I have some R3D files here from my Red Scarlet and Epic. I used the A Box from wooden camera and a microfone with xlr to record sound direct on footage. In Redcine X and Premiere i got the waveform and the sound, but in After Effects i got only a dead spine. No visible waveform. I can activate sound button on and of, also can change the DB, but nothing happend. I also got no sound with Ram preview or rendering. If i put the footage in a Premiere project and import this Pr Projekt to after effects, than i got the waveform. But that is not the way i want to use my footage. Now i lost al the RAW abilitys from my R3D files and some other specials. Why i got no sound/waveform? I have the latest CC version of AE.
I have imported footage that works fine in Prelude but not at all well in AE. There is always a problem with the imported footage. But mainly there is never any audio or sound. I have read a few other post and tried the recommended solutions to no avail.
I would like to know how to do to preview sound in AE without RAM previewing all the clip I'm working on. I have a clip of 3 mins and I need to preview it all from the begining to modify something at 2min45.
Video-Studio X5.. Using: -> Auto Music Icon above timeline: -> Scope = Sound Effects - Filter = Any -> No Sound Effects Listed.
I do have Music, Beats & complete access to the remaining smart sound features, cant find any sound effects though. Question ? Do any effects come with Smart Sound for VS-X5. I searched Smart Sound and found there website, and I'm not positive but it looks as though they are charging 29.00 for each sound Effect
In VS x3 I had the ability to tweak voice sounds. The voice track could be made to sound like chipmunks or various other sounds. Now with X$ that ability seems to be gone.
1) After importing any video to After Effects CS5 , the SOUND is missed as well as import also. The problem arises after import.
2) While moving Current Time Indicator and selection of colours , the preview is not shown although preview is ticked. after selecting colour and clicking ok only the colour is applied. and after placing the time indicator at a any place only it shows, but video is played from preview bar on RHS.
I import any mpg file which are known to have sound and when i ty to play it there is no audio at all from Pro X3. This has been working all along and it just seems to have stopped. I have made sure of the obvious things. We get sound from other apps so the computer and speakers are fine. I have checked the sound icon from within Pro X3 and it is turned up to max.
Whenever I import an AvI file into Corel Video Studio Pro X5 there is no sound whatsoever. Other file types work fine, but any and all AVIs I try will not play back any audio. I have tried at least a dozen from different origins and no success.
I am using VideoStudio X5. Generally video clips in various formats play properly in VS - except for MPG clips. In the case of those, the sound is very "echoey". In other words all the sound is repeated just a second or so later even though I know it is fine in the original. I do not have the same problem in other formats such as avi or wmv.
I want to use Photoshop CS6 ( all updates installed ) for editing my videos captured by the Panasonic GH2 camera. I tried all ways of opening the video0001.mts file known to me ( pressing the + symbol, pressing the little film symbol, open as layers ) , and the video itself is shown and played in PS, but the the sound is switched to off and cannot be switched on.
Is there any special setting required or will I have toinstall a special codec for these files ? As the camera is pretty old, I thought for a full compatibility with CS6.
WAV Files will not play in Sound Sequencer, followed the direction...no sound at all. my system plays the WAV file fine in windows. played back is set to real time, I clicked sound on as well...nothing.
I can see my mts video files in Lightroom 4, but however they do not have sound. Is there anything that I could do to have the sound? (The sound is working for videos that I made with my Nikon 3100 camera, but not for the videos that I made with my Sony camera.) Also, is there a way to light the video files from Lightroom 4 to Adobe Premiere, as Adobe Premiere seems to have more editing capabilities and plays the sound from my Sony videos?
if I export a sequence from the timeline and have it imported into the project it only imports the film but without any sound. With some codec I can play the clip as it should be in the windows 7 ultimate explorer but I sometimes also get automatically a HD-file and the sound files as way as a separate thing. I never had that before. In fact what I want to do is to create a sequence from my timeline and have that as a separate HD-file to use whereever in the project. Especially if the sound is not the original one but added by myself. I have done that before and I would just get my HD-file and could play it in the preview WITH sound. Now all I get is the picture but .... like I said: without sound. That is not normal. So is that a rather useless update or a failure in the program?
And how can I copy a sequence from a timeline and place it anywhere else on the timeline. Used to be so easy in a previous premiere version. Now copy and paste does not work at all anymore. And whenever I want to add a clip onto a layer, I have to shut all used layers, because otherwise the sound goes anywhere but where it should and might just place itself within another sound-layer.Used to be all much better and simpler in previous editions.
I transferred all my photo files from my Old XP PC where i used PSE 5.0 to my New Windows 8 computer and then loaded my new PSE 11 program in...All my JPEG files work but all my sony home video files that used to work on PSE 5.0 no longer have their pictures with their sound..And some off them even have music files running in behind the video sound files.
Running Ulead Video studio 10 Plus and have used it well for the last few years, on Windows Vista Home ed. Have put the audio on to the project as i always have and ever had any problems wih it. Now though it will only play the sound when the audio clip is selected and not when project is selected, although the coloured lines move on the mixer in both sourround sound and non-surround sound when project is selected.
I downloaded the trial version of VideoStudio 4 Pro to try it out and I like the interface and the ease of use. My problem is that when I capture MPEG 4 files in the timeline and go to replay them, the sound and video are very choppy and the replay skips the whole way through.
I converted the MPEG 4 files to wmv, and the video was smooth but I lost some of the image clarity in the converting process. I don't think it's my computer because the MPEG 4 files play nicely on MediaPlayer - just not on VideoStudio.
I am trying to import or open RW2 files sequences from a Panasonic GH3 camera in Adobe apps (After Effects & Photoshop) on a Mac Pro X.8.3. The Adobe apps do not recognize the RW2 file, they open in Aperçu (don't know the name of this app in English, Preview ?)
Does CS6 fix the extremely annoying (<-yeah I did, I used the B I U trifeccta) habit of AE storing .TMP files wherever in the hell it sees fit (usually, but no always, the drive with the most space).
I received an image sequence from a client. I go to import these DPX files into AE CS6/Mac and I get an error that AE can't read 12-bit DPX files. (I thought DPX only came in 8 and 10 bit flavors)
Is there a 3rd party plug-in that can read 12-bit DPX?
When I try to import a .m2ts file into After Effects CS6, there is no audio track what so ever not even if I do the RAM Preview. However, when I play the clip in Windows Media Player, the sound is totally fine. But whenever I import the clip, After Effects detects the video as having no sound. It doesn't even give me the option to check the little speaker icon in the timeline.
One of my favorite features in AE CS5.5 is the ability to import 3D files created in one of my 3D programs without plugins. Basically, I just import my 3D model into Photoshop and save it as a PSD, then import the PSD file into AE. This is the ONLY way to import 3D files into AE without having to buy plug-ins, etc, since AE doesn't accept the most common 3D file types. However, everything I've read is that Adobe is eliminating this. How Adobe is going to address this problem in CS6?
I've imported three mov files and have created them on three separate layers in my AE comp screen. When I press to preview the files they play but only for about 3 seconds. I need them to play the full length of the mov files which is about 15 seconds.
We have problems importing Avid Mpeg2 IMX files into Adobe After Effects CC. It's a Dell computer with Windows 7 64bits. The importing footage looks like this when imported in After Effects. We have installed AVID QuickTime CODECs Pack PE v2.3.7 but the problem continues.
The last one wasnt so drastic, because it was only 1 file. I rendered the .mxf file as a quicktime in media encoder, and the problem was gone. But now I have another project that must be reworked, and it is a long edit with just .mxf files. the error is:
After effects error: Error (4) reading frame from file "D:PROJECT DATAunternehmen aus der regionfilmsOptikGeistRawCONTENTSVIDEO0055B.MXF".
The material is from a P2 card. Every time I move the time indicator in a sequence, it hangs for 30 seconds, and I get the error message again.
Is it possible to open a file that was created in Adobe After Effects CC while working on Adobe After Effects CS6? I know that you usually can't open a file from a newer version of the program on an older version.
