordingly to the planes?
Virtually all of my PhotoShop work involves HDR and 32-bpc (32 bit color) images. CS3 was great at handling these files, and had no trouble running most effects and features in 32-bit.
Switching to CS4, I find that the program is unwilling to do most anything while in 32-bit color. I cannot convert layers to smart objects, cannot add adjustment layers, cannot place objects, cannot duplicate layers, cannot add layer masks. All those options are greyed out.
Just today I finally found a workaround for smart objects-- if I save the HDR image as a 32-bit PSD file, I can "open as smart object" to get the 32-bit smart layer. In CS3, all I had to do was right-click on "convert to smart object".
I've tried this in both x86 and x64 versions of the program, and through the top menus, keyboard shortcuts, context menus, everything, and cannot get CS4 to let me do what CS3 was all to happy to do. I reset my preferences,
I'd rather not go back to CS3, but at this point, CS4 is useless to me.
The down and dirty: running Windows Vista x64 on a 2.66 Core 2 Duo, 6GB DDR2, 640MB GeForce 8800 GTS, 1.8TB combined disk capacity.
Our customer send us drawing with ellipse into. With Autocad 2008 I bought a plug-in call SplineConvert that did the job perfectly but not compatible with 2013.
Is there any plugin that could replace that tool ?
Is there any standard ACAD command that could easily do this Job ?
I need a way to make 2 or 3 times per week this converting on all ellipses of large and detail 2D drawings so no time to offset in and out all those .
I try also DXFOUT in R12 but all the spline are being converted into 3d polyline making a huge files that froze my PC.
I also try FLATTEN but did not see how it work , the ellipse stay an ellipse.
I have a drawing from a contractor that is dimensioned in metric units. I have been tasked with converting the displayed units to inches for our machine shop. I have tried to display alternate units but they don't appear, yes, I did check the "display alternate units" box. I am using AutoCAD 2013.
I have a giant polyline containing a mix of arcs and straight segments, and I would like to convert all of the arcs into a series of small, straight lines so that I can use the polyline with a plug-in I wrote to use the polyline as a selection polygon.
Someone mentioned something about WMFOUT and WMFIN but that gave me some pretty weird, wobbly lines as a result and plus it didn't scale things the same when I used WMFIN.
I have received a Civil file with AECC Labels (they are Contour numbers) and I'm trying to either explode them or convert them to text objects in order to print.
For some reason, when I explode them they disappear completely and I have to undo 3-4X to get them back, undoing previous commands in the process. I can't seem to edit them otherwise. The reason I'm exploding them is because CAD is not seeing these objects when plotting.
Any lisp routine or how to convert or modify AECC Labels?
Whenever I try to upload a video clip, it only shows in timeline format and when I try to convert it to frame animation, it says "The video will not play back in frame animation."
