Is there any way to convert a drawing using the Asian Bigfont.shx font back to English? The font can be changed, but the characters remain un-readable. Mostly ? and letters and symbols but no words. It seems like it needs to be translated, and not just converted, but it is not displayed in any form that could be translated.
View 3 RepliesI have this heavy issue, i can't send to back a line, an object or a hatch under other lines. In 2012 i used this feature a lot but in 2013 it's not working very much, maybe 1 time out of 10 and i absolutely can't say why.
HPDRAWORDER = 1 seems to work with a new hatch.. but i can't redraw everything.
Let's say i put an entire floor plan into block then draw over it. (I don't want to start a Xref discussion please) i can't send the entire bloc to the back.I used to do that with 2012, 2008, 2007.. but it's 2013 it's not working, is there a way to correct that?

View 4 Replies View RelatedI'm using ID CC ME. Much of my work contains a Hebrew word or pharase within an English sentence. Using the standard method to switch to Hebrew in Windows 7 usually give me the Adobe Hebrew font (and I think sometimes Myriad Hebrew). Is there any way to predefine which Hebrew font will be used when making the switch when I want a different font used? I know I can (and do) set a character style for it, but then I must first switch to Hebrew, then type the word or phrase, then use the character style to change the font (it doesn't usually work if you set the character style before switching to Hebrew), then change the character style back for the rest of the text.What is the simplest way to get the Hebrew in the font I want?

View 2 Replies View RelatedWe have just recently updated our templates to use a new TTF font. We are a multi national office, and are running various machines in both Australia and China. We are all using windows 7. Autocad are all full versions but vary between 2010 and 2012.
We are trying to convert survey drawings from a standard font to the ttf, but for some reason, in the Chinese office only the decimal points disappear after the conversion. The same drawing when sent to the Australian office works fine and the decimal points are there. What to try here, as I am in Australia and can't even reproduce the issue the chinese office is having.
I have Windows XP, last night i moved all JPEG Images in my computer and when i opened it back up I noticed that my JPEG images are no JPEGS!!! I can't open my picture any more??? I check their properties and they are now VBSCRIPT files?? I want them back to JPEGS so I can view them.

I have a student who created a rather complex drawing and then converted it to a pattern, the design does not work well, because it is too elaborate, he has three different art pieces. A record, a jukebox and a piano. These are all great illustrations on their own, but do not make a good pattern. Is there a way to undo the pattern?

1) When I make a line-I used to be able to type in the start point, angle, length, and end point. Now I make a line I don’t have that option. Furthermore I hover the muse over line and try to make an extension of for example 3.5" from the start point after I hit enter it will put the start point at what i think is a random point of the screen. How can get the options back.
2) When i press-pull an object-When i would press-pull an object i would (with my mouse) drag it in the direction that wanted it to go hen type in the length. So if i were to pull it to the right then type in the number it would go to the right.How can change that
Not sure how to word this question correctly. I saw a co-worker do a 'temp-save' on a drawing, mess around with drawing, and then come back to the spot in drawing where he had 'saved' to essetially deleting all the stuff he had done. I cannot remeber what he used to mark this and then be able to come back, but if he liked the edits he had made, he could just keep drawing.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI want to take two 3D views from (autodesk) Revit Architecture 2012 to Illustrator CS5 and then make use of the live paint bucket tool*. I've printed the two 3D views into pdf files and imported them in Illustrator**. When I select the whole image in Illustrator and then click with the Live Paint Bucket tool on the drawing to modify the drawing so I can color the surfaces, Illustrator gives me the following error:
"The selection contains objects that cannot be converted. Live Paint groups can only contain paths and compound paths. Clipping paths are not allowed."
Exporting images (jpg, png and tiff) from Revit results in the same error. Is there a way to easily convert my vector drawing into a non-clipping paths drawing? Also I'm not sure if the problem should be found in either Revit or Illustrator. What's also strange is that I'm using a tutorial provided by my university, in which there are no issues with clipping paths or anything.
* This in order to make an conceptual image of my building, which I've modeled in Revit. I want to add basic colors to surfaces in Illustrator and then take the image to Photoshop to add shadow, materials, sky etc.
** They only consist of lines, using the 'hidden line' visual style in my views in Revit, in case you know a bit of Revit.
I've downloaded some Korean Asian fonts, but I cannot use them in Photoshop. I can see them in the list of fonts, but whenever I try to write in Korean, it defaults back to a default korean font. The weird thing is, I can use the font perfectly fine in Microsoft Word...
What can I try? I have other Korean fonts that work fine..
