After Effects :: Sound Is Missed After Importing And Exporting In CS5?
Dec 8, 2013
1) After importing any video to After Effects CS5 , the SOUND is missed as well as import also. The problem arises after import.
2) While moving Current Time Indicator and selection of colours , the preview is not shown although preview is ticked. after selecting colour and clicking ok only the colour is applied. and after placing the time indicator at a any place only it shows, but video is played from preview bar on RHS.
I keep getting errors when importing Quicktime files (no matter what the codec is) and when exporting/rendering, (see attached screenshot for error on importing).
Error during rendering (after 10-15 seconds) is:
After Effects error: Rendering error while writing file "xxx". An output module failed. The file may be damaged or corrupted. (-1610153464)
The only solution I found it's to close and restart AE CC. Yesterday I also got a couple of crashes when rendering.
CS6 was working perfectly, error began to appear when I started working on CC.
I have Apple pro apps installed, quicktime is updated. I mainly export in lossless, photo-jpeg or png sequence.
I have some R3D files here from my Red Scarlet and Epic. I used the A Box from wooden camera and a microfone with xlr to record sound direct on footage. In Redcine X and Premiere i got the waveform and the sound, but in After Effects i got only a dead spine. No visible waveform. I can activate sound button on and of, also can change the DB, but nothing happend. I also got no sound with Ram preview or rendering. If i put the footage in a Premiere project and import this Pr Projekt to after effects, than i got the waveform. But that is not the way i want to use my footage. Now i lost al the RAW abilitys from my R3D files and some other specials. Why i got no sound/waveform? I have the latest CC version of AE.
I have imported footage that works fine in Prelude but not at all well in AE. There is always a problem with the imported footage. But mainly there is never any audio or sound. I have read a few other post and tried the recommended solutions to no avail.
I would like to know how to do to preview sound in AE without RAM previewing all the clip I'm working on. I have a clip of 3 mins and I need to preview it all from the begining to modify something at 2min45.
I have made a short film of 6 minutes (in 6 parts on after effects) I have added all the effects and the camera work on AE, but it needs a lot of editing here and there, which I find impossible to do on AE since you can't cut and join scenes like Premier pro. I need to import all these sequences onto premier pro for editing now. The problem is once I import the files, it imports in the right order in systematic folders etc, but it doesn't show any of the camera work or the special effects like gaussian blur etc. All my hard work has gone.
There must be a way you can import the after effects file on premier the way it looks on AE.
Another problem is I read some boards and it has been suggested to edit the clips first on premier and then add effects on AE but I read this really late and I've already composited the whole film on AE. I just need premier for cutting now.
P.S: I also thought about exporting the AE sequences as TGA files but there's ZERO space left in my internal hard disk for that, and it would take forever to export them all anyway. Any other kind of export would reduce the original quality which I dont want, and which I dont have space for anyway, so that option is out as well.
Video-Studio X5.. Using: -> Auto Music Icon above timeline: -> Scope = Sound Effects - Filter = Any -> No Sound Effects Listed.
I do have Music, Beats & complete access to the remaining smart sound features, cant find any sound effects though. Question ? Do any effects come with Smart Sound for VS-X5. I searched Smart Sound and found there website, and I'm not positive but it looks as though they are charging 29.00 for each sound Effect
In VS x3 I had the ability to tweak voice sounds. The voice track could be made to sound like chipmunks or various other sounds. Now with X$ that ability seems to be gone.
I'm using 3ds Max 2010. I'm trying to export my object and import it into a program called, F.E.A.R Public Tools. ( This is used for making levels for a game called, F.E.A.R. ) Anyhow, I click the little 'Hammer' tool and it brings up another list called, 'Utilities' and in that list should be an option called, FEAR Panel.. But I do not see such a thing. I need to export my object and import it into my F.E.A.R. World Edit ( Which is where you actually create the levels, etc. There is a tutorial which shows you what you need to do and I've done exactly that, but it's not working for me for some reason.
I have upgraded my old PC with new MB, CPU, SSD. Complete system disk has been set up from scratch.New installation of PSE 8 worked fine, migration of all catalogs and images without problems. No I get the PSE message that the number of activations has been exceeded.I was not aware that I had to deactivate PSE 8 on the old system :-(( I still have a complete backup of the old system disk, but I can not start the old system any more.
i am a photographer who shoots on the road and has a digital tech/retoucher that is away from the location. with lightroom 5, i was excited to export my catalogs with smart previews at a fraction of the size to send out to the digi tech for editing. the plan was for him/her to then send back only the catalog files which i could apply to the original master files and export finals for the client. i assume this is possible, but am having trouble dialing in the workflow.
I am using Photoshop CS5.When I stamp/merge visible, it did not seem to produce what was last seen on my screen. It seems like it missed some adjustment layers, which I am not sure which one.
I have a handful of palettes that are divided into groups. I need to share these with other people.
At first, I exported the main palette group, with its subgroups, into an xpg file. Of course, I didn't yet know that it didn't retain the palettes at that time.
Then I exported the palettes themselves (maybe 20 in all).
My understanding is that if I import the palettes manually, then import the palette group, the palette group will be populated automatically. That isn't happening.
What is happening: The palette groups are there, and the palettes are there (in the palette list, and they automatically added themselves into the (old) current palette group. If I set the current group as the imported palette group, it adds the imported palettes to that group, but not into the sub groups.
With all of that said, is there a way to import multiple palettes at one time, via lisp or something else that I don't know about. Is there a way to have those palettes appear in their appropriate places on the palette group?
From what I've read about the problem, the palette group is stored in a customization file, and that's why it isn't transferring the palettes into the group. I'm not sure if this is true, or if I misread something, hence my questions to the group.
I've discovered I have some video effects, like "Film Express" (which happens to be a NewBlue effect) in VSX2 that I don't have in VSX4. I'd like to use it but don't know how to import it and don't know where to find it, either. how I might move it over?
I have created a 3d object in photoshop that I want to bring into after effects CC and do a very simple 360 spin.
I have read that the 3d import is no longer available from CS6 onwards so I have downloaded Cinema 4D lite plugin for affer effects. I have managed to get the photoshop 3d object into Cinema 4d as I would expect but now I am struggling to find a way to export that object and import it into After Effects?
I just upgraded to Mtn Lion from Snow Leopard. One difference is I used to be able to export a QT movie out of AE that was uncompressed. Now that option is gone, have to compress it with one of the many options. I have a sound added so I can't export stills. The uncompressed will give me more options as i create different formats.
One of my favorite features in AE CS5.5 is the ability to import 3D files created in one of my 3D programs without plugins. Basically, I just import my 3D model into Photoshop and save it as a PSD, then import the PSD file into AE. This is the ONLY way to import 3D files into AE without having to buy plug-ins, etc, since AE doesn't accept the most common 3D file types. However, everything I've read is that Adobe is eliminating this. How Adobe is going to address this problem in CS6?
We have problems importing Avid Mpeg2 IMX files into Adobe After Effects CC. It's a Dell computer with Windows 7 64bits. The importing footage looks like this when imported in After Effects. We have installed AVID QuickTime CODECs Pack PE v2.3.7 but the problem continues.
I am motion tracking a logo out of my clip by using simple motion tracking. The shot is a bit shakey but the tracker does a pretty good job, then afterwards to be certian I am going through frame by frame to ensure the entire logo is blurred out. (Its fairly big). And doing minor adjustments if need be.
After rendering the clip in my composition window and watching it, its plays through nicely, exacly how I want it.
The I hit (Command M) to "Make Movie" and render my clip out. I use "Best Settings" and render it out, the issue here is that when it is rendering, my blur becomes out of place and does NOT follow the logo like it should be. It jumps around, it dosent completely leave the logo, and jump all over the screen, but it makes the logo clealy visible. But it somewhat follows the logo across the screen in a horizintal matter, but does not stay in place like how the motion tracker/I set it to be.
This is weird to me because I have blurred out several things in the film using the same method already, and for some reason this one is just not working.
I'm working with the denoiser filter cleaning up some audio in an interview. In the timeline the audio sounds clean but on the export certain clips revert to their non-denoised state. It seems to happen with the same couple clips and I have tried unlinking and relinking the media, outputting audio only, outputting just pieces of the timeline and, of course, restarting my machine. There are lots of other clips in the timeline using the same filter and they sound fine
I am having an issue with my audio sample rate. For some reason it is set at 8 khz by defualt when I am exporting. This was not an issue until the latest update (2 weeks ago). I'll try and give all the info I can up front. Also I tried customer support...
Ok the issue I am addressing is that the audio sample rate when exporting is at 8khz by default. Which to my knowledge has NO relevant use what so ever. Even when I set the file format to h.264 it insists on resetting to 8khz. Even if I manually set everything look at the render queue and click on output module again it changes the sample rate back to 8 khz automatically which I must adjust again. Why can it not just be set at 48000 like every other adobe product is and like it used to be two weeks ago.
I am not getting an option of exporting in mpeg 4 format? Infact when I am rendering in AVI file the size of the file is extremely huge. Need reducing the file size & exporting in MPEG4 format.
